You feel refreshed with the weather on the campus.

Placements: Approximately 60-70% of the students of computer science branch got placed. The highest salary package of 8 LPA and the lowest salary package of 2 LPA and the average salary package of 3 LPA were offered. Most of the students got offers from mass recruiters, and the top recruiters were Infosys, IBM and L&T Infotech. Around 6-7 students were placed in Dell. The college offers many branches in computer science, like oil and gas, opensource and open standards, cloud, etc. So it was difficult to get...

It is a good college which focuses on the industry-oriented curriculum.

Placements: About 80% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top recruits included Dell, Infosys, ESRI, GoDataDriven, CGI, IBM, etc. The role offered was a software engineer. The internship was offered in companies like ONGC, MapmyIndia, IBM, CGI, etc.

Come here only for Computer Science. Infrastructure is good but the teachers are not good.

Placements: First of all, only CS students are getting placed here and non CS branches are not getting placed at all. Atleast 80-90 companies came for the computer Science students for 2019 batch, but there were many companies which came for sales and marketing profile and students resisted going into them. There is a placement cell to manage all this and for all students' concerns. The highest salary was 12 LPA by ION, average salary being around 4 LPA and the lowest around 3lpa. In my batch all the studen...

The college offers good placements and great campus, and it offers interesting courses.

Placements: Placements are very good. Companies such as Microsoft, Amazon and LTI offer placements to the students with pretty decent packages. Internships are also offered to students in recognised companies by Career Services. Companies offer placements throughout the final year of a batch, and the maximum package offered may go up to 35 LPA.

The review of UPES - University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: About 80% of the students out of 1400 who belong to the computer science department were placed in various technical and non-technical companies. The placement drives are still going on for other branches, and hopefully, all the students will get placed. The worst issue is with the APE Upstream because students having a CGPA of even 9.0 are not getting placed. Most of the students were placed in LTI with an average package of 5 LPA. Other companies like IBM, Bakersfield, Shell, and Reliance, etc...

The college has a good infrastructure. The campus surroundings are awesome.

Placements: Almost every student in CIT gets placed before the starting of the 8th semester. Talking about the placements of branches other than CIT, they usually do not get placed in the retail sector. Only a few top students get placed in their core stream. The average salary package offered is around 4.5 LPA.

The infrastructure of our college is good. I'm dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: Currently, I am in the second year, and I know the companies that are recruiting students for placements. The placements in UPES are quite good. They have a placement record of 94% every year. CIT branches like B.Tech in computer science with a specialisation in cloud computing, cybersecurity, business and analysis and DevOps and non-CIT branches like B.Tech in chemical engineering, fire and safety, and Upstream, etc., have a pretty good record of placements. Talking about our branch, the placem...

I am 50% satisfied with University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: Placements for senior batches were very good. There are 100% placements with lots of dual offers. The average salary package offered is about 4.5 LPA. Placements are degraded for our batch, but there are still 100% placements, and the quality of placements is very low. The college just wants to place students at any cost, be it technical, sales or any role.

The college has good infrastructure, good faculty and a healthy environment to grow.

Placements: Our stream is approved by IBM and due to this, they are providing both theoretical and practical information about the situations faced by computer science companies today. It depends on you how to grab this opportunity and be a part of it as you need to be mentally as well as physically prepared to stand out in a crowd.

The college is not worth the money.

Placements: Placements in our college are not up to the mark as the package offered is about 4.75 LPA which is considered very low nowadays. The college invites companies, but they recruit only a few students out of all. The college does fraud activities at times.

Placements: About 90% of students get placed on an average every year. Companies that come to the college to offer jobs are Microsoft, Dell, ASI, IBM, etc. The highest package offered here is 24 lacs per annum and the average is 4.75 lacs per annum.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch are going on, and about 60% of my seniors have been placed in good companies like Dell, L&T, Infotech, Microsoft, Newleaf, etc. The highest package offered this year until now is 12 lacs per annum, and the average package is 4.50 lacs per annum.

Placements: 99% placements companies-adobe, Oracle, Microsoft, IBM amazon and soon the highest package-28lakhs per annum the lowest package-4 Lacs per annum there were PPO, pre-internship offers also placement cell for the mock interviews and final one stipend is satisfactory as per the companies justification.

Good college in terms if infrastructure, faculty members.

Placements: Good placements, 100% placed. Average package offered was 4.2lpa while the max went till 10.5lpa. Some great companies such as amazon, vmware, microsoft came for recruitment. Overall placement well good, but this was the scene only for CS. Apart from CS and petroleum branches, all other branches' placement was not good.

Good colleges in terms infrastructure and facilities. Placements can be improved.

Placements: Talking about placements, only Petroleum branches and CS has got good placements while for other branches it was too dull. I am from CS branch and passed out in May 2018, the lowest package offered was 2.5lpa, average placement for CS was 4lpa while the highest touched 11lpa. Few great companies also came such as Amazon, Microsoft, VMWare etc. Though the strength of Computer Science students were too large touching approximately 600, still they managed to get 100% placement. Take this cllge for your second option.

Placements: AVG package of all the CSE branch is 4.5 Lacs. Last year 2 students got 15 Lacs package from my branch. Many product based companies come here and hire around 4-5 students/ company. Last time Microsoft hired 4 students and offered them 8 Lacs package, Combolt hired 3 students and offered 15 Lacs, Xebia hired 5 students and gave them around 9 LPA. And L &T Came as mass recruiter and hired around 220 students. Every year around 85% students get placed.

One of the best colleges of Dehradun.

Placements: The placements are quite well in this university. There are many opportunities for CSE. From senior student, I came to know that only 70-80 percent students get placed. The average package is 4.5 to 5 LPA. There are some summer internships in the university too.

UPES is expensive but good if compared with other private engineering colleges.

Placements: Placement are good quantity wise, as in most of the students are placed with average package of 3.5-4.5 Lacs per annum (varying yearly). As per the quality is concerned, the highest package in CSE with specialisation in Mainframe Technology goes till 12-14 Lacs per annum.

Placements depends on number of quality students versus companies visiting campus.

Placements: The placement depends upon individual students. Good companies like VMware, Microsoft, Commvault, CA Technologies and many more come to the college for the placements with packages above 10 LPA. If a student is a smart worker and knows the depth of his subject, then taking placement from this college is, taking a piece of cake. Instead, if the student did not achieve any excellence in any area of his life, then placement for him becomes a hurdle.
