Too Expensive for Such Quality.

Placements: Around 80% were placed. The highest package is around 50 LPA, but off-campus internships are offered by the college based on various topics. Cybersecurity, cloud computing, AI/ML, blockchain, full-stack development, web development, etc., are the courses provided.

Dissatisfied with hostels and good surroundings.

Placements: Most students are from a cohort. The highest package for this year has been around 25–30 lacs, and the average package was 4-6 lacs. Most roles offered were from mass and a few from domain-specific companies. Due to the recession, not many students got internships and jobs this year.

Too costly but no advantage.

Placements: There is 100 percent placement or so they say the lowest is too low and the highest is average in many colleges. The lowest is about 4 LPA while the highest is 50lpa which is good but only for the top 3 students out of 3000 get it whole the masses are in the 5 to 9 LPA range.

Good college in terms of everything.

Placements: Placements are good only if you study hard. Otherwise, mass placements are there, which take almost 300 students with a salary package offered was 3–4 LPA, which is quite less as compared to the fees we are providing to this college. So study hard to achieve good placements.

Our college has bad faculty and a good campus life.

Placements: The placement record in our college is quite good. In particular, the placement in the CSE branch percentage is above 90%. The highest salary package that was offered to us was 45.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 3 LPA. Microsoft is the top recruiting company in our college. The internship is generally headed by a mass recruiter company.

The campus life is excellent.

Placements: Around 94% of students were placed. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 20 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. VMware, Cognizant, Commvault, NPCI, HCL, Deloitte, TCS, ZS Associate, etc., were the top recruiting companies. Around 95% of students got internships in major companies like Blitzjobs and its sister company, Microsoft Azure, AWS, IoTi, Lido, TCS, etc. Software developer, frontend and backed profile, analyst, business d...

The college has really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: I am currently in B.Tech CSE CCVT course. I think the placements are average because the placements are good only for CCVT students. For other specializations, the placements are average. I guess the packages of CCVT have gone as high as 15 LPA.

Overall, it was a good experience.

Placements: Most of the students got recruited in some companies. Placements were not that nice, but a few companies offered good salary packages. Now I am working. LTI and Cognizant hired most of the students.

Infrastructure is great, but the curriculum needs to be updated.

Placements: Enough companies are not coming, especially for BCA graduates, so we get very few opportunities. The salary package offered by the companies is very less than expected. Due to this, the majority of students opt for higher studies, and some go for off-campus placements.

UPES - average university with average courses and infrastructure but amazing location.

Placements: 90% of the students got placed. Minimum salary was around 3 LPA and the maximum was 12 LPA. Top companies that recruited from the campus were VMware, IBM, etc. Around 40% of the students grabbed an internship from college and most of them were in startups like To The New Digital, etc.

A good career option and a better place to grow.

Placements: We aren't placed but have seen seniors been placed in more than one company. A great platform to enhance your skills and achieve success. Top IT companies visit the campus for recruitment. And till now UPES has done good work. I hope the placements keep going.

Just satisfied because of fees.

Placements: Our college says that it provides 100% placements, but in reality, it is 80% approximately. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.3 LPA. Top companies like Cognizant, IBM, and LTI. Work from home was available for all if they don't have any off-campus internship. A developer is a top role offered to students. Most of the companies that arrived were not of the core.

Placements: The placement for our course are pretty decent. The placement cell is quite efficient in their work and our able to conduct the placement sessions successfully with companies hiring students from almost all the courses and programmes of the college.

UPES is a college that provides a lot of opportunities.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. The average package ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA for the computer science department, while the highest package may reach up to 17 LPA to 18 LPA. It varies with students and the skill set that they have acquired during four years of their course.

Dissatisfied because of the facilities provided by our college.

Placements: About 80% of our seniors got placed with an average package of 4LPA. The internship opportunities were not at all good. Hardly any student from my batch got an internship from the college. Companies like IBM, LTI, Commvault, Microsoft, cognizant, etc., visited our college for placements. The highest package offered was 12 LPA.

An honest review of UPES, Dehradun.

Placements: Placements for computer science are average, with an average package of 4 LPA. However, there are a few companies like Commvault which visit the college for placements with a package of 14-16 LPA. We also had Amazon and Microsoft on our campus with salary packages of 10 LPA and above. Besides this, mass recruiters like IBM, TCS, Infosys regularly visit the college, and a few good candidates are picked up by Intel, and HCL also. The placements for cybersecurity course have been superb in the past...

Satisfied because the number of students are dramatically increased when I took the admission.

Placements: LTI recruited 230 students in placements. Other than that 56 other companies came for campus placements and around 500 students from the computer science got the placement offer. The average salary package offered is around 3.5LPA which is pretty decent and better than any other college.

UPES Highly rated and no beneficial outcome of it.

Placements: Average placements is around 4 lacks. Some companies also offer around 6-8 lacks to few students. There are some exceptional placements around 9-16 lacks. All student in CS gets placed. Companies like tcs, amazon, microsoft, L&T etc. Come to offer jobs. Non cit branches are treated poorly in terms of placement accept petroleum, gas and fire safety.

Upes - good for engineers.

Placements: The placement is quite good in our college. Especially for cit branches. This year average is around 4 lk per annum for cit branches. On the other hand other branches have average placements. Companies like IBM, Microsoft, Reliance etc. Came this year for recruiting students.
