Placements: SIES is one of the top-notch colleges for B.M.M. in Mumbai that has over 90 students per batch. The college also ranks 7th for mass media studies. However, there is no college placement opportunity. I mean to say that there is no company that comes and hires the pass-outs. The jobs and hiring are generally posted by the department itself in a particular group. Many of us got the internship opportunities through the department itself but I don't think so many did as our batch students are majorly...
Placements: 46 per cent of students got placed and they are satisfied. The highest package was Rs 4 Lacs per annum and the lowest was Rs 2 Lacs per annum. The average CTC offered is Rs 3 Lacs. 20 percent of the students got internships.
Placements: There were no placements opportunities for our batch, and I had enrolled for B.Sc in biotechnology. The department didn't conduct placements for UG courses, and I did though they were probably starting IT for further batches although masters had placements.
Placements: I do not have an idea about how many students got placed in the previous batch. I think about 70% of students get placed. The salary package offered is average as far as I know. The best companies do not visit our college for recruitment. I am not sure about the internships provided in our batch. Top roles like system administrator and operation executive are offered in our course.
Placements: The HOD frequently shares requirements for various posts. Most students get internships and opportunities are available in this college. The internships can be in the fields of content writing, social media management, digital marketing, celebrity management, photography, editing, etc.
Placements: I am currently in my 3rd year. Our seniors got placement offers from companies like IBM. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top roles offered were data scientist, junior data analyst, software tester, etc. Almost 70% of the students got internships and job placements.
Placements: There are eligibility criteria for placements like students should have above 7-8 points in their courses. All courses don't have placements, and the salary offered is based on the academic percentage of students. In our college, the top course is B.Com. There are 2 classrooms for B.Com, and both of them have 130-150 students. But B.Com doesn't have any placements.
Placements: Our college doesn't offer good placements, but they give a letter of recommendation. However, it is not that useful as placements are very important for students who need to work after graduation. So getting placed by the college becomes more useful as we are hired according to our knowledge and skills.
Placements: Around 40% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 2.70 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2.30 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.10 LPA. Top recruiting companies like E&Y and Media.net visit our campus for placements. Around 30% of the students directly got placed in the top companies. The eligibility criteria for the students to get placed is 60% and above.
Placements: SIES has a good placements cell. I'm a B.Sc IT student and most of them got a placement from LTI, Capgemini, Deloitte, and TCS. SIES has a good placement in other department also as well as our students also performs well. The only thing there is the lack of space for sports activities. College fest are fantastically organized by our council 60 percent of students get placed.
Placements: The college has an individual placement cell. Even though majority of my batch mates didn't opt for a placements, there are various sectors coming in to get workforce for their respective industries. Also the alumni helps a lot with networking inside the industry which makes it easier. During my year the students had organized a job fair as well.
Placements: The placement on the campus was good. This year, the placement percentage was 85% in the First round. Last year, Placement was good and I guess placements percentage was 90% a lot of companies tie up with the callege. The average salary was 3 Lacs to 4 Lacs.
Placements: For a subject like physics there are no placements as such cause there is no direct application of physics. But yes some companies did come for offering us jobs of sales, etc. Yes for course like B.M.M. BMS, B.A. B.Com there are many companies coming in. Students have a really good opportunity.
Placements: SIES college doesn't provide any direct placements, but I want to say that the quality of education is really good. The one who passes out from SIES, he or she can get a better job easily with a good salary, as well as they can secure their future with better education.
Placements: There is no scope for placement in this college for the students who have graduated in Arts stream. There are many majors in his college, e.g. history, economics, politics, English literature, etc. However, if one completes their graduation in science or commerce, there is some scope of the internship.
Placements: SIES has a good placements cell. I'm a B.Sc. IT student and we have got placements coming from LTI, Deloitte, Media.net, Capgemini, Infosys till now. Half of my classmates got placed as our students have been performing well as compared to the others. We are looking forward to TCS, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra to come in our college. Apart from our department students, SIES has a good placement cell for the other streams as well. My friends from the other streams are also got placed. So, people join...
Placements: There were no placements for biological sciences in our college. But the students have gone abroad or have got seats in the top science colleges in India for their M.Sc, e.g., MSU, Gujarat. The placements were available for the non-biological courses like physics, maths, statistics and chemistry. The companies like TCS and Infosys came. The minimum salary offered was Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 15,000.
Placements: The placements are pretty decent. These days, a majority of the companies have the concept of pool campus wherein a company calls all the students from that department to one particular common point. And the news was conveyed to us by the management in a decent way. There were 10+ companies which included Wipro, IGATE(now known as Capgemini), TCS, Infosys, Syntel, Tech Mahindra, etc.
Placements: The placements for my batch weren't great. In fact, it wasn't good at all. My senior batch was also the same, if not worse. Hardly 5 students were placed. The highest package was not more than 2.5 or 3 LPA which only 1 guy got. Lowest was around 1.8 LPA. Icici Bank and TCS were the only 2 companies that visited our college. We got finance executive jobs. No company came for internships also.
