Candidates passed mentioned PG course of any Statutory University or equivalent thereto with mentioned marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) are eligible to apply. Candidates working in Industry at an executive or supervisor capacity (out of which atleast 2 years work experience should be after obtaining a Master’s degree. It should be full-time experience and should not include part-time experience, internship, projects, training period, and trainee – Pharmacy or Management, etc.) are also eligible to apply. Candidates appearing or awaiting for final year results are not eligible to apply. Candidates are required to submit Graduation Mark Sheets of all years and AIU Certificate (by the candidate who has completed their studies at foreign country) at the time of admission. Candidates have to choose a specialization based on specialization at Master program.

Candidates working in reputed Research Organizations or Academic Institutes, situated in the close vicinity of Mumbai or Shirpur campuses are eligible for admission if they satisfy the following conditions: - should be working in an organization which encourages and facilitates research. - The Academic Institution should have at least one running PG program in any specialization - should have a minimum of two years of work experience (full time) in research organization, academic institutions or Industry - should furnish a ‘consent and NOC’ from his/her Academic Institution and ‘MOU’ in case of industry or research organization. All students will have to complete Pre-Ph.D. course work as prescribed by the University. Those candidates who have obtained their degree by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school from recognized University are eligible to apply and register as per UGC guidelines.

Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the Entrance Admission Test conducted by the NMIMS University. Candidates those who have qualified (with valid period and valid score) in NET/ SET/ GATE/ GPAT/ JRF examination of the apex bodies in higher/technical professional education such as UGC, CSIR, ICMR or other equivalent examinations mentioned on the scorecard, such candidates are exempted from NMIMS entrance test.
Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview based on score/ rank/ marks obtained in Entrance Admission Test conducted by the NMIMS University. Presentation based on Statement of Purpose followed by Personal Interview.
Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on the score/ rank/ marks obtained in Entrance Admission Test conducted by the NMIMS University and performance in Personal Interview and Statement of Purpose presentation.
