Satisfactory college placements but the college campus could have been better.

Faculty: All the professors were highly qualified, educated, and really kind and helpful. Their teaching was exact and apt to the curriculum followed. The semester exams were not difficult, but the marking scheme and paper-checking pattern are really bad, due to which 30-20 percent of students fail every year.

A good college if you want a progressive and peaceful environment to study and develop yourself.

Faculty: I don't know about the teachers of all depth. But speaking about the botany department, they are all very helpful and understanding (if you are regular to college); they will try to teach you with utmost devotion. The curriculum is divided among 2 teachers, which makes it easier for both students and teachers to teach properly. Attendance is a kickback but not a necessity.

Amazing Faculty, good infrastructure and facilities, bad placement opportunity.

Faculty: In my opinion, the faculty was excellent. They were very well-educated and taught effective. The way exams were conducted was also very good and strict, ensuring a fair assessment. In terms of academics, the college was quite strong. They provided comprehensive notes and held classes every day. Additional the curriculum was well structured and the faculty was always approachable.

I am dissatisfied with our campus and overall have no other complaints.

Faculty: Teachers and other staff members are extremely friendly and make us understand the topic very clearly. Course curriculum is relevant as it provides practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. Internal exams are moderate for students who study and pass percentage is higher than usual. University exams are little tough.

It is an excellent college for higher education and academic life.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. They help with doubts whenever needed. Course curriculum is relevant and helps students learn the basic skills needed for the job industry. Semesters are moderate. The question paper is set by Calcutta University, but suggested topics given by professors help a lot. First-class percentage is 30%, and pass percentage is around 95%.

Dissatisfied about my college life.

Faculty: The pass percentage in our university is 30%. It is very hard to get good results. Even scoring 50 percent is like very difficult. The maximum percentage one can get in 80 percent. The college professors are nice. But that doesn't help us score good percentage.

Course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, it not only enhances student's knowledge but also builds their ability in every field. The difficulty level of semester exams is average, with every type of question whether long, short, easy, or hard being asked in exam. Pass percentage is approximately 90%-95%.

Overall Good College, Mainly It's a Girls' College, Not Liking the Food in the Canteen.

Faculty: The college organizes fests and events very often. They put up stalls with different items, and all the students are allowed to participate. Students from different colleges come to our college for these fests.

Shri Shikshayatan College: A pioneer in women's education.

Faculty: This college is under the University of Calcutta and therefore follows the curriculum provided by them. I would say that the syllabus is very vast and quite insightful. I hope that in the future they will add more vocational-based subjects. The semester exams are held with a six-month gap. The exams are a bit hard compared to other universities in West Bengal. Now, speaking about the faculty of the college, the teachers are truly the best. They are all highly qualified and use a proficient metho...
