Placements: The placements were good. At that time, TCS, Capgemini, Xoriant, and L&T were the notable companies which came for the batch. TCS picked up a huge number of students. Around 110 students were placed in TCS itself. The highest package offered was 5 lacs per annum by Xoriant.
Placements: Placements are what matter the most for any aspiring engineering student. At SIES, you can be assured of 95% placement for IT and computer departments having various recruiters like TCS, Capgemini, L&T, Tech Mahindra and a few startups picking up quality students and offering good roles like system engineer, Java developer, etc. The average package of bulk recruiters ranges from 3 to 3.5 lacs per annum. It would be highly recommended for the students to do a Java certification and get placed at ...
Placements: There's a fairly good TPO in the college which makes sure that most of the students have the opportunity to be placed. Every year, around 10-15 companies visit the college and I would say around 60-70% people get placed easily. Almost all the IT companies that come offer the post of a software engineer or the equivalent in their firm. The salary range in my year was from Rs. 315000 to Rs. 450000.
Placements: Most students get placed in mass recruitment drives held by service-based companies like TCS, Capgemini, or L&T. Barring these, the college attracts a wide variety of companies which offer a standard package offered to freshers. The training and placement cell does a commendable job of preparing and counselling the students regarding the placement process to streamline their experience.
Placements: All the main mass recruiters came for placements along with A lot of dream companies. Also, there were placements in the eighth semester which don't happen for a lot of colleges. All the companies also didn't make the students wait long for the joining date.
Placements: Students were decently placed with an average salary being approximately 3.2 lakhs per annum, the highest being 4.5 lakhs and the lowest being 1.5 lakhs per annum. More than 70 percent of the batch got placed via the campus recruitment drives mostly in IT companies as a software engineer.
Placements: The placements were not many. Around 10 companies visited SIES in total for my batch. Majority of the companies recruited students with 60%+ aggregate only. Very few other companies accepted students with 55%+. The main companies that visited were TCS, IGate, Tech Mahindra, L&T, etc.
Placements: The placements were average at a time, which was back in 2014. The mass recruiters like TCS, iGate (which is now Capgemini), L&T and Tech Mahindra ruled the show. The mean salaries were about 3.5 lakhs with job profiles being those of software development, digital marketing, SEO etc. The training and placements office was headed by the extremely respected and efficient faculty members; this ensured utmost integrity in all processes. The initial sessions were conducted by the T.I.M.E. for mock GD...
Placements: Placements were quite good as 90-95 percent of the batch got placed and the major companies which come to the campus were from IT sector like TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, etc. There were a few core companies for electronics and telecommunication and also for printing and packaging. The average package was around rs. 3.2 lacs PA and the highest was around Rs. 7 lacs PA. The college didn't facilitate any internships and the students had to try it for themselves. Majority of the intern...
Placements: The college has a good history of placing students. In our time most of the students got placed in IT companies. 80-90% students get placed, rest opt out to prepare for GRE or go directly for MBA. The highest package was 6 lakh in our time. The average package hovered around 3-4 LPA. 75% attendance is compulsory and very strict.
Placements: The placement cell is really very good at SIES GST and gives its best shot to make sure most of the or all of the students get placed and have a good start to their career. The placement cell also conducts extra sessions to prepare for placements and design a good Resume.
Placements: The placement of my batch was almost 80% and they also help in finding placement for students below 60% aggregate. The minimum package was of 3.18 lacs and the maximum goes till 4.12 lacs. They bring in top companies like -TCS, Tech Mahindra, Syntel, Cognizant etc. The job of software engineer was offered. No internship is provided by the college but you can apply on your own provided it is in line with final year project.
Placements: Placement of my batch is very good and about 80% of students got placed. TCS recruited 120 students from my batch, and the bulk recruiters are TCS, L&T, Tech Mahindra and I-Gate. The placement till 2016 is very good, and all the students get a chance of applying for jobs here. And one more important thing is that your pointers or % should be more than 60 so that you can apply for the bulk recruiters.
Placements: Very few recruiters are looking for the electrical engineering students, but there are good placements for IT and CSE though. Then again, the situation is the same almost everywhere in Mumbai. In my time, the average salary offered was around 3.2 lacs per annum with TCS being the major recruiter. Reliance and ZTE came for the people interested in the networking domain, but there were none for hardware or embedded software. Other big recruiters include L&T, iGate, Tech Mahindra etc. ...
Infrastructure of the college is good and excellently maintained and kept clean, even the labs are also very good but the only problem is with the ground. The college has no good ground for the students to play in. The students have to go to neighboring RAIT College for the ground to play. The campus is bit small as compared to other colleges in Navi Mumbai. Canteen is very nicely maintained and spacious. Library doesn't carry some wanted books but the place is quite and calm to sit and study. ...
It has a great infrastructure with well-equipped labs and facilities including the library. The college has a good and refreshing campus area. Excellent placements are provided to the students. It has a very good faculty, supportive and knowledgeable. It provides great exposure to extracurricular activities and loads of festivals and fun are there in the college.
It's a pretty good college. The teachers are quite friendly. But very few of them teach with the intention of imparting knowledge. Mostly the teaching is exam-oriented. There is an anonymous feedback system, where your feedback about the faculty is taken up seriously and can make a difference. Placement cell and the placements are good. It has good infrastructure. The college is very strict about the attendance. The college has imposed a fine of 2k if found with a mobile anywhere in the campus.
Infrastructure: The College has good campus & infrastructure. The campus life is good. Classrooms are well maintained. Labs are excellent and well equipped. Placements: Placement activities are well conducted. Most of the companies which come are IT companies: TCS, Tech Mahindra, IGATE, LnT Infotech etc. Limited core options. Nearly 80-90% of the students get placed. Faculty: The teaching at SIES GST overall is decently ranging from poor to excellent teaching faculty members. For some subj...
The decision of joining SIES was a difficult one. It is one of the renowned colleges in Mumbai and it has good facility as well as faculty. The lab sessions and the guidance provided was good and helped me in developing my circuit building skills and understanding electronic gadgets more. Also, this campus encourages sports which I feel was a plus point for me as it is important to play along with studies.
Overall, it is a good college. The crowd is the best part. It helped me in developing into who I am today. The sports facilities could have been better. The canteen has been renewed and it’s good. The college is presently having some issues regarding permissions. I would recommend this college to everyone.
