Honest Campus Review - UPES.

Placements: Placements went pretty good for the CS Stream. About 96% of the batch got placed. Packages varied from 3L to 22L per annum. Companies like IBM, Microsoft, CommVault, Tech Mahindra, AIS, KPIT, etc. Visited the campus. S/W Developer, FTE, QA & other roles.

UPES must be considered a priority by engineering students.

Placements: UPES has a good placements department, the number of companies that come for hiring is far more than any other college in India. The 100% placement policy is the reason that I and many other students got attracted to the college, and nobody regrets it. They give 100% placements.

Great campus Good placements Scenic location.

Placements: The placement cell in the college works really hard towards making the end of the course fruitful for you. Various organisations line up and look for students to sign at their label. 95% of the students were placed this year with an expected increase in the next year. The highest salary offered was 14Lacs/year and the average was around 4lacs/ year.

UPES the new era of education.

Placements: Depends on your resume, overall average package is 4 Lacs, The variety of companies range from core to general It companies. Even big companies like IBM also recruit heavily. One needs to be have a strong technical knowledge for cracking the interviews and get a good paying job.

Placements: This year placements of our seniors were almost average. Almost 92% placements + internships were provided by our college. This year, the highest package in Cloud branch was around 16 Lacs and the lowest package of this year was around 2.5 Lacs. Average package of this year was nearly around 3-4 Lacs. Absolutely satisfied to be studying here at UPES.

Placements: Placement record in Business Analytics is above 90%. Students get an average package of 3-4 Lacs. The highest package is 25 Lacs. Most of the students get internships in many good companies. They get minimum 10000 in return. There is a placement cell which has placement head of each department. It is very useful as they play a very important role during placements.

Satisfied with faculty infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In 2017 around 500 student get offer from top companies like Nestle, Dell, IBM, Maruti, Phillips, carbon black, tata technologies, Reliance, GATE KWE, LT and few more new companies. Under the guidence of career service department and senior faculty member the student placement committee is playing vital in placement of students.

I am happy to have come in UPES and hope everyone will do well.

Placements: Placement record is 90% in Computer Science Engineering with specialisation in Cyber Security and Forensics. The average package is 4 Lacs and the highest has gone 25 Lacs. All the students get internship with minimum 8000 after completion. Students also get a certificate other then degree which shows that the particular student has specialised computer Science engineering in Cyber Security and Forensics.

Great infrastructure and location but lacking proper sports facility.

Placements: Placements have been good for computer Science department, with over 90% students placed at an average package of about 4-4.5 lac per annum. The highest package was bagged by a student of cyber security branch of about 18 lac per annum. There is a placement cell sepersteky for internship and placement purposes.

Placements: Placements at UPES are improving every year. As the university offers courses with specializations in various fields, many reputed recruiters come here for on-campus placements. Companies prefer students because of their domain-specific knowledge. Almost everyone gets placed here. The average package offered is also good.

Placements: The placements are good, by comparing with the previous year. There were really good placements for our seniors. The career office makes connection with different companies and there are many conferences those are held regarding the placements and many reputed company speakers spoke and gave us a path to the success.

Its a nice college to go for.

Placements: Placements are satisfactory. Almost 80-90% of the batch gets placed. Many big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, IBM, Infosys, L&T, Maruti, Hyundai, etc. Recruit students from UPES. The courses of computer Science are in collaboration with big companies like IBM and Xebia which gives the students of UPES more industrial exposure. And they perform very well at the time of internships and placements.

A nice Learning environment to groom yourself.

Placements: Nice placements. There are many companies like Google, Microsoft Services. IBM, Xebia, HCL, HPCL, etc. The average package of this year is about 4-5 Lacs which is much better than many IITs and NIT. Yes, there is a placement cell which is very active and about 50-60% students got internships.

I am glad to come to UPES as it satisfies the needs I want to do.

Placements: The placements are there in computer science engineering in the roles like business analytics and optimization with an average package of 3-4 lacs per annum. Last year, 16 lacs per annum package was also offered to the students. The graduate students are offered with the roles of data analyst, business analyst, and data scientist. Around 90% of the students get the campus internship, while the 10% of the students already have done internships before campus internships.

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is worth the living.

Placements: The college has 98% placement records with the companies like Microsoft, Dell, Postman, HCL, L&T Infotech, and many more that give PPOs and on-campus placement drive. The current batch is almost placed, and all joined early in the companies with the smiling faces. The PPOs were a result of the internship provided by the college in the 3rd-year.

I am highly satisfied with this college, and I wanted to study here.

Placements: The percentage of the placement is 100%. It is a new branch which is introduced two years ago. Its collaboration is with Xebia. The highest package is 20 LPA with average 6 LPA. We are offered roles as a data analyst and data scientist. 100% of the students got the internship. The head of placements department of our branch is best.

Placements: The placement is great at this University.95% get placed.25 Lacs is the highest offered by Microsoft and average package is 4 Lacs. We could conclude that I am satisfied with all the facilities and infrastructure provided.

Placements: Placement was good till 2015 but it goes on decreasing afterwards. The highest salary was obtained by a computer Science student of about 16 lacs from amazon. Average remains between 3-4 lacs and the lowest could be 2 lacs. Yes, there is a placement cell in our college. In 2015 placement percentage was about 92%, In 2016 it was 88% approximately. And In 2017 it was about 86%. .

Placements: The placements of this college have been the major highlight from past few years. Big tech giants like Microsoft took around 4 students with an average package of 10 LPA. There were other big companies like L&T Infotech, IBM who offered an average package of 5 to 6.5 LPA and took around 200 each. Other companies to visit the campus were Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Dell.

Placements: The placement record in this branch is great. Everyone is sure to get 3-4 Lacs average and the highest package is 25 Lacs.90% of the students are placed in this branch.
