Review of Sinhgad College of Engineering - SCOE.

Placements: In 2018, students got placed in top companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Accenture etc. Students of SCOE have received the highest salary package of 8 LPA to the average salary package of 2.5 LPA. The college has a placement cell which guides the students to crack exam and interview. They focus mainly on students, who are weak in some required zones.

Summarizing the college, It is overall the best one can get. Diversity, best campus life and more.

Placements: Considering Chemical engineering branch, I will say that placements are below moderate. In the previous year, one core had visited the college through campus drive and the same with this year. But the TPO ( training and placements officer) gives exposure to many companies and also arranges for interview but here you have to compromise on your package. In the other case, Department like IT, Comp, Entc have large scope of placements. This year about 1230 students were placed in companies such as I...

Average to low Placements in 2017, but a good enough campus for the tenure of the college.

Placements: Placements were pretty average as compared to colleges in B-Tier. The top 25% of the students in the batch were able to get campus placements, while the others struggled. The average salary offered was around 3-4 LPA. Roles were offered in Design and Manufacturing Sector. A placement cell exists and can help you with your placement.

Satisfying, because here we not only get educated but find the purpose of life. Unforgettable days.

Placements: There is placement and development section provided by college. Each student depends on his abilities can apply for placement and jobs through campus drives. Placement and training centre is always helpful to the students to make them confident and achieve their job goals.

Excellent Placement, outstanding infrastructure, experienced facilities, superior curriculum.

Placements: This year Sinhgad College has the highest placement records in Maharashtra. For IT section 1223 students placed in companies like Infosys, Cognizant and Accenture. This year Cognizant gave offer to 269, Infosys to 289 and Accenture to 665 students with avg package of 3.5 to 4 Lacs per annum. For other departments placements are still in progress. It's a decent college with great college life, infrastructure, and faculty but mediocre placements.

Placements: Placements in Sinhgad are pretty decent. The best salary package was offered by EQ Technologies, i.e., 7.5-8.5 LPA followed by MuSigma offering 7 LPA. Both of these companies only hired around 20-25 students combined. Mass recruiters include Accenture, Infosys, and TCS, offer around 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. They recruit the majority of students. Other companies visiting later in the last year also offered salary package of 3LPA. So basically, in a nutshell, you are most likely to get a salary package o...

Placements for 2018-2019 batch have been good.

Placements: Placements for 2018-2019 batch so far have been really good and are still going on. Around 90% of the students got placed by now. The average salary package offered should be 3.5 LPA. The placement cell has been really supportive by bringing companies to the college.

One of the best Institute.

Placements: Placement of Sinhgad college of engineering specially civil department was not good in year 2016-17. In Sinhgad college mostly IT and Computer students are placed. Companies for civil and mechanical are not interested to take drive. Companies like IBM, Capgemini, Accenture, etc. Average salary offered by company is about 3.2 lakhs per annum.

If you want to do engineering in IT, computer, or ENTC, you should opt this college.

Placements: A lot of companies visit our campus for placements, but most of them are looking for IT, computer and ENTC students. So if you want to do engineering in one of these courses, then I will recommend you to opt for this college. Basically, many IT and computer students got placed. They also prefer civil and mechanical engineering students. But in my opinion, after studying civil engineering course why should they opt placement in an IT company. Almost 1 or 2 companies visit the campus for placement...

Good placements in 2015, really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The college provides 100% placements. The average package offered was 4-5 LPA. The lowest package offered was 2 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Infosys visited the campus. Roles offered were a software engineer. Around 60% of the students got internships from college. The stipend offered to the students ranges from Rs. 50,000-1 Lac. A placement cell is available in the college. It is very useful for students to get placed in MNCs.

I had a great learning experience and an awesome time on the campus.

Placements: Many companies visit the campus for placements, but most of them are IT firms. However, all the companies don't visit to hire the total strength of your branch. I was a mechanical student, and around 20 core companies visited the campus for our department, and the strength of our department is around 400 students. However, each company hired only 5-10 students. You should be the best in your batch to get placed in those core companies. Else, you can start working with IT companies as they hire t...

The college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements in college are average. Most students are placed in IT and companies like Accenture, Infosys, and Cognizant are regular recruiters. Core companies like John Deere, Bosch, also visit the campus regularly. Roles of GET are mostly offered. The average salary package would be around 4-5 LPA.

SCOE is the best college. It has the best campus as well as the best crowd.

Placements: Our college offers more placement opportunities for IT and computer science departments, and they offer a few placement opportunities for core branches like mechanical and civil departments. Many companies visit the campus, and they hire students in great numbers. The college also conducts internship projects for the students of the civil branch, which will help them to improve their practical knowledge.

Sinhgad College of Engineering is a good campus, but some teachers are not good at English.

Placements: The college has good placements. The same campus is shared by three more colleges, so the placements are combined for all these colleges. Be aware of the college before taking admission.

The college has good infrastructure and campus surroundings.

Placements: The placement scenario in our batch was fair. The type of companies visiting here for the mechanical branch was good except the lesser number of core companies. The average salary package offered was around 4-4.5 LPA. The placement cell was fair enough in regards to placements. Internships were rarely offered through our college. The college focuses more on this part and includes it in the course curriculum.

The review of Sinhgad College of Engineering - SCOE.

Placements: Placement opportunities are good for CS and electronic engineering students. Some companies like Oracle, Google, Microsoft, and many others visit the campus to recruit the students. But the other engineering departments have poor placement rates as only a few companies visit the campus to hire them.

Not a bad investment when it comes to Pune.

Placements: Students above 60% aggregate with average communication skills mostly get placed for 3.4 Lacs per annum and above, though mostly in IT sector companies. Electronics & telecommunication, IT and CS students land up in better companies with better packages than other specialisations.

Pretty interesting with a scope of improvement in every aspect.

Placements: Did not apply for placements. My plan was to continue with further studies. Some of my friends got placed in some civil engineering firms. I don't think that the college had a role with that. They got the jobs by applying outside the college. No civil engineering firm came on campus for placements.
