It's not the best, but it's not the worst either.

Faculty: The faculty for my course is definitely the highlight — they're knowledgeable, experienced, and always willing to help. However, the curriculum and exams are just average. The course structure could be more modern and relevant to the industry, and the exams are pretty straightforward and don't really challenge you to think critically.

Honest Review on Shyam lal college (Delhi University). .

Faculty: The faculty members of the college are very nice and qualified to teach in the subjects they master. They are not so strict to some extent and do not pressure you to make notes. They are always open to clearing your doubts and are very lenient in giving marks. Their teaching style is also exceptional, as they will teach you from the basics. The semester examination is pretty easy if you understand the concept and solve PYQs. The percentage of students getting passed is more than 87%.

Shyam Lal College, Shahdara.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-qualified, with good knowledge. Their communication skills with students are also very good. The semester exams at this college are very difficult because they check our mark sheets very carefully.

Review of Shyam Lal College (Delhi university).

Faculty: All the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and doing research work as well along with their teaching careers. As well as the office staff, they aren't very cooperative, as they are very strict with the office timings and sometimes often work as SBI bank staff members.

Actual reality of a DU college .

Faculty: Semester exams in the college are too difficult as the students need to get passing marks in both internal and external. And internal marks are 70 out of which at least 40 should be scored so that students get passed. In the external examination as well, which is 90 marks, students need at least 30 to 35 for getting passing marks overall.

Life at college in Delhi University.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, educated, and knowledgeable. The teachers are quite helpful and supportive regarding studies. The curriculum of the course is very relevant. The curriculum helps to make students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite easy for the freshers, but it gets difficult as the semester changes.

One of the worst colleges of Delhi University.

Faculty: The faculty is the only best thing in this college; they are helpful, kind, and caring towards freshers. And the curriculum is normal as it follows the Delhi University, and the exams are moderate. Some teachers have egos, and they don't let you give viva if you argue with them.

College is overall good if you are the student who don't get easily distracted by others.

Faculty: The teaching quality is decent, but some teachers do not prioritize completing the course or adequately preparing students for the industry. The passing percentage is around 95%, and exams are moderately tough.

Really a good college which has a good campus and faculty members.

Faculty: Teachers are excellent in their respective subjects; along with this, they have knowledge of other fields also, which they share with students. The teachers not only teach about books but also about how to be a good human, how to live life, etc. The semester exams are held in two parts, and it's not too difficult to get passed in the examination.

Delhi University in-depth analysis.

Faculty: Delhi University has knowledgeable and supportive faculty, like experienced professors who are passionate about teaching. Semester exams are not that tough; you can easily clear exams with moderate studying. You don't need to study hard to pass exams. The passing criterion is that you just have to pass 60% of the subjects (i.e., if you have 10 subjects, you have to pass 6 subjects to clear the semester).

I am satisfied with college infrastructure but it needs to work on academics.

Faculty: Exams are semi-difficult, but it's hard to get a good percentage. They need to add some curriculum activities related to the course so that everyone can learn more about their field.

It is bad in terms of infrastructure, crowds, and college life.

Faculty: Faculty members are very well-qualified and knowledgeable. They provide good education to students and take regular classes, as compared to other Delhi University colleges. Course is quite good for B.Com (Hons). Semester exams are pretty easy if can have a basic knowledge of the subject.
