B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2015

I am partially satisfied with this college.
Placements: The college does not provide proper placement during our batch 2015. It was a bad experience in placements. I struggled very hard to get a job after coming out as a product of this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in our college are good. It provides a vast and spacious classroom. The college provides a huge playground, and they will conduct sports event during occasions like hostel day and during sports day. It provides moderate rooms with mosaic finished floors with 4 sharing rooms. Few 6 sharing rooms are also available. The hostel is very good, but there is no Wi-Fi facility inside the hostel and in any part of the campus.
Faculty: There are few faculty members having efficient knowledge in subject matters. They will help us if we approach them frequently. They will prepare and give study material for students during on or before to the cycle test. Those materials are helped me to clear the exam. The course curriculum is relevant. Subjects what we have are good, but it should provide more practical sessions with knowledge lab technician.

The faculty is good, and also all the people have friendly behaviour, the main disadvantage is place
Placements: In my batch, there are no placements, but in the batch of 2012, there are average placements. In the year of 2012, I think 67% of students have been placed from the college. The politics can be added to my college, spoiled the placement. During my time, the minimum salary offered was Rs 10,000. In my batch, Tech Mahindra tried conducting placement in the college, but politics spoiled that.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The classrooms are good and neat. In labs, all the equipment are properly checking. The medical facilities and the hostel are good. All the rooms are very comfortable in the hostel. The only disadvantage is that during the final year, no hostel room is given students.
Faculty: All the faculty members of the college are very good. The teaching process is too good, and also all the faculty members are helpful for all the activities. All the teachers can give some tips for attending the symposium function, and every year they are conducting one symposium and one national conference surely. The final year student contributes any one function on the campus.

It is a good place to study and safe for girls. Our college has full security.
Placements: Many students got placed in Captain TV, Wipro and TCS. 30 students of our batch and 55 members of my senior batch were placed in the placements. Some seniors got a package of 7 LPA. Some startup companies also offered jobs in software, with two months internship, Captain TV also offered a package of 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: My college provides free Wi-Fi, and fully digital lab with the projector. Good hostel accommodation and mess food are excellent, and the hostel also has free Wi-Fi. There is a big playground, and also several sports meets are also conducted. Mess food is good, and it is worth the money.
Faculty: My college has seven departments. There is no biotech department in the college. It gets a university rank every year. Our staff are friendly with the students, and also our college has a personnel officer, where we can tell our problems personally. The compound wall surrounds our college, and the campus is safe to study.
Other: Every year, they conduct symposium and sports events. All community students will get government scholarships.

Other: I can say, a superb College. Andal Alagar is better in Infrastructure and campus life for students from town/village background. They can have some good facilities like hostel ground, gym and canteen food etc. As far as, the faculty and coaching is concerned it’s below par than the top college engineering colleges in TN. They really need to improve the system and also the placement. They have to concentrate for the welfare of the students.

Dissatisfied because of placements services and lack of industry exposure.
Placements: In my batch, only 2 students got placement out of 400 students. In my senior batch, only one student got placement in MNC out of 450 students. The highest salary is 15k and the lowest salary is 7 k. The placement service is not good and there is no maintenance in a proper way.
Infrastructure: In this campus, there is no Wi-Fi connection. There are old equipments in the laboratory and the medical facilities are average. They give much importance to cricket, tennis, table tennis, boxing in sports. Hostel rooms are average. There is a 4x4' canteen available only packed foodstuffs available like lays, biscuits, chocolates.
Faculty: The teachers are M.E graduates. The teaching methods and quality are not dynamic. There is less number of lab assistants and there is no industrial exposure. They need to conduct the extra co-curricular activities related to corresponding departments.
Other: Only two functions Fresher's day and department symposium are organized.

The College Cut-off is the minimum mark prescribed by the selection board for the admission of students. A merit list will be designed on these Cutoff scores. Aspirants who apply for the Institute need to clear the Cutoff for various courses. Aspirants must obtain minimum qualifying percentile marks
