If you haven't got a job from on-campus, then you can go for off-campus as some students are going for off-campus also.

Placements: SIT placements are well known in the entire Techno India Group. Talking about the current placements in SIT, the average salary package offered is 3-4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA by a renowned company. The head of the placement cell, Techno India, Nirmal Bank resides in SIT and checks the placement cell of SIT. We have seen a rise in the number of new companies visiting the campus.

Placements: There are good placement opportunities according to your skills. The average salary package offered is 4-4.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 9-10 LPA. Various reputed companies visit the college for placements, so students get good opportunities to get placed job with good salary package.

Placements: This college provides good placements with huge salary packages. MNCs like Intel, Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc., visit the campus for placements. Intel provided the highest salary package of 10-12 LPA. SIT has good placement records. Intel offered a salary package of 11 LPA to almost 11-12 students per year. The average salary package offered is 3-5 LPA which is more than other colleges.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is quite good. Many of the big companies come here to recruit students. They offer good packages to the students. Some of the big companies are Mcafee, Intel, TCS, Infosys etc. However, the placement opportunities offered for our class are also good.

The salary package offered here is around 10-12 LPA. Companies like McAfee, Byju's, etc., visited the campus for placements. In the academic year 2018, Almost 10-12 students were offered a salary package of 10 LPA or more than that. The average salary package offered here is 2-3 LPA.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very active. Every year almost 30-40 genuine companies come here. A pool campusing happens in the early stage of final year. If a student is well in aptitude solving and have in depth knowledge about some selective subjects of B.Tech curriculum he/she will definitely get job. The highest salary given - 9.6 LPA Average salary given - 4-5 LPA the lowest salary given - 2.4 LPA.

Placements: We have a separate team of faculty members who look after our placement and assist us in each and every step. We have a dynamic, enthusiastic placement cell working for the benefit of the students in all the direction. The companies which have come for the placements are NTPC, TATA Motors, Durgapur Steel plant, All India Radio among many others.

Placements: Placements in our college are one of the best in India. This year, the highest package offered was about 1.38 crores per annum. Moreover, the packages offered to BBA students are good, around 25 LPA. The average package offered by an MNC was 19 LPA. For the electronics students, the average package offered was 14-15 LPA. The lowest package was around 9-10 LPA. Overall, the placements were good.

Placements: The placement cell is very good. As I am in first year itself. In the very first week of our classes. We had interacted with the professors. They provide you good placements. For CSE-IT guys. The placement is much more likely. It depends on your skills.

Placements: If you are fluent in English and good in aptitude, you will definitely get a job from this college. Companies like TCS, L&T, Altimetric, etc., visit the campus every year for pool campus drives. Candidates also attend the drive conducted in Techno India, Kolkata in which many companies participate. This college provides many opportunities, but it depends on you to get placed. You need to have good communication skills, aptitude, and a little technical knowledge.

Placements: Almost 40% of the students were placed in 2015. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. MNCs like TCS, Nokia, Ericsson, LTI, Persistent, Robert Bosch, Indian Navy and Indian Airforce, etc., visited the campus for placements drive. Roles offered were as the assistant engineer. Almost 30% of the students got an internship from the college.

Companies do not interact with students or visit the campus on their request. Placements are mainly handled by the placement cell of the college. From the last few years, a good number of placements have been achieved, and it will increase gradually.

Placements: Our college has a placement cell. Head of placement cell is the Head of techno India group. He meets us occasionally and briefs us about current stage of placement areas. We got a great idea regarding current scenario. We have come to know what amount of effort is needed.

Placements: As the placements are going on, Siliguri Institute of Technology seems to offer bright opportunities at least for the students of electronics and communication engineering, information technology, and computer science engineering. Last year and this year, some good companies have visited our campus for placements.

Placements: The placement in our college were fairly good despite the neck to neck competition all around. The percentage of students placed this year were above 50%. The highest package gone this year were 12lk per annum. Reputed companies like wipro, Accenture, intel, Byju's, TCS etc. The average package was about 5lk.

Placements: The college organises many campus drives, but the only thing required from the students is well-equipped skills. If a student has sufficient skills, then they will definitely get placed in a good company from this college. Also, various internships are provided by various companies through online tests. Even the college is cooperative in this matter.

Placements: I am in the first year of my course right now. As far as I know, the placements of the college are quite good. Last year, two students got placed in Intel with a salary package of 39 LPA.
