A college with good infrastructure, average faculty, good sports, a fun life, and average placements
Placements: Most of the students got placed on campus. Almost 90% of students got a salary package of less than 10 LPA. The highest salary package offered in the year 2024 is 52 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Google, Accenture, Futurense, etc., visit the college and recruit students. Our college promised everyone that they give 100% internships offer by the end of the 4th semester. AIML and cloud engineers got some good packages from our campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome. Wi-Fi is average on campus, but in the hostel, it is good. Our classrooms are alright. There are labs according to subjects. The food is good compared to other colleges. There are 3 -5 canteens. For sports freshmen, it's tough to get into a team, but there are sports like football, tennis, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, and some just say the things that are in PPTs. I don't think I can trust them totally. Our course makes students industry-ready. There should be an effort from your side. Mostly, the assignment questions are asked in the semester exams, so those aren't that hard.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in app and web development, and I don't regret it. I wish some new subjects to be added which are relevant to the course. Our college conducts many events like hackathons, ethnic days, and many more. It's just very good.

This is my experience so far.
Placements: I'm still in first year and not fully aware. I got to know from seniors that the highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. It's important to search for internships on our own. They provide free access to Coursera for students to learn as many skills as possible.
Infrastructure: The food in the mess is quite repetitive. It's good in the beginning, but eventually, it gets boring. Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time. There is no medical facility on campus, so if we get sick, we need to go to the nearest hospital.
Faculty: Faculty for non-IT subjects are great but according to my experience, the IT faculty are not so good. At times they just read PPTs and don't explain the concept much. Our Maths faculty is really good. Chemistry and English faculty members are good as well.

Dissatisfied with faculty in teaching quality.
Placements: The highest salary offered to a student in our batch was 54 lac from a Japanese company. The lowest salary offered was 3.2 lac from Teach Mahindra. Most companies offer a minimum salary of 4 LPA. If you are skilled, you can definitely get a good salary at this college. Some of the companies that come for placements are EY, Capgemini, Cognizant, Quinbay, PW, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Broadridge, State Street, Genpact, Zopsmart, Ellucian, Rubrik, Evertz, and Viplus.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and libraries at this college are good enough. The library is a great place to explore and discover new things. It has a wide variety of books on different streams. The internet connectivity provided by the campus is decent. However, there is no canteen facility on campus where you can park.
Faculty: The management team is not good at all, but the teachers are friendly and helpful. You can reach out to them anytime for guidance and help. The teaching quality is not very good, so you have to learn everything by yourself. The sem exams are easy to medium level, and sometimes you might get some difficult questions, but mostly they are easy.
Other: If you are interested in knowing about what is going on in all other branches, then choosing CSE-gen is a good enough option. However, if you want to get admission here, choose your branch wisely as per your need, and don't go with the crowd. Otherwise, it will be more challenging for you in placement time.

My college life at Jain University .
Placements: The in-college is good since the college is tied up with many Bangalore startup companies so they provide jobs for students. Every year, almost 90% get placed in campus placements, with an average salary of 6 LPA and the highest of 42 LPA till so far. And almost everyone gets an internship in college in there 3rd year, for sure. The top roles, like HR, were offered in CSE courses.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is so good, with a good garden and plants around the campus, which gives a pleasant feeling. They are so good they provide two hostels for both boys and girls. The hostels are two sharing with attached bathrooms and all. And they provide Wi-Fi and 24-hour hot water in hostels. The food in the hostel is good, but they do not provide non-vegetarian food, and they also don't allow non-vegetarians into the campus. Jain is the best place for sports and games activities because the biggest sports event in India takes place in the college.
Faculty: The faculty is very friendly and supportive; they are well-trained teachers with at least 10 years of work experience. The curriculum is relevant, aiming to make students industry-ready through practical skills, real-world projects, and internships. Exams are difficult and vary, but pass percentages are typically high.
Other: I chose this course for its balance of theory and practical skill, which aligns well with industry needs. The best aspect includes hands-on projects and experienced faculty. The campus is vibrant with events, good connectivity, and scholarship options. There would be a big fest called infinity in the month of May. And many extracurricular activities take place, like sports, etc. The college provides scholarships for students based on the college entrance examination, which is the JET exam. The scholarship depends on the marks that student scored in the exam. Since the college is a little far from the city, it is a little difficult to travel to the city if needed, but we can find many public transports near the college.

It's been 2 months and so far college life is going smoothly.
Placements: Well, it's still my first year so I don't know much about my placements, but in the passed-out batch, our seniors got 18 LPA packages in Rubriks, and other senior CSE students got 54 LPA in a Japan company. The lowest package was somewhere around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has hostels inside the campus and outside the campus as well. There is a food court, but only people from the hostel can eat there. Day scholars can't even buy that food, but there's a separate section to buy. Classrooms, labs, and the library are spacious, but the Wi-Fi doesn't work properly and you don't even get mobile network signals.
Faculty: The course is divided into 5 modules, and 1 year is divided into 2 semesters. Our batch started classes late, so now the teachers are rushing to finish their respective subjects. We have a month before our 2nd internals, and we have to finish 3 modules. I guess the curriculum is relevant, and yes, the college and teachers are trying their best to make the students industry-ready.

Very average college due to its faculty and their behavior and not very value for money.
Placements: A good number of students were placed in internships but it wasn't from college; you had to find it. The highest package this year was 54 LPA internationally, with an average of 7 LPA. The students got internships in small tech companies they found out about on their own.
Infrastructure: WiFi is bad in the college. Labs are very average using old-generation computers, which aren't efficient so you have to use your own. The library is big enough with a wide range of books. Infrastructure is nice; we have many sports grounds, but we can't use them for students.
Faculty: Some teachers are good and excellent in their field but everyone else is just here because of money and doesn't want to teach anything; they just want to finish their lectures and don't know how to code and become coding teachers. Curriculum is fine, just like other colleges and exams are kind of easy.
Other: I chose this course because I liked it and the best thing about the course is that it helps you explore different fields. The course can get an upgrade by being industry-oriented and practical. Overall, an average college with an average course.
