Review of SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce.

Placements: In my course, about 20% of students were placed. The average salary package that was offered was around 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. No companies visited our college for the past 3 years. I don't have any idea about internships. I can't say about others. Talking about roles, I have no idea.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was not available for students but ethernet facilities were available in laboratories. Laboratories were good enough for 60 students at a time. In my sense, the library of SIES is the best library I have ever seen. You name it and that book is available in the library. Mess food is very expensive and the taste is not good.

Faculty: Teachers were very much qualified and very experienced. They teach in a very unique way. They relate the problems to the real world. This course is very much relevant. It definitely makes one industry-ready. Semester exams were not so tough and the passing percentage is 40%.

The college can be better if improvements are made.

Placements: I am currently in my 3rd year. Our seniors got placement offers from companies like IBM. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top roles offered were data scientist, junior data analyst, software tester, etc. Almost 70% of the students got internships and job placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but it is not that great because the range and speed are average. Labs were recently renovated, so the equipment is of the latest models. In the canteen, the food isn't great, but it is edible. Still, it is very costly as compared to outside the college. The gym is also quite spacious.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good. You can gain basic knowledge required for future studies, but the way of teaching isn't much likeable. Many students aren't industry-ready as they don't pay attention to the courses, and they are also much theoretical and not practical.

Other: I would be passing out in 2022. I have chosen this course because I like it and can find a future in it. The campus space should be improved, and extracurricular activities should be supported.

An overview of my college and it's infrastructure.

Placements: 70% of the students were placed in this college. They offer the best education to the students. In the final year, many top companies try to recruit us.75% of the students get a job offer with a good salary.

Infrastructure: At the college, we have an availability of free Wi-Fi. The labs are just awesome with great arrangements of chemicals. The classrooms consist of digital screens that help us to study and understand better. A peaceful library is there, which helps us a lot. The campus doesn't have a hostel. It has a canteen with good food. Medical facilities are also available for emergencies.

Faculty: The teachers are good as they solve each and every doubts of the children. The teachers teach everything so efficiently that the exams are easy to clear in the first attempt. The passing percentage of the semester is 35%. The best teachers are appointed here so, there is no problem with learning.

Other: I wanted to learn more about computers so, I took Computer Science.

Good teaching faculty with good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Min 55% and max 88% of students were placed. 20k was the highest, 14k was the lowest and 18k average. TCS, Infosys and Hexaware visited here. Support engineer, Network administrator and Developer were the profiles offered. 2.6 LPA as high, 1.9 LPA as low and 2.2 LPA as average was offered in internships. 40% got placed in TCS and 28% got placed in Infosys.

Infrastructure: The facility and infrastructure of CSE department is too good. College lab and library are too good for the students. It has peaceful environment for the study purpose. It has two canteens, one on the ground floor and second one on the third floor. Both the canteens are average and the food provided is overpriced.

Faculty: Teachers are too friendly and helpful. All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is too good for beginners and intermediate students. Even after the college, teachers are ready to help the students. This course does make the students IT industry ready.

Other: One should know the knowledge of programming language being in the growing IT industry. If students have to choose among a bunch of courses then this is the one to go for. Events and fests held are extraordinary.

It is a good college with quality education.

Placements: More than 70% students got placements. After interning, the students had a higher rate of getting jobs due to the popularity of the college.

Infrastructure: The college has a great infra and the best of the libraries. Canteens are well maintained as well as the hostels. Wifi is the best with high speed internet.

Faculty: Teachers are the best in the city with friendly personalities. They help us in several activities, exams, etc.

Other: I chose this course because it is related to computer.
