Q: When will be CUET UG exam conducted?
CUET UG 2025 exam will be conducted tentatively in third week of May 2025. NTA will release the official notification for CUET UG exam date before the release of notification. Candidates will be able to know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2025 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates will know the exact CUET UG exam on release of the hall ticket. CUET UG 2025 exam will be a hybrid mode i.e., candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two to three slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

Yes, National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the CUET 2025 exam date anytime soon at nta.ac.in. It is expected that CUET UG 2025 exam will be held in May/June. The exam will be conducted in multiple slots each day. The number of CUET exam slots will depend upon the number of candidates registered for the exam.
CUET 2025 registrations will commence at cuetug.ntaonline.in. CUET Dress Code: Guidelines for Unavoidable Items
- Candidates who wear articles or objects of faith (customary, cultural, or religious) are required to arrive at the examination center at least two hours before the final reporting time. This is to ensure adequate time for thorough frisking without causing any inconvenience to the candidates while upholding the integrity of the examination process. In the event that screening reveals a suspected device concealed within such an item of faith, the candidate may be requested not to bring it into the examination hall.
- If any deviation is necessary due to unavoidable circumstances such as medical reasons, etc., specific approval from the NTA must be obtained before the Admit Cards are issued.
List of Items to Carry at CUET 2025 Exam Centre
Candidates will be permitted to carry the following items at CUET 2025 exam centre:
- Printed copy of CUET 2025 admit card
- Self-declaration form
- Any of the Government ID/ School ID
- Transparent water bottle
List of Banned Items at CUET 2025 Exam Centre
Except for the CUET dress code, candidates must avoid bringing the following items to the CUET exam centre. Candidates will have to undergo the frisking process with the help of highly sensitive metal detectors. Candidates must not carry the following items under any circumstances:
- Textual items like bits of paper, plastic pouch, pencil/geometry box, pen, calculator, writing pas, scale, eraser, pen drive, log table, electronic pen/scanner, etc.
- Communication devices like Bluetooth, mobile phones, microphones, earphones, health bands, pagers etc.
- Wallets, goggles, belts, handbags, caps, etc.
- Wristwatch/watch, camera, bracelet, etc.
- Any metallic items or ornaments
- Water bottles or any open or packed food items
Note: Candidates must know that authorities will provide no arrangement for keeping personal items or articles.

National Testing Agency releases the CUET 2025 intimation slips before the release of the admit cards. The CUET advance city intimation slip will mention the exam city allotted to the candidate. - Scribe facility: In case the candidate has physical limitation and required a scribe for writing the exam, he/she must be certified in the format provided by CMO/Civil Surgeon/ Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution.
- Compensatory time: PwD candidates will get extra time of one hour whether such candidates use scribe facilities or not.

NTA will release CUET 2025 city intimation slip online. Candidates who will complete the CUET application process by paying the requisite fee will have to log in with their username and password and download the slip to check the city where their CUET UG 2025 exam centre will be located.
CUET intimation slip will mention the date of examination, shift, subject/test papers and medium chosen by the candidate while filling the application form. City intimation slips are released subsequently for the exams scheduled on different dates. CUET city intimation slip is not an admit card. It is an advanced information about the allotment of city.
