Placements: For be its good but M.Tech not good as we expected. But compare to other colleges it's good to give opportunities to attend multiple companies drive on campus and off campus. College facilities are good. Teaching is also good. Environment is also good.

SIR is an excellent college for both students and faculty.

Placements: More than 100 companies visit SIT campus for placements. They all prefer to recruit students from different branches of engineering. MCA and MBA get few recruiters. But when compared to other colleges, SIT placements are too good. The training is also provided for placements. TCS is the mass recruiter for SIT.

I'm satisfied to study here.

Placements: I got placed in this college, lucky to have placements from this college. I got an excellent opportunity from my college. I got placed in more than three companies which are in top position, and we don't need to look out for this accumulation of certain things.

Satisfied and it is one of the best institution.

Placements: Around 25-30 percent of the students will get placed for sure. During our batch, there were companies like LNT, Atkins, and so on. They will recruit for sure, so no need to worry, but it's tough competition, so try hard and be competent so that you get a job when you pass out.

I am proud to be a part of esteemed this institution. Overall development to student in all way.

Placements: Total of 30 -35 companies visit, most of them are IT and product based companies. Out of 35, only 5-6 are core companies where the intake is less. TCS is mass recruiter. In our branch always there is 85-90% students get placed in one or other company. The overall average salary is 3 to 3.5lakhs per annum. The highest annual salary paid by Dell which is 7 Lacs for testing designation. Some companies like Redbus, Siemens, Quintlies etc. Offered internship and full time offer for some students. Pla...

Satisfied Civil Dept, 30-40% placement.

Placements: Placement for our batch was below average. Around 15 to 20 got placed in TCS and 2 got place in L&T. This happened because TCS came to campus first and most of top scored students got placed in TCS where these already placed students are not allowed to attend core company L&T. Because of which only 2 got placed in L&T. The highest salary was 5lacks and the lowest was 2.8lacks. They conducted 20 days internship in Tumkur city for performing survey on different topics and 20days at NICMAR Hyderaba...

Absolutely satisfied with college because of teaching and placements.

Placements: Students studying in the branches like electronic and communication, computer science, about 99% of them get placed in good companies. While the rest branches like mechanical, electrical, IT, telecommunications, chemical get a 90% placement in companies. Also, every company coming here will ask for the CGPA of at least 7 and no current backlogs. Almost all people will be placed in one or the other company like TCS, Bosch, Oracle, JP Morgan, Red Bus, Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro etc. The main compan...

Placements: It usually has 100% placements. A lot of companies like VMware, Redbus, JP Morgan and Microsoft comes for the placements. The placement criteria of the college are quite reasonable. The placement cell is always there for the students for help. The internships are also available, and the students also take special industrial training programs for the increase in the chances of placements. The placement usually starts from the 7th semester, and all the major companies visit the college in the 7th ...

You will get placed. They provide soft skill classes and aptitude classes.

Placements: The college is doing best for placements. Many companies come to our college placements and every year take 500 students from all branches. The college faculty is more focused on the placement and are trying to contact with many companies and trying to assure almost full placement to every student. They are even carrying out aptitude and soft skill training as well so that students can do well in placement activity.

Placements: Lot of good companies like Amazon, Microsoft are coming for placement. Core companies for branches like mechanical and electronics are less compared to IT branches. TCS takes more than 250 members evrry year. And placement cell is also active and u can get internship in good companies.

Not like the rest, SIT is the best.

Placements: In 2016, the placement was excellent compared to other colleges in Karnataka as 90% of the students got placed at least in one company. The training and placement dean was very helpful, and the department is maintained by Geeta ma'am who is the sole for the placements.

I loved my days being in it. It is a good college, and you will fall in love with it for sure

Placements: SIT is known for the good number of placements provided for the students. In terms of placements, SIT ranks number 3 in Karnataka and 33 in India out of all the colleges. Out of 1000 students, a minimum of more than 800 students gets placed in one or more companies. TCS and INFI are the primary players. SIT will provide separate training for 3rd and 4th years students so that the students can easily crack the interviews and get selected. In my pass-out year, the companies offered a minimum of 3 ...

Placements: The placement department is good. It organises training right from the first year. After passing out from college, we still get support from our placement department. They conduct aptitude and verbal skill-building training through experts.

Placements: Compared to our batch, the seniors got a more placement opportunity. In our batch, nearly 70% of the students got placed. As far as I know, the highest salary offered was around Rs. 10 lakhs per annum and if you take the average salary from every company visited, it would be around Rs. 3-4 LPA. Among the best ranked colleges. Privileged to be a part of it.

Placements: The college is good at placements but there's a lack of companies for the mechanical department. TCS is the highest taking company except for the mechanical department. The companies are preferring computer science and electronics & communication department than us. The placements are poor when it comes to our department, except for TCS.
