The college has the good location and faculty members.

Placements: If you are looking for a job, then UPES is a perfect platform, but for those, who want to do exactly with their field then it is not the right platform. They will provide you with a job in IT company for sure, but for technical field job, you should have some contacts or something.

I had a great educational experience in Dehradun.

Placements: The college has an excellent placement record. Above 95 percent students were placed from senior batch and same with our batch. The students were placed across different reputed companies such as Accenture, HPCL, Tieto, Gulf Oil, Shell, Total Oil, Infosys and many other to mention.

One should have the best college experience. Till date, the college has the best placements.

Placements: All the passing batches starting from 2015 have seen nearly 100 placements with none of the student been placed in a non-core branch. Main recruiters being Reliance Industries Ltd, L&T (HC & Construction), Vedanta, Dr Reddy's Laboratory, Adani Gas, VA Tech Wabag, Weatherford, Cairn energy, Tata Powers, and much more offering an average salary pay over 4 lacs per annum. The highest salary being offered by Cairn India was 8.45 lacs per annum. Most of the companies which visited the campus for plac...

Just another degree selling business with good marketing team.

Placements: Most of the people get placed in IT firms and only a few companies from the core industry visit. The package offered seems too low considering the sum college takes as fees. Some senior placement coordinators even go to the extent of saying that the students buy their degrees, which in turn buys them jobs. Doesn't feel like an educational institution.

View of the college is great. The teachers are not good. The placements are not good.

Placements: During 1st year placement, the students were getting more than 100% placement, but nowadays, the placements are very bad. Only, 20-30 students were getting placed in a batch of 100-120. The highest package of the branch is not more than 6-7 lakhs per annum, and the average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum. The companies come, but they choose mechanical students and ignore the students from our branch.

Be a part of UPES and get ready to work very hard.

Placements: UPES has an excellent placement record in both CIT and non-CIT branches, where 100% placements in CIT branches while 70-80% placements in non-CIT branches. Last year, the highest package in the college was 24 LPA in cloud branch while 28 LPA in the upstream branch and Fse branch placements are very high.

It is a beautiful university and you will get more than you want.

Placements: The placements here are great. Especially in some industry-based branches like fire and safety engineering (100%), applied petroleum, CS with CCVT, CS with cybersecurity and forensic. The highest salary package will be around 20 LPA. All computer science branches are running with IBM, XEBIA.

A review on the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: The placement is good if we talk about this branch. More than 60% of the students are placed every year. From 2018, several big companies like L&T are hiring few students from this university providing a package of about 8-9 Lacs. The average package is 3to 4 Lacs.

Dissatisfied due to placements.

Placements: For aerospace, placement is low in India, as it is still a developing field. I would say placement is below average. Internships are provided by the university. Major companies like Rolls Royce and Honeywell came this year, and Mahindra Aerospace comes every year.

The review of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: The placements on the campus are average, and it depends on your hard work and personality. One should be involved in the college activities for personality development. Around, 75% of the students got placed from 2017 batch. The highest package offered was 7.5 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. The average stipend for the internship was 25K/month. There is a placement cell, which plays an important role during the placements.

Satisfied with the college, but overpriced with absence of transportation.

Placements: The placements were fine for all branches. 95% students were placed. The highest package offered was 31 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average for upstream is 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Companies like Haliburton, Weatherford, L&T, Google, IBM etc. offer campus placements. Roles like a normal job and assistant engineer were offered to all the students. There is a placement cell. It guides us during the placements with as much help as possible.

Good in extracurricular activities but seems poor in placement.

Placements: The placements are not satisfactory. There are fewer companies. The students also get very few chances, and not even in the IT companies. The companies which had a tie-up with the university also did not consider the branch. So, the college should have ensured that every student gets a placement.

The college is good but not worth the money.

Placements: The placements have dropped drastically when compared to the batches, which passed out 3 to 4 years back. A few companies related to automobile have turned up. Mostly the job is for the business development. Major core companies include Mahindra, MAN Trucks, Ashok Leyland, Maruti, KPIT, Hyundai. The internship is compulsory for every student, and the performance is evaluated in the college. The average salary offered to our batch is 3 LPA.

One of the worst college.

Placements: The placements are 100% but not in core companies. They send you somewhere in IT sectors but will give you 100% placement. Some students got placed in core companies. In the name of them, they will try to impress you, and take admission. But in my opinion, please don't take admission in this college. They are taking too much money and don't listen to you after your admission.

It is a very good college with good placements.

Placements: I got the placement from the college. Many companies visited the campus, and almost 80% students were placed until the end. Average package offered was 3.5 LPA. Core companies offered marketing and sales roles majorly. Regarding internship, the college provided the internship for every student.

UPES quality only in petroleum branches.

Placements: The placement here are very good, who are related to petroleum branch. Also, there are many division in CIT, so top branches even get the placement with the package of 4-5 lacs per annum easily. In few lower branches, few companies come, and the company mass recruiters offer at an average package of 3-4 lacs per annum. The safest branch is fire and safety, where there is a 100% placement with the minimum package of 5 lacs per annum. The scholarship is awarded to one-tenth of top students. ...

Placements: Talking of the placements, one thing that is to be kept in mind is that a college could just offer you the opportunities, but grabbing it remains within one's hand. As of the current trend, the chemical engineering is one of the most flourishing engineering aspects that one would love to get admission into. During this semester, 4 renowned core companies offered placements wherein one is the Reliance Petroleum limited. To be honest, less than 60% of the students are placed on campus. The highest...

Not at all a college with value for money. A good place if you are looking for specialisation.

Placements: The placement is average just like other private colleges in India. There are good opportunities. If you can strive them fine, then you can end up being at a good place. Still, I don't personally think it's worth spending 2 months for 3 lakhs package.

Placements: The placement sector in my field is a good one and hope to be the best in the future. Also, the need for automotive engineers has increased a lot in the today's world. So for us its the best one. The placements for other streams are also good, hearing it from the seniors we people get a good feeling. Hope for the best.

This is a perfect place if you want to study in a good environment and a beautiful place.

Placements: As far as we talk about the placements in the University of Petroleum and Energy studies, it is quite good, and most of the students get placed. The package offered to the students varies from company to company. For example, some companies give package around Rs. 3 lakhs per annum and on the other hand, some companies also give Rs. 12 lakhs to Rs. 14 lakhs. So it depends on the companies and also on the students.
