Good college in terms if infrastructure, faculty members.

Placements: Good placements, 100% placed. Average package offered was 4.2lpa while the max went till 10.5lpa. Some great companies such as amazon, vmware, microsoft came for recruitment. Overall placement well good, but this was the scene only for CS. Apart from CS and petroleum branches, all other branches' placement was not good.

Good colleges in terms infrastructure and facilities. Placements can be improved.

Placements: Talking about placements, only Petroleum branches and CS has got good placements while for other branches it was too dull. I am from CS branch and passed out in May 2018, the lowest package offered was 2.5lpa, average placement for CS was 4lpa while the highest touched 11lpa. Few great companies also came such as Amazon, Microsoft, VMWare etc. Though the strength of Computer Science students were too large touching approximately 600, still they managed to get 100% placement. Regarding the roles ...

Take this cllge for your second option.

Placements: AVG package of all the CSE branch is 4.5 Lacs. Last year 2 students got 15 Lacs package from my branch. Many product based companies come here and hire around 4-5 students/ company. Last time Microsoft hired 4 students and offered them 8 Lacs package, Combolt hired 3 students and offered 15 Lacs, Xebia hired 5 students and gave them around 9 LPA. And L &T Came as mass recruiter and hired around 220 students. Every year around 85% students get placed.

Dissatisfied because of the facilities provided by our college.

Placements: About 80% of our seniors got placed with an average package of 4LPA. The internship opportunities were not at all good. Hardly any student from my batch got an internship from the college. Companies like IBM, LTI, Commvault, Microsoft, cognizant, etc., visited our college for placements. The highest package offered was 12 LPA.

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun - A university of one's dreams.

Placements: 100% placement is there in my branch as per previous years. Both Computer Science and Oil and Gas companies recruit from my branch. Average package offered is 3-4 lac per annum. There is a placement cell that is responsible for bringing companies in the campus for placement.

One of the best colleges of Dehradun.

Placements: The placements are quite well in this university. There are many opportunities for CSE. From senior student, I came to know that only 70-80 percent students get placed. The average package is 4.5 to 5 LPA. There are some summer internships in the university too.

UPES is expensive but good if compared with other private engineering colleges.

Placements: Placement are good quantity wise, as in most of the students are placed with average package of 3.5-4.5 Lacs per annum (varying yearly). As per the quality is concerned, the highest package in CSE with specialisation in Mainframe Technology goes till 12-14 Lacs per annum.

An honest review of UPES, Dehradun.

Placements: Placements for computer science are average, with an average package of 4 LPA. However, there are a few companies like Commvault which visit the college for placements with a package of 14-16 LPA. We also had Amazon and Microsoft on our campus with salary packages of 10 LPA and above. Besides this, mass recruiters like IBM, TCS, Infosys regularly visit the college, and a few good candidates are picked up by Intel, and HCL also. The placements for cybersecurity course have been superb in the past...

Placements depends on number of quality students versus companies visiting campus.

Placements: The placement depends upon individual students. Good companies like VMware, Microsoft, Commvault, CA Technologies and many more come to the college for the placements with packages above 10 LPA. If a student is a smart worker and knows the depth of his subject, then taking placement from this college is, taking a piece of cake. Instead, if the student did not achieve any excellence in any area of his life, then placement for him becomes a hurdle.

Satisfied because the number of students are dramatically increased when I took the admission.

Placements: LTI recruited 230 students in placements. Other than that 56 other companies came for campus placements and around 500 students from the computer science got the placement offer. The average salary package offered is around 3.5LPA which is pretty decent and better than any other college.

Great infrastructure and good placements are available.

Placements: The placement for our senior batch and our batch was very good. For CSE department, the placements were above 90%. Around 60 companies came for placement only for CSE department itself. Companies like Microsoft, Commvault, VMware, Direct, HCL Technologies, Dr Reddy's, Reliance, L&T, IBM, etc., came for the placements. The highest package offered was 14 LPA (Commvault), and the lowest package was 3 LPA. Few companies like Dell and NRS Chariot came for the internships. We have a placement cell in ...

How worth is the admission is UPES.

Placements: There is no doubt that UPES provides 100% placement, you can be sure with that. But, it totally depends on the student's capability on how much placement salary they can make. UPES is a good place in providing placements in the colleges, and it is one of the finest universities of computer science.

Placements: Placements went pretty good for the CS Stream. About 96% of the batch got placed. Packages varied from 3L to 22L per annum. Companies like IBM, Microsoft, CommVault, Tech Mahindra, AIS, KPIT, etc. Visited the campus. S/W Developer, FTE, QA & other roles.

Satisfied with the facilities provided by university, and somehow dissatisfied with the faculty.

Placements: The placement percentage in UPES in computer science is 90%. Every year, at least 93% of the graduated batches got placed, and the rest 7% are those, who want to be an entrepreneur or start some startup. For that students, the college gives two years time as if their startup fails due to some circumstances, then the college gives a chance to take part in placement exams and interview. The highest salary offered by our college is approximately 39 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average is app...

UPES must be considered a priority by engineering students.

Placements: UPES has a good placements department, the number of companies that come for hiring is far more than any other college in India. The 100% placement policy is the reason that I and many other students got attracted to the college, and nobody regrets it. They give 100% placements.

Placements: The placements are good. Every year 85% of the students got placed. They placed got placed with a good package, so they are happy. The second thing, our college has collaboration with many companies like Microsoft, IBM, HP, Dell etc.

Great campus Good placements Scenic location.

Placements: The placement cell in the college works really hard towards making the end of the course fruitful for you. Various organisations line up and look for students to sign at their label. 95% of the students were placed this year with an expected increase in the next year. The highest salary offered was 14Lacs/year and the average was around 4lacs/ year.

Placements: This year's batch got a good percent of placement with an average package of 4 LPA, and everyone got in respectable and big companies like IBM, Infosys etc. As I am in my third year, I am also looking for this type of results in my fourth year.

Companies like tcs, amazon, microsoft, L&T etc. Come to offer jobs. Non cit branches are treated poorly in terms of placement accept petroleum, gas and fire safety.

Placements: University of petroleum and energy studies has one of the highest placement percentage in the perfecture especially in oil and gas field as well as the computer Science departments. College tends to provide internship option to all the students as well as support them to get the internship from outside too.
