It's an average-level college in Navi Mumbai.

Placements: Our college, having a high placement percentage in the Navi Mumbai Region, placed 75% of students in the last year's batch with Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, and LTI for roles in IT companies. The package ranged from 4–8 LPA. The Training and Placement Head was very helpful in guiding us.

Teaching, events and fests are average, but the food and infrastructure are bad.

Placements: I have not yet experienced the placements. However, placements for all colleges have been dropped in the past few years because many companies have stopped visiting colleges. Still, placements in SIES are average. The highest and lowest salary packages offered are sometimes 12 LPA and 2 LPA respectively.

Very poor placements, but good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement here is very poor. Also, the TCS recruitment from my batch was very poor. They recruited only 6 that too it was a pool campus. No core companies for EXTC and mechanical. Many marketing and BPO based companies come for the recruitment. Otherwise, the placement percentage is very less.

The placements were not good, and few of the rules were annoying. Rest everything was okay.

Placements: The placements in SIES are not good, but for previous years, it was fine. In our batch, hardly 20% students are placed. The highest package is 5-6 LPA, and the lowest is 1.8LPA. The college provides no internship, and all IT-based companies visit our college. The average package offered is 3.5LPA.

The college is excellent from studies point of view.

Placements: The placement seemed to be quite disappointing for all the branches except computer science and IT department. The job profile is mainly for graduate engineer trainee, but also there were some marketing jobs too. Senior batches had mass recruitments, but now it is slowly decreasing.

A good option if your scope of college is limited within Navi Mumbai

Placements: Placements are good as compared to most other colleges in Navi Mumbai. The most common recruiters are TCS, Igate (now Capgemini) Zycus, L&T and Tech Mahindra. Salaries range from 3-4 LPA. Students from computers/IT had slightly better offers. Most mass recruiters will provide you with on job training and will designate you with profiles ranging from developer to menial excel sheet updating, so choose your projects wisely once you get onboard with your job. The college didn't provide with interns...

A dissatisfied four-year journey.

Placements: The placements in SIES GST are really very bad. Until the last year(ie., for students who graduated in 2016) the placements were close to 100%. But this year the placements were really bad, especially for students from electronics and telecom and mechanical. Placements for IT and CS were still better (their maximum pay package was approximately 5.2 lakhs per annum). For electronics and telecom companies like LnT, Capgemini, Cactus, Alepo Technologies, Zycus, Endurance, and Byjus visited. TCS and...

SIES - certainly not for engineering!

Placements: The placement was really pathetic, to say the least. The Training and Placement professor from our department was so inefficient in bringing any companies and so efficient in promises that all students had to search for jobs on their own after the completion of their BE. The only chance we got was Schindler, after the completion of college in which the students did not know how the eligible candidates were chosen for the interview (HR). Schindler picked one from our batch with a package of 3.3...

Good for people looking to learn. Placements are not good.

Placements: The students are placed mainly in IT sector. Companies like TCS, L&T, Vertusa come to the college for recruitment. There are not many core placements. The average package offered is 3-4 lakhs. This was in 2013. Things may have changed since then. Mechanical field was introduced in 2012, so some companies related to that field might be coming too.

Good crowd, disappointing infrastructure, average placements, and average faculty members.

Placements: The average placement was 75% till 2015. But this figure dropped this year to almost 50% because of the college being moved to the Tier-3 list. No matter of your field you can get an IT job with decent salary if you were able to crack the interview. The average salary you get is just above 3.25 LPA. Top recruiters are GEP, TCS, LnT Infotech, Tech Mahindra, Zycus, etc. The job profile is mostly you get here as an assistant software developer, data analyst, assistant system engineer, graduate engi...

The college is average. It is pretty strict about attendance and submissions and you might be detained for failing to maintain a certain required attendance. The labs and classrooms are well maintained and way better than some of the colleges ranked higher than SIES. Teachers do try to complete the entire syllabus most of the times but all end up skipping a few topics naming those as self-study. Almost everyone gets placed in the usual IT companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, L&T etc.

It is described as one of the strictest colleges in Navi Mumbai. SIESGST is good college for every kind of student. But there are some other aspects in which they need to improve, for example link usage of mobile in college costs the students Rs.5000. This is very ridiculous and regular suspension of students is also a worry. Overall it is an ok college to seek admission.

The placement of the college is good. It has very good infrastructure. The environment of college is very clean. Crowd is also helpful. It has canteen which serves all kinds of food from south to north dishes and also has fast food corner. The teaching faculty is also good. The students are free to ask any doubt from the teachers.

Faculty is impressive, while hostel life is rather disappointing because of poor health precautions.

Placements: Around 40% of students in SIES were given a proper placement. The package offers were starting from 1 Lacs to 3-4 Lacs. The top recruiting companies were hiring. About 40 percent of those students got internship at companies like PayPal, swiggy, zomato.

It's a very good college.

Placements: The placement facilities here are very good. Teachers help to do internships, which are very useful for the future development of students. They will email you once a week about internships to join and proceed further to do it to gain better knowledge.
