Placements: The placements were good for certain branches such as the circuit, and the IT branches. But as I was from mechanical, we didn't have much placement opportunities. There were about 60 to 70 companies this year. The packages were averaging from Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs. The mass company which visited our college was TCS, and it took around 220 students. The common role offered was trainee engineer. There was a very little number of students who got the internships.
Placements: Placements are good, especially in core sectors. MNCs like Yokogawa, Heidelberg Cements, Praxair and Gill Instruments visit and take instrumentation students. Rest of the students get the opportunity to sit in software companies like TCS, Oracle, Mphasis, Mu Sigma, etc. For the 2017 batch, nearly 80% of students got placed.
Placements: The overall placements are good. But, if you are looking for some high packages in the mechanical branch, then you might get disappointed. You won't get paid that highly by the core companies in the mechanical branch. At least, that's how it is this year, and it can be because of the bad market situation. But, if you are in the CS, the ISE or the circuit branch, you'll have loads of opportunities, like really a lot of them.
Placements: A good number of placements are there with the highest package of about 16 LPA. All branches are provided opportunities in their core companies. The big MNCs visited like JP Morgan, Amazon, Oracle, Informatica and mass recruitment companies like TCS and IBM but the majority preference is for CS and EC students with more than 50 companies and above which visited. Other branches will have core companies visiting at least once. It is the best one among the top 10 colleges in Karnataka with good pl...
Placements: Last year the batch placements were off around 70%. This year placements are still going on Society general, TCS, IBM, Tech Mahindra, sony, Qualcomm etc., are the companies that came here for recruitment. Around 10-12 lakhs per annum was the highest package, and the lowest is around 3 lakhs per annum.
Placements: There has been an increase in placements. Many reputed companies came and placement percentage is more than 95. Companies like Microsoft, Akamai, Fire Eye, Indian Navy and many more visited. Our college's placement department is very good.
Placements: The number of companies visiting here is high. You need not think about not getting a job. But the problem with core companies is the salary package. If you opted for IT companies, then the package can get up to 10 lakhs. For mechanical, various core companies like Cadaption, L&T, Induction and many more visits but the package is low.
Placements: Every year, placements are getting better and better. CS, IS and circuit branch have 99% placement whereas others have nearly 80% of placements. The maximum offered is 10 lakhs and the lowest is 3 lakhs. Most of the roles offered are entry level engineers. Both placed and non-placed are offered internships and offered stipends around 20-40 thousand.
Placements: Placements are good in terms of number. Around 60% of students definitely get placed. Sometimes it will go up to 80%. The highest package is 8 LPA or so. But only a few companies offer this much. The lowest is 1.75 LPA. TCS, JP Morgan, BEL, Indian Navy, Mysis, Quest, Speridian, Path Partner, Amazon, Sony, CGI, CoreEL, E&Y, L&T, SAN Engg, Sonata, AllState, Oracle, IBM, Siemens, Great west, Societe Generale, Inzoom, Brillio, Y Media, Musigma, TrainZ, Mphasis, Subex, Incture, Minjar cloud and lot m...
Placements: The mass recruiter is TCS. They will take an average of 400-500 students. Other than that, 80-100 companies visit our campus. But core companies will take less no of students, 10-20 students, for an example. Robert Bosch will take around 10 students, Amazon will take around 2-3 members from CS, Samsung will take 2-3.
Placements: Placements for the 2013 batch had over 80% conversion rate with the most sought after disciplines like electronics & communication, computer science and electrical having close to 100 % placements. Each discipline had 120 students (approximately). The placement happened in the 4th year only. Preference was given to mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro and Accenture who hired the bulk of the students. Able to hold only a maximum of 2 offers, one from a mass recruiter and another from a dream company, ...
Placements: Placements are just average. As TCS is the mass recruiter, it acts as a life savior. Other than TCS, many companies have visited our college like Mu Sigma, Amazon, L&T, Oracle, IBM, etc. but the amount of intake by these companies aren't much. Almost everyone gets placed at the end. The highest package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest package offered is 2.8 LPA. Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: In my batch, the placement has been good enough as this year it seems that recession has hit the industry. But most of my seniors in my branch had 2 jobs in their hands. 80 to 90% are placed as TCS, IBM and Accenture come to the college for mass recruitments, so no need to worry about that. The highest salary was 9 lakhs of SAP labs and the average is TCS with 3.5 lakhs. Dell, SAP labs, Microsoft, Red Bus, Zscalar, Pega, CGI, TCS, IBM, etc. are the companies that came. Mostly, they offer soft...
Placements: The placements at SIT, Tumkur are one of the best in this region. The training and placement department of the college takes great pain in bringing the renowned companies to the college. The highest package offered in my batch as of now is 9.8 lakhs per annum. The average salary is around 3.5 to 5 lakhs per annum while the lowest is 3 lakh per annum. The roles offered comprises of Associate Developers, Front-End Developer, Junior Data Scientist, Production Shift Manager, etc. The internships are...
Placements: Placements for our batch was average with 90% placement rate and for our senior batch, it was around 80%. Placements are good for all IT (IS and CS) and E&C branches. Placements are average for telecommunication engineering. The highest package offered from IT companies ranged from 2.5 lakhs per annum to 10 lakhs per annum. Most of the Bangalore-based IT companies that have visited the college like TCS, Akamai, Mu Sigma, Accenture, HCL, Informatica, etc. Some of the non-IT companies are Quest Gl...
Placements: Our college placement history is very good with over 95% students placed every year. Many national, international and multinational companies come every year to recruit students. I am a student of final year and I am yet to be placed. I am hoping to get placed in some good company with 5 digit salary.
It’s a good college having good campus placement and state of art infrastructure. The academic curriculum is also good. Faculty members are good and provide proper guidance. Hostel facilities are good and there is a nice sports complex. Library has a large number of books and journals and there is a late night reading room facility too.
Typical college for those who want to learn something. Attendance wise very strict, you have to fight for every single bit of marks. Autonomous college (Have their own rule set). If you got 7 CGPA and you are in CSE, ISE assured placement. Hostel food is not satisfactory.
