Placements: The placements are good enough. It totally depends on the students. If you study and do not have any live backlogs, then you can get placed. I think the highest package offered in my college was 6.5 lacs per annum and the average was 3 lacs per annum. Various companies visited the college such as EQ technology, Xoriant, Amdocs, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, and many more.
Placements: Due to the slack in infrastructure sector as a whole, the placement scenario for civil engineering department everywhere in India is poor these days. A handful of students got placed through campus placements. The institute follows the rule of single job opportunity per student, and there is nothing like dream job and core job opportunities. Once you get placed, you are out of the system. If you reject an offer, you are out of the placement system. Still, many students get placed through off-cam...
Placements: In the placement drives, there are students from all the engineering colleges of STES so there is bit tough competition for placement. Many reputed companies like Bosch, Atlas Copco, Mercedes, etc. come for placements. The salary ranges between 2.5 to 6 LPA. Some companies may also offer up to 7 LPA.
Placements: 90% of the placements are available for IT and COM. The placements are not available other branches. Various placements activities organise by the department to improve personality development. The teachers provide the information about the placement. Training and placement sector hold various sessions.
Placements: I have no good idea about placement in our branch, but what I saw was 3 civil engineering students getting placed in different companies. Salary offered to them was 3.25-3.35 LPA. A total number of civil engineering students (1st shift+2nd shift) = 180 (final year).
Placements: The placements here are pretty good. The recruiters from core companies are less, but the kind of exposure provided by the institute is good. Giant companies like Accenture Technologies, Tata, Mahindra, Infosys and Cognizant are the good picks amongst the student community.
Placements: The placement was decent for my batch and senior batch. Total 65 % of the students got placed on my batch. The average package was around 3.5 LPA. The companies like TCS, Infosys visited the campus, and the roled offered to them was a trainee. The college had not provided internship for our batch.
Placements: Placements are good. There is a 70-30 ratio of service-based to product-based companies. Most of the dream companies (Microsoft, Barclays) usually recruit students as interns in the 3rd year itself and offer PPOs. Good academics are necessary criteria for good placements.
Placements: The placement scenario is quite average here in Sinhgad. Product based companies tend to come here before the service based companies, giving the product based companies an edge in getting better students. Companies like Nvidia and Microsoft come when they want and are too choosy about their cut-off schemes. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant are the major recruiters here. Students from all branches are recruited in these companies. The average package is Rs. 3.25 lpa. ...
Placements: They are not as good as other branches and the salary offered was a bit low. A few companies like SPCL came and the salary was also good but the number of students who participated was very less due to criteria. There was a large number of students who wanted to get placed but due to the minimum number of vacancies, the students were disappointed.
Placements: From the placement point of view, the college is good. More than 60 good companies visited this year. But, the competition is high because of the centralised placement system. Most of the students are placed in mass recruitment. The average package offered is around 2 to 4 lacs. The highest package offered was 12 lacs by HSBC and lowest was 1.5 lacs. Overall, the college is good and there is a better future ahead of you so work hard.
Placements: The placements are good. If you have a percentage above 60 or even 55, there are very good chances of getting placed. The salary is only around 3.2-4 lakhs per year. Only exceptional students can get better companies. Internships are difficult to get here. No recommendations are provided by the college.
Placements: Placements in the college are quite good for many branches like computer engineering, electronics engineering, except for some branches like civil engineering and mechanical engineering to some extent. But the people from these branches also get placed through off-campus recruitment drives. During my time, our branch had about 80% of placement and the same case was for our senior batch. The highest package was 14 LPA while the average package offered was 5-6 LPA and the lowest package was 2.5 LP...
Placements: Frequent placement drives were conducted & over 1000 students were placed in many well-known companies. Highest CTC was 8 LPA provided by Nvidia & companies like Tata Technologies. Oracle visited and got students placed. Other mass recruiters like Cognizant, Infosys and Accenture visited the campus.
Placements: Placements for our department are not so good as most of the jobs are those the companies bring to offer the computer or BE people. 40-50% were only placed from the department. The highest package was 6 LPA and the minimum was 2 LPA, averaging to 3 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Infosys etc. came. Most of them were IT firms. Roles like tester, designer, web application developer etc. were there. There were no internships for the department. ...
Placements: Good placement record, but maximum opportunities are given to students from computer science and IT. The companies coming to the campus recruitment are mostly in the IT sector, with very few opportunities in the core sector. Students other than computer sciences branch face problems for campus selections. Students who are pursuing higher education after their bachelor's degree get very few chances, even to appear for the placement drives. The average packages offered to students are around 3.5...
Placements: For core companies, the placement was less but for IT companies, the placement was good. The highest salary for core job was around 5 lakhs per annum, the lowest was around 3 lakhs and the average salary was around 3 lakhs. I think the reason for less placements is that many students go for higher studies.
Placements: I am still in my second year so I have yet to experience this myself. But according to my seniors and some friends, the average percentage of placement (actual percentage i.e- including the people who were not allowed to sit for placement interviews due to various reasons like active backlog and stuff) is roughly around 60%. As for IT and computers, there are various companies present like Infosys, Cognizant and TCS. I believe Mahindra and Forbes Marshall also visited the campus.
Placements: Many companies come to hire talents from SCOE, Pune every year. 95% of our senior students were placed in various companies including some of the big ones. The highest paid student got a 12.5 lakh rupees per annum salary, the least was 1.85 lakh rupees per annum and the average salary is 3.4 lakh rupees per annum. Companies like Microsoft, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Nvidia, etc. have visited the college.
Placements: The placements for civil engineering department are poor relative to other CSE and IT branches. The average salary offered to civil engineering graduates was 3.5 LPA. Only about 5 to 10 percent of the students from the department got placed in core construction companies like Shapoorji and Precast India Pvt. Ltd. Some went into IT MNCs like Accenture and Infosys. There is a special training and placement cell which is very active.
