A:
{Source: After 10th Diploma students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's what they had to say:

* Teaching Quality: While some teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, others might not be up-to-par. Students reported that the teaching quality is subpar, and the engineering course curriculum is not fully prepared for the industry.
* Infrastructure and Facilities: The college lacks adequate facilities, such as labs, libraries, hostels, canteens, and medical facilities. Students expressed disappointment with the condition of the hostel and the absence of canteen and medical facilities.
* Placement Opportunities: Unfortunately, Sidhu Kanhu Birsa Polytechnic College does not offer placement opportunities with reputed companies. However, some students managed to secure jobs after completing their course.
* Salary Packages: According to recent graduates, the salary packages offered range from Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 60,000 per annum, which might be lower compared to other institutions offering similar courses.

Considering these factors, whether or not it's worth pursuing a Diploma at Sidhu Kanhu Birsa Polytechnic College depends on individual priorities and expectations. If you're looking for a institution with better infrastructure, teaching quality, and placement opportunities, you may want to consider alternative options. Sidhu Kanhu Birsa Polytechnic College lacks in terms of placement opportunities, facilities, and qua
Placements: I passed with a 70% overall score. I completed my course at a government-sponsored college where I only spent $4000 for college fees, and the rest for room rent, expenses, etc. In contrast, private colleges charge approximately $150,000 in total. There are many companies that recruit students like Tata, Aditya Birla, and many more. However, at Sudhu Kanhu Birsa Polytechnic, there were no placement opportunities with companies.
Infrastructure: The college has very poor facilities. There are inadequate facilities for labs and the library. Although the college has a hostel, it has not started functioning yet. Additionally, there is no canteen on the college campus, and no medical facilities are available for students. Moreover, there are no facilities for any kind of sports in the college.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful, but the overall environment of the college is not conducive to student learning. The teaching quality is subpar, and the engineering course curriculum is relevant; however, the college fails to prepare students for the industry. The semester exams at the college are excessively difficult. Despite these challenges, I completed my course with a 70% overall score.
Other: I want to be an engineer. For that, I chose the course.

Placements: Our college has good placements. Only top-ranked students are afforded this opportunity. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. A minimum of 90% is required by students to be placed. The salary package offered is good.
Infrastructure: Only girls' hostels are available for all diploma students. The hostel is not good. Hostel facility is available but only one student opted for it. Labs are not available. Wi-Fi is available. Our classrooms and library are good. The food is not available. There is no canteen. Medical facilities are not available. Sports and games facilities are not available.

Review of Sidhu Kanhu Birsa Polytechnic College.
Placements: Above 70% of students are placed in this course. The highest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package is 1.5 LPA. The lowest package is 1 LPA. Tata Power, Rashmi cement, and L&T are the top recruiting companies in this course. Above 60% of students got internships at our college.
Infrastructure: College provided technical labs and vast classrooms, we also have an efficient library with a lot of books. The college has a hygienic and well-maintained canteen. The college organised annual sports each year.
Faculty: Highly Qualified trained teachers are present in this college. Their teaching is very easy to understand. College makes each one industry ready. Semester exams are a bit hard, everyone passes the examination. This course is curriculum relevant and has very application in our technical world.
Other: Electrical engineering has a lot of applications in several industries throughout the world. So I have chosen this course. Several events like the tech fest and the cultural fest are held in our college. A scholarship facility is also available in this college.

I am dissatisfied with our college infrastructure and guide facility.
Placements: Around 5%-6% of the students from our course got their placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month. There are no internships here. Companies like Hitech, Rashmi Cement, etc., visited our college for placements. Some teachers visit our college to make students ready for interviews and to groom and provide personality development.
Infrastructure: There is a hostel beside our college, but our college did not start providing the hostel facility still due to some unknown official reasons. There are no canteen facilities, and a cricket tournament is conducted every year. On the campus, there is a Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms and library are well arranged, but labs are still not set properly for practical work.
Faculty: Some teachers here are really helpful, very much qualified and knowledgeable. But due to lack of facilities and infrastructure provide problems in their teaching. As lack of lab practical knowledge, students don't become ready for industry line. So, this course curriculum is not relevant, and students need to do a course and take training further to get ready for the industry.

Infrastructure: It is a government college, but the hostel facility is not available in our college. Now, the hostel is under construction. There are many paying guests near the college.
Faculty: Faculty members were good and friendly. They taught us well. They always clear our doubts. The exam system was good.
Other: The environment of this college for studying is good. Students get good degrees in our college.
