The college is nice with decent infrastructure, experienced faculty and the hostel is safe and secure. However, the hostel is not maintained in terms of cleanliness. The location is with greenery all around, and on the Mumbai-Pune highway. The college has poor Wi-Fi facility and has very strict rules and regulations. I would recommend this college to the students.

This is best college of engineering for students. But some teachers are not eligible to give you practical knowledge. The campus is huge. This college provides value for your money. And another main thing is that this college lies in Pune University which is better for placement.

Quality education in a standard institution at low cost.

Placements: In Sinhgad Engineering College, every year so many companies take placement drives. If a student is having an aggregate of more than 60% throughout (addition of all semester percentage divided by no. of semesters) and good communication and aptitude skills, those students easily selected in MNC placement drives. Accenture, Persistent, Cognizant, Infosys hire students every year from Sinhgad Institutes. Sinhgad Institutes have 10 engineering colleges. All engineering colleges' placement drive is...

A very good and student-friendly campus, it is one of the best colleges in Pune. The placement is quite good. I myself got placed in Accenture this year with a package of 3.4 lakhs. It contains all branches of engineering with nice faculty members and gives ultimate exposure to students with on and off-campus facilities.

Upside: 1.) Being a private college, the fee structure is just as same as other colleges in Pune. 2.) The Sinhgad brand provides for quite some opportunities throughout the college life. 3.) The location of the campus is a bit disappointing, But, the campus, classrooms, faculty team and the facilities are great. 4.) Fests are there, though main events occur at Vadgaon campus. The placement opportunities are above average. Downside: 1.)The college has a limited availability for a boys' hostel com...

Pros: The college has an awesome environment. There are good hostels and placements for computer science & IT students. The faculty is very co-operative, and attendance is not mandatory, Lonavala is 5 km away from beautiful places for hangout and has nice cricket and football grounds. The canteen food is good, and teachers cover full syllabus. Cons: It is difficult for students to daily travel to college. The climate usually results in heavy rains. The mess food is very bad and sometimes we h...

The atmosphere is excellent and so is the brand name of SINHGAD. The faculty team here is helpful, but the crowd is not that good. If you want a placement, there are lots of campus drives conducted, but you have to impress them anyhow. As you step out of the campus gate, you are welcomed by a village. Plus the transportation here is very costly. But, there are lots of places to hangout here.

A good campus that is situated on a hill and hence has a fresh environment, away from pollution of city and crowd. It is also cheaper than other engineering colleges of the same university. Teaching is good enough and practical knowledge is properly given so that students get the perfect direction. Specially provided question banks and study material make a big difference. Sinhgad is a big brand name and hence many companies visit the campus and most of the eligible candidates are handed jobs by...

This college is good in terms of teaching and the campus is excellent. It is one of the best campuses in Pune and Maharashtra. The campus is located in Pune, just adjacent to NH4. But, the travelling is a bit of a problem as limited number of public transport buses are available from the main locations. Hence, it is the best if you stay near to the college or have a bike for commuting.

A decent college. Great campus good, Faculty members teach good stuff. Campus placement is also great. Other campus facilities are also good according to the needs of the students. Principal of the college is fantastic. Just to inform that the administrative block is very helpful during the admission process. No carelessness is shown by the officials there at the time of admission.

One of the finest engineering colleges in Pune when it comes to academics and co-curricular activities. The campus is 100 acres huge and is really beautiful with many cool places to hangout. Moreover the E&TC branch is highly renowned because of its placement records and experienced faculty members. The only negativity of this college is lack of holidays, which is a huge setback for the outsiders. Anyway the ambiance of the college is too good for you to flunk and have vacations.

It is one of the Best College in Pune for Engineering. It has great infrastructure and campus. Hostels are well maintained and spacious. Faculty members are good, many of them are masters of their subject, although some do not know what they are teaching. Overall, I would say, the combination is at positive side. Curriculum is well designed. Also the most important thing is placements. You will get sufficient chance to prove yourself, even average students get placed easily .Huge campus drive is...

The college has a good campus, one of the best in Pune. Talking of education quality it is not good enough. Poorly qualified staff members except for mechanical, biotech and production engineering. Average placement is 3-4 lac per annum. Microsoft and NVidia are the highest paying companies that visit the campus. 60-70% placement record. No extracurricular activities except college fest. Not good for overall personality development. Though the English Club of the college is the best society in t...

Hostel facilities are best one in Pune. There are wide options of good quality canteens. Campus life is awesome as there is no pressure of attendance and many cultural events keep you refreshing. There is no proper practical knowledge given in college. Placements are good. Mostly IT companies visit here.

It's the best college but only issue is placement, because every student does not get placed. Location is good, crowd of this college is nice. Sinhgad is a brand today. Faculty is good but they are not experienced teachers but overall, college is the best. There are 3 colleges in our vadgaon campus, SCOE SKN and NBN.

I have completed my B.E from Sinhgad College of engineering. This college is one of the best college if you want to pursue a career in engineering in Pune. Particularly, the institute’s Information Technology and Computer Science departments are among the best in the Maharashtra in placements. College is outside of Pune on a hill so scenic beauty of this campus is superb. There are lots of activities for overall personality development of an individual like Apart, Robotics, Excellsor. Strong and influential Training and Placement Cell. Many big companies are under their reach. 3. One of the best campuses in the country. A big cricket ground just adds to the beauty of the infrastructure. 4. Proper amenities available. Laundry, ATMs, Bank, Restaurants available in the campus. Although the college is called the main branch of BE engineering of Sinhagad Institutes, it is not the truth. Faculty is good but not up to the mark. Campus is awesome. Placements are average. Good thing about this college is that there is less pressure on the students to score as compared to other Sinhagad Engineering Colleges and the co-curricular and extracurricular activities boost the overall development.
