MUSAT registrations for the academic year 2022-23 has been started. The School of Design, Modi University of Science and Technology (MUST) conducts the MUSAT exam every year for offering admission to its Bachelor of Design (BDes) courses. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can fill the application form in online mode to appear in MUSAT 2022. The registration started from December 20, 2021 and the last date to fill the registration form is not announced yet. MUSAT exam may be conducted in the month of April, 2022.
What is MUSAT?
Mody University of Science and Technology (MUST) conducts MUSAT exam to provide admission to candidates in its undergraduate programmes. The School of Design offers a total of seven UG design courses to candidates which are as mentioned below:

MUSAT Application Process
Candidates willing to take admission in BDes courses offered by School of Design can go through the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Fill Application Form
Candidates have to fill the application form in online mode. For this go to the official website and click on 'Apply Now'. Go to new registration and select the session, 2022-23. Then select the school and programme type. Give your three preferences in the courses that fall under the programme type you choose. After that fill your personal information, qualifications and other informations.
Step 2: Pay the application fee
Candidates applying in the online mode can pay the application fee via Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking, etc. The application fee for the entrance exam is INR 1500/-.
Step 3: Get the Registration Number
After successfully applying for the Design Entrance Test, a Registration Number will be generated. Candidates need to note the registration number for future reference.
Step 4: Appear for Entrance Exam
Candidates need to appear for exam. The entrance exam will contain questions of 50 marks that candidates need to complete in one hour duration.
Step 5: Check Result
After the design entrance exam is conducted, the result will be declared on its official website. The result will contain the names of candidates shortlisted for the next round.
MUSAT Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have cleared class 12 or equivalent in any discipline, with a minimum of 45% from the recognized board are eligible to apply.
MUSAT Admission Process
Candidates seeking admission to Mody University of Science and Technology (MUST), School of Design have to follow the process as under:
Step 1: Appear for Personal Interview & Portfolio Round
Candidates qualifying MUSAT exam will then need to appear for the personal interview and portfolio round. It may be noted that candidates need to present a portfolio in the interview round. Candidates clearing this round will be eligible for admissions.
Step 2: Check MUSAT Final Result
A merit list of candidates to be provisionally admitted to each course will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in written exam, portfolio and personal interview.
Step 3: Pay the admission fee
Successful candidates can secure their admission by depositing the prescribed fees alongwith the necessary documents.

MUSAT 2022 Pattern
MUSAT entrance exam pattern is such that the online paper will contain objective-type questions. Each question will contain four alternatives and candidates need to mark the correct answer. The online test will be of one hour (60 minutes) duration comprising 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) on Design Aptitude and English Language including a few questions on General Knowledge carrying 50 marks.
