Shri Ram College of Commerce To Host Its Third Edition of National Economics Olympiad; Registration Ends on October 30
September 14, 2020: Following its legacy of bringing opportunities to the students of Class 11 and 12 to showcase their acumen and their understanding of Economics in terms of its applications in the real world, the Economic Society of SRCC is all set to host its third edition of the National Economics Olympiad.
All the participants will be awarded the participation certificates, however, the top three performers from each class will be awarded cumulative cash scholarships worth Rs 40,000 and above. Considering the current situation of the global pandemic, the event will be organised online.
Registrations are open till October 30. The Olympiad is subject to a registration fee of Rs 209. However, to promote further participation, the college is offering an Early-Bird offer where students can only register for Rs 189.
There will be two rounds in total one of which will be held online on November 1 and the other on November 8. The preliminary round will have 10 questions each from Economic Concepts, Logical Reasoning, Case Studies and Data Interpretation. Each question represents one mark and there will be no negative marking. The last round is a surprise round, details of which will only be revealed during the exam.
