Dissatisfied with the placements. Overall, this is a good college.

Placements: Placements were not that good for our batch and our senior batch. Around 40% of the students were placed from our college. The highest salary package offered was 3.20 LPA. Companies like Torrent Power, HCL, TCS, Yes Paper, and Amazon, etc., visited our college for placements. Roles like marketing executive, software developer, and some roles in the technical domain are organised here.

Infrastructure: As far as the infrastructure of the college is concerned, our classrooms and academic building were very good. We have an excellent library, and the medical facilities provided here were quite good. I would rate the infrastructure with 7/10. The quality of the food provided here was good, but the hostel facilities were very poor. We faced lots of problems at the hostel. I would rate the hostel with 4 out of 10.

Faculty: Our teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Our teachers were very good and well-behaved. The way of their teaching was normal just like in every college. The student to faculty ratio is fair enough. The course curriculum was good enough to teach.

Other: Our college organises an annual cultural fest every year, and the best aspect is this fest is organised by our faculty members. As far as the management courses are concerned, students can learn different management methods. Our college also organises different extracurricular activities. A great number of students participate in events like Star Night.

Not actually the college to bring out the best in you.

Placements: The college does not have a considerable placement number with TCS being the main company for all the branches even for the core branches. Overall, less than 100 students were placed from one batch in past two years including all the branches. Other companies like Torrent Power, Daffodils etc also came but usually, one or two students got placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is just average with clean classrooms (though they are not air conditioned). The labs are also pretty fine with working equipment but the mechanical and electrical labs are very hot in summers as they are tin-roofed. The library is good with a central cooling system, a systematic reading arrangement and a rack system. The food in the canteen is far below the average with a limited number of options. Often, I preferred to have packed items rather than the canteen's cooked stuff. I faced issues like leakage and improper ventilation problems in our class. Sports equipment are limited but they are up to the mark. Wi-Fi is only provided to students in the library and hostels and is not available in the classrooms. Overall, the infrastructure is small and average but the greenery is getting improved day by day. The location of the college is on the outskirts of Lucknow and has developing colonies around it.

Faculty: I was overall very dissatisfied with the faculty members and the management system. Ramswaroop follows a rigid testing system which they call it legit and beneficial to the student yet a majority of the students is just suffering as they have to attend the classes of each and every teacher whether they understand a single word of him or not. Just for the sake of attendance, the students waste their growing period in the classrooms to which they do not have an idea of what is going on because of the fear that if their attendance is low, they will not be allowed to give their weekly quizzes and if they would not be allowed, then they will suffer in their internal scores and even get failed internally. The faculty members at our time were just graduates yet the new ones that are being recruited are postgraduates. But, the problem lies that even if one branch complains about a single faculty member that they aren't able to cope up with him/her, then also, instead of changing the faculty member, the management relies on calming the situation and ignoring the students' problem. Though, some faculty members in every branch are patient, intelligent and qualified but not all of them.

Other: The system of the college may seem good to parents or anyone, but the typical 'strict and punishable' system hasn't rewarded students with placement or marks. You see due to the internal system many students suffer from less marks and then they have to suffer outside as the college has a very little placement number. Moreover, the scoring students from core branches also find no placement in the college and after that, so either they join an IT company to get that 'placed' tag, or prepare for years for GATE and other JE or AE jobs.

Review of Shri Ramswarooop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges.

Placements: In our college, a separate placement committee is formed, which works parallelly with the college placement cell. In the past few years, placements were not much appreciable, but since the placement committee is formed, the number of placed students is increased. TCS is the mass recruiter here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite attractive. At the entrance of the main gate, there are two beautiful gardens. Our college also has a bank facility inside its premises. There are eight blocks in our college. The library is also here, which is Wi-Fi enabled.

Faculty: Faculty members here are good, and they show interest in teaching. Faculty members are full of skills and good in teaching. Other support staff members do their work properly. For every subject, there is a different department. HODs are also good and always ready for help.

Other: In our college, many formal or informal cells are active for the whole year. There are separate tech fests and cultural fests which are organised by students in our college. The centre of attraction in tech fest is robotics events, and in the cultural fest, the centre of attraction is Dracula, Euphony and dance.
