Shri Shikshayatan College Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Lord Sinha Road, Kolkata

Placements: More than 1,000 students are enrolled in this course from both evening and morning batches. I haven't applied for internships or didn't get selected for an internship because I was in the first semester before the COVID-19 pandemic. So, I didn't get the opportunity. However, I got to know from faculty members that internships and recruitment used to be good earlier. But after the college gained the reputation, placement facilities became poor.

Placements: None The placements come from all startups and no big, good company. So basically it can be said that the college has no good placement. If you're studying in this college, do t expect to get placed. This was a major disappointment, after I learned about this in my 2 and year.

Placements: No placement opportunities Students need to be aware that they have to look for the same on their own. No particular dedicated committee for the same. As a B.Com student they never emphasised on any summer internship aspect that needed to be covered. The involvement of faculty members for the better future of the students were very less.

Placements: We have pathetic placements. I remember one of my friends who was doing M.Com was called up for the job, where you have to move from one shop to another to promote the Airtel payments bank. You are wasting your time if you are looking up for the placement opportunities in this college. It is highly overrated. You may not ever get a job related to your domain. The voice process jobs and a lot of unnecessary jobs stick around that you may not wish to do or may not expect from such a popular colleg...

Placements: Placements are poor. Only 5 to 10 students got placed from a batch of 600 students. Companies visiting our college are less. For our batch, only 3 companies visited for placements. So, my experience was not good with Shikshayatan in terms of placements. The college should improve its placements.
