I'd like to give 4 stars to our college.
Placements: Our college placement activity is very good. Many students were placed in many good companies. Lectures help every student in every activity. 85 percent of the students were placed in our course. Almost every student got an internship at a top company.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and classrooms look good; we have a canteen in our college, and we have projectors in each classroom. There is no Wi-Fi available in our college and foods are good enough in our college. We have different vegetarian foods available in our college.
Faculty: Teaching is best in our college because every teacher encourages students in every activity. Yes, the course is relevant. Semester exams are not hard but they're hard; the passing percentage is 89%. Exams are very strict in our college, and supervisors are also very strict but they help us.
Other: To create a great future, I've chosen this course, and the best thing about it is happiness. I wish to improve my coding skills. Many events take place in our college and at festivals like Onam and Ashtami.

Dissatisfied, because of poor placement opportunities, and high college fees.
Placements: In my batch, only 30-40% students got placed. The highest package was 4lakh, the lowest was 1.8lakh, and the average was around 2.5 Lacs. Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Glowtouch technology, diya systems were the top recruiters. Top roles were Software developer, Technical support engineer, network engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi was provided. Well-equipped labs were available. Classrooms were spacious, and well-equipped. Well stocked library, was available. Hostels were good, with hygienic food. Indoor and outdoor sports facilities were available. Medical support was good.
Faculty: The faculty members were well qualified, and knowledgeable in their fields. They were helpful and approachable. Course curriculum was relevant. They taught according to the industry standard. Exam difficulty, depended on the branch and course.
Other: I chose this course by assuming that, there is good scope. But, at the end realised that it had very poor job opportunities. Events were very good. Campus was also very good, big and very clean.

It has good faculty members and a good educational environment, with good canteen facilities.
Placements: About 70% of the students were placed in different companies. The salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA to 8 LPA. The top recruiters are companies like Hashldin, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro. Almost 50% of students got an instant internship offer letter with a stipend of up to Rs. 25,000 per month. Most of the students are developers and designers.
Infrastructure: There is a hostel with around 300 rooms. We get good food of different varieties. There is a study hall. There are time restrictions for girls. The hostel is within walking distance of the college. The hostel fee is Rs. 90,000 per year, including food. It is 10 kilometers from the city. There are bus facilities, CCTV cameras for surveillance, a TV room, and indoor games.
Faculty: There are helpful teachers. Students are prepared for industry standards. It is affiliated with VTU. Students get cleared in all the semesters. There are three internals in one semester. There is one mini-project and one major project. Electives can be chosen. It is easy to clear exams with the help of faculty members.
Other: I chose the course on my parents' force. But it was worth choosing the course because I got the industry standards and learned many things in 4 years. The college conducts around 5 or 6 fests a year. Shreedevi Sambhram is a national-level fest.

Review of Shree Devi Institute of Technology.
Placements: I am from the 2020 batch, and 30% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 16 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Infosys and Juego Studios. Almost 100% of the students got internships from our course in small startups.
Infrastructure: The library and labs are basic, and there is no Wi-Fi. are basic. Classrooms and the uniform are the things, which made me feel like studying in a state syllabus high school. Facilities in the hostel are not good, and food quality is also not good. The canteen is beautiful.
Faculty: Teachers were the best at their place. The course curriculum is outdated in VTU, and it is 20 years old. Many technologies which are actually used in the IT industries were not taught in college. Semester exams are very difficult. I would suggest opting for this college only because of faculty members.
Other: I like technology, so I have chosen this course. I wish the college to add the subjects related to the present technologies used in IT industries. Events and fests were awesome, and I used to get the scholarship too.

I would suggest an autonomous college because vtu is the worst university I've seen.
Placements: Hardly 30% of students were placed in campus placement and only few good companies with good package appeared and only one or two got placed in each, most of the companies were not core companies, top recruiting companies were Infosys and infotech, it was very hard to find internship in a reputed companies so most of them went with startups and few institutions set to provide internships & top role offered in my course is a iOS developer using swift.
Infrastructure: Facilities were very good at teaching and also friendly so no problem regarding faculty members but the infrastructure was old and outdated not as expected could be better. We didn't have Wi-Fi connection either in college neither in hostel, hostel rooms were horrible and I guess it was a lodge before they bought it, no hot water connection direct to the bathroom attached to the room, we had to get it from a common bathroom. Library was good, labs were okay there are many outdated old computers which wouldn't work properly and had to shift places inorder to complete lab work, canteen is the only place which was beautiful and don't even ask about sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers were great at their job, they did their best to change the students life, had concern about each students. Its not the problem with teachers or the institute if a student couldn't get placed in a good company, it's the fault of the university.
Other: Our batch was 2016 batch, I chose cse because it was my first priority and I was fond of technology, vtu has the most outdated chapter which doesn't help for getting high paid jobs, only way to survive as a software engineer after graduation is to put self effort and learn new technologies and frameworks as I did to get into a company.
