Review Sinhgad College of Engineering, vadgaon bk.

Placements: They conduct STP sessions, which are totally useless. Colleges just have a below-avg placement in them and nearly no placements in core, but decent placements in the IT sector with 3-5 LPA salaries. Not very high-profile jobs are offered here, so don’t expect too much.

The college is poor in every aspect.

Placements: The placements are very bad. The highest package of this year was 1.8 LPA. Very less number of students got placed this year. This year mass recruiters did not come. There is a placement cell, but there is of no use. The internship provided by the college are only paid internships that too they are charging very high.

Only teacher is qualified but with less knowledge. The campus is nature friendly. Bad management.

Placements: Many companies visit every year for the campus placement including Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Amazon, etc., and other local companies. But by considering today's situations, fewer companies visit Sinhgad campus. The companies visit the whole campus including Vadgaon, Ambegaon, Kondhva, Narhe, Lonawala, etc. So there are many students and fewer chances to select in the campus. There is a separate campus authority for every branch. 400-500 students were selected through the campus. But now...

If possible, try to avoid taking an admission in any private technology college in Maharashtra.

Placements: Roles offered in core domains like mechanical, civil and electrical were only 10%. Out of the 40% of the batch placed out of 1500 students, 90% were placed in the IT companies like Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest package offered was 5 LPA by Mahindra and Mahindra whereas the lowest package was 2 LPA by one of the IT companies. Roles offered were mainly in the domain of trainee programmer and graduate engineer trainee. None of the students got any form of internship from ...

Absolutely dissatisfied because of college faculty but placement and campus are good.

Placements: Placement is not quite good as proper guidance is not provided by the college. Still, every year, many companies visit the college for campus placement. So if you are lucky enough and have got good marks then maybe you have that chance. Though the college is now conducting some programs which can increase your chances of placement.

It is the worst decision of my life to choose this institute.

Placements: Earlier, placements were good enough but due to strike the reputation of college has collapsed and these things became a huge threat to placements. This year, most of the students were not placed. Earlier, for mechanical branch also, placements were most available in non-core companies, i.e., IT sector.
