The dark truth about Sinhgad College of Engineering.

Placements: The problem with placements is that it has only a few companies for students. Most of the seniors have told me that we should try off-campus. Placements for chemical engineering are good. Only a few companies visit our college and provide product-based jobs. We can get jobs on petroleum-like things.

Satisfied by the faculty members but the training and placement officers are not supportive.

Placements: The overall percent of the student placed in this college is around 25%. The companies line tcs, mahensdra, accenture, wipro, infosys, and many more companies are have visited at sinhagd college of engineering. The students about 50 to 60 got the internship opportunities in my college.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2020.

Placements: In the previous year, the highest salary package offered in the CS branch is 33 LPA offered by the Japanese third party. The average salary package offered ranges between 6-7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Mahindra, etc. , visit our college for placements. Many companies offered a salary package that ranges from 6-12 LPA. About 50-60% of our seniors got internships, and about 70-80% of the students got placed here.

Sinhgad is a place for extracurricular activities as well as education.

Placements: Placements are average here. Most of the companies which visit here for placements are IT companies, and even they are mass recruiters. Some analytical companies visit here, but very few dream companies like Amazon, Amdocs, etc., visit sometimes. But they may or may not select any student.

The college provides a better ROI than big private giants. If not willing for further studies.

Placements: Almost 25% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The average salary package offered was about 2.8 LPA. Accenture and Haier were the top recruiting companies. Embedded developer, software developer, etc., are the top offered to students. In our course, the highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA, the average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA.

Placements for 2018-2019 batch have been good.

Placements: Placements for 2018-2019 batch so far have been really good and are still going on. Around 90% of the students got placed by now. The average salary package offered should be 3.5 LPA. The placement cell has been really supportive by bringing companies to the college.

Not a bad investment when it comes to Pune.

Placements: Students above 60% aggregate with average communication skills mostly get placed for 3.4 Lacs per annum and above, though mostly in IT sector companies. Electronics & telecommunication, IT and CS students land up in better companies with better packages than other specialisations.

Dissatisfied because of poor placements.

Placements: Placements of our batch were not good. Around 30% of the students got placed in 2017. The average salary packege offered was just 3.5 LPA. Only a few students from the core companies got placed. Most of the students were placed in companies like Cognizant and Accenture. As far as the internships are concerned, less than 10% of the students got internships from our college with a stipend of less than Rs. 2,000. The placement cell of our college needs to be improved.

Review of Singhad College of Engineering.

Placements: The college provides a lot of opportunities in the IT sector, but the core mechanical students have tight competition as every branch of Sinhgad Institute visits the main campus for placements. The process is good, and the training and placement cell cooperates pretty well. They make good use of their contacts, but again, an individual should focus on themselves, so that chances of getting placed would increase.

Dissatisfied with the faculty as they never encouraged us to meet the current industry standards.

Placements: Most of the companies that visited the campus to offer placements for our batch were IT companies. Hardly, two companies related to the electronics department visited the campus and offered the salaries of Rs. 12,000-15,0000 per month. Most of the IT companies offered a package of 3 LPA. Only a few core companies visited the campus for the branches like chemical and mechanical. Not even a single company has visited the campus to hire the students of biotechnology branch.

Dissatisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: I got placed in Cognizant Technology Solutions with a salary package of around 3.38 LPA. During my tenure, we had bulk placements in companies like Cognizant, Accenture and Infosys. It was quite easy for students who had required academic percentage to get placements.

Really good infrastructure but little dissatisfied with teaching staff; placement record is good.

Placements: We have good placement record, many MNC's come for placement drives, but there is a criteria to have at least 60% throughout your graduation. We have good placement faculty as well as good teaching faculty who guide you at every point of the last phase while going for an interview in college.

Good college but crowd is not so good here.

Placements: Placement here is not great. 40%-50% people placed in my senior batch. 9.8 LPA is the highest salary offered. 3.5 Lacs per annum is the average package for you Department. The lowest is I guess 2.5 Lacs per annum. Lately cognizant, accenture visited our campus. Likely there are many more companies like Infosys, quick heal, nvidia who visited our campus.

College campus and infrastructure is quite good but disappointed with placement for Civil engineers.

Placements: Placement for Civil engineering is not so good, hardly one or two companies for Civil engineering visit the college. Most of the time you have to take placement from IT companies. If your priority is to take placement from college then look for another college. If you interested in IT and Computer sector then you can think about this college because this branch has the highest percentage of students who gets placement every year.

Just furnished from outside, nothing inside!

Placements: Placement is very poor, all Sinhgad engineering colleges participate in placement at one place. Mega recruitment companies usually come for the recruitment. They don't care about students. Once you placed in one company, you won't be able to participate in other placement activities. Politics happen in placement activity.

The college has an average placement, good faculty, and the best infrastructure and events.

Placements: As the Pune is IT-Hub, the placements of mechanical are not good compared with the IT and computer branch. Only, 40% of the students get placed. Less than 10% of the students get the internship from the college. The highest package was 12 LPA, the average was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest was 1.8 LPA.

Sinhgad College of Engineering review.

Placements: The placements are good. Actually, there are three on this campus. So, there is a combined placement for all these colleges, but it does not effect too much. It is best for those who are doing B.Tech with computer science, and for other branches, it's average. The environment for the study is also good.

Good campus life but disappointing academics and teaching style.

Placements: Placements are good for the students of computer and IT. But Placements for civil engineering students are very less as goes nil. Only 3 to 4 students got placed in civil engineering in my batch. But if you are looking for a job related to computer and IT, then you can go for it. But still, placements are not good as other top institutes in Pune like PICT and COEP. Very few companies related to civil visited the campus for placements. The college did not provide internships nor it was promoted. ...

Placements: About 30-40% of the students from E&TC got placed in the year 2020. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3.25 LPA and the average salary package offered this year is 4 LPA. Accenture, Cognizant, Birlasoft, Infosys, TCS and Capgemini are among the top recruiters this year. Less than 10% of the students got internships, and a maximum of them was off-campus. Placements: Sinhgad College of Engineering is quite good at placement. MNC companies are also visiting the college for the recruitment of all the branches. Mechanical has few limited companies, but other departments and IT sector have good in numbers. But the salary package offered is average.
