This is the worst engineering college in Goa.

Faculty: The faculty seems fine. They have done their Masters and know how to teach, but they are really rude and toxic. They just come, read the slides, and walk off. When you ask them some doubts, they point out, saying, "What were you doing during class?" Engineering is not easy. It has really complex algorithms and things to understand which cannot be understood in one go.

Really good college with such a low fee for engineering that no other private college offers.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they guide us perfectly in everything. We are given projects that help us become industry-ready, and the semester exams are average and not too hard or too easy. Internal tests are average too; the teachers solve previous year papers before semester exams.

Our college is amazing. Events organised at our college are also amazing.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were amazing. They help us in clearing doubts and issues which we were having while learning. Teachers are experienced, and they are very good at concept-wise. The course curriculum is relevant as per our current industry demands.

Faculty are excellent, but placements are satisfactory. Infrastructure and facilities are average.

Faculty: Our teachers were very good and helpful to everyone who approached them. They were happy to guide students during their final year projects. Teaching quality was good. We got industry exposure. We had industry visits as well. The curriculum was satisfactory.

It is an average college as it doesn't provide luxurious facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are pretty good. All the teachers have good teaching skills. They solve the problems given in the previous year's question papers before the exams. All the doubts of students are cleared. Some concepts taught in the class are implemented practically.

I'm not that satisfied with the college as the facilities provided are quite average.

Faculty: Most of the teachers in the college are not permanent as they change for every one or two years. The teachers who are not permanent, are quite average. Mostly, the teacher uses the projector in the class. Every week, we also had a special class where a video based on the subject was shown.

Good college but bad management.

Faculty: The college has enough faculty in all the departments for all the courses. The syllabus is by Goa university which has been updated recently. The people in the workshops are nice, and they do help you with extracurricular activities, but the department head and principal doesn't allow students to participate in any techfest and such activities.

Good college for the average students.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. There is no industrial exposure in the college. All theory knowledge provided to the student. Electronics and telecommunication course is not useful in Goa but can be used outside Goa.

I will rate the college 2/10.

Faculty: Practically I will rate 4/10. No new technologies are taught other than the available things in the syllabus. Good programmers will never get placed in good companies, only 60% aggregate will get chance. So if you want engineering degree with good marks, you can join. If you want to learn something out of the box, then don't joint.

4 years at Shree Rayeshwar College, Shiroda.

Faculty: The faculty is good, but a few members are just okay. They teach you only 3 modules and the same thing. There's nothing interesting in their teaching style. They're helpful and qualified too. The teaching aids used are slides, green boards, projector, computer, videos, examples related to day to day life. I didn't get industry exposure. The course curriculum is good. Most importantly, they give all the notes that are required.

Improvements required for better placements.

Faculty: We have a good faculty for the electronic department. Teaching method usually included the board. Teachers were very helpful and qualified. Industry exposure was provided by the internship that had to be completed as a part of the curriculum. The entire course curriculum must be updated to newer technologies. New subjects should be included as per the latest industrial requirements.

College with no infrastructure for the students specifically when it comes to extra-curricular activities. It charges students for gym food fees but there isn't any gym food. No campus placements. Has an average performing faculty. Very expensive in terms of semester fees when we compare it to the service it provides.

College is situated on the mountain peak of Shiroda. You have to struggle a bit if you miss the normal Kadamba buses or private buses which comes to the college. During my time there were few silly rules like ban on using a camera phone in the college, not allowed to wear a printed T-shirt (even a T-shirt with reebok as the name was not allowed). Pros: pleasant environment, good class rooms. Some good faculty members are there, who are always ready to help anytime. Cons: No hostel facility (PG o...

It is a good college for life lessons.

Faculty: Faculty members are great. Most of them are friendly and understanding students. They follow modern teaching and encourage students to bring up innovative ideas. Many of them are knowledgeable about their subjects. There is a research orientation. Exams are not that difficult, and the passing percentage is above 45.
