The All-in-One Review of My College.
Placements: 70% were placed. The highest package was approximately 6.5 Lacs per annum, while the lowest was 2.5 Lacs per annum. The top companies were PWC, Deloitte, Kalyani Bharat Forge, and Flipkart. Around 60-65% of students got internships in various companies like BSE, Glenmark, etc. Basically, the top roles offered were tax consultant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure has improved as before, and smart projectors in the classroom, well-maintained labs, but the canteen here is of poor quality and the food quality is average. Instead, the cafe and messages around the campus are quite good, and all the other eat-bites are available .
Faculty: The faculty are well supportive and highly knowledgeable. They are good at making difficult concepts easy to understand. The extra lectures provided are good for making students ready to face interviews and get placed in good companies with the required skills.
Other: The MBA program qualifies us for good positions in well-established companies, as well as helps with our own startups. The events and extracurricular activities are next level on this campus.

Review of SIOM - Sinhgad Institute of Management.
Placements: Sinhgad was one of the best institutes of my time in 2019. It was awarded the most placements. Zenser Technologies, IDC Technologies, Bajaj Finserv, Aditya Birla, Reliance Finance, and Au Small Bank are coming to college to find future HR for their organizations. I personally attended 12 interviews after selecting a company for which I wanted to go for a higher package. Salary package offers CTC of 5.0 lacs on average, with the lowest being 3.0 lacs. The college only allows me to do an online internship, which I did at the YBI Foundation. There are many roles offered, such as human resources executive and associate HR.
Infrastructure: I like the college campus and infrastructure because they are simple. The library houses management textbooks, reference books, newspapers, and historical novels, all of which must be returned or renewed within the time frame specified. The college has Wi-Fi but connectivity is more in the library and lab, and campus coverage is less. Classrooms have many windows and good air circulation and they are in college. I did not stay in a hostel; I stayed in PG. My senior advised me to stay in PG to save some money and have good food so I did. I don't know but I think there is no medical facility in college. Many games—dance, sports, singing, and indoor games—are played in the annual month.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable but expect to teach something more than books. Industrial exposure and practical training are very limited. Teachers are most experienced; many teachers are now of age. SPPU does not allow students to modify course or academic calendars, so college is restricted. We need to agree that the SPPU syllabus is in depth and exams are tough compared to other universities like Dbatu. Semester exam are conducted as per SPPU in 2019 and 2020 exams are conducted in online mode MCQ questions ask 60 questions for one subject.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and very bad placement.
Placements: SIOM placed only 5% of their students. The highest package is 6 LPA; only 5 students get this. NICE is the top recruiting company. Networking and quality assurance are the top roles offered. No good company will come to this college. Very bad college for placement; no teachers or professors are good. Time and money are wasted here.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for the college student. The hostel facility is good for batch hot water and fresh water is available for drinking. The messaging system is good. It provides two meals per day at 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., which are both satisfactory. The hostel provides us with space for four students. Beds are good; 4 tables and 4 racks are provided by the hostel. The cleaner cleans your room every 3 days, and the cleaning is good. The strength of the student is good.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, and many teachers are not. Teaching quality is bad. You prepare yourself for the exam and placement. It is not really preparing you for industry. The semester exam is easy; you only have to read the previous year's paper for a passing score. Some faculty are good at helping you pass the exam and get ready for placement. The total number of marks is 70; you have to score a minimum .
Other: The MCA course is good for you because a lot of opportunities are available. Web development MEARN is in demand; Spring Boot Java, Django Python, and PHP are in demand; DSA is very important for a 4- to 5-year project.

Need to Regain its legacy as a best ROI college.
Placements: Before 2022 college placement is excellent, but after the pandemic, placement got worse. Some students even accepted a job in call centers, situation is too bad. Only 50–60% of students passout from campus got job in which 30% got good job and the remaining are not even related to our field. Aditya Birla, Tata, L&T, Adani are important hiring companies. The lowest package is 1.8 LPA and the highest package is 7.9 LPA, college not give permission to do an internship during academic studies.
Infrastructure: Sinhgad campus and building are simple white colors building. Apart from Sinhgad Karandak, there are no such events or industrial trips organized by management. We have good library, which have comfortable benches to seat 150 students. College Wi-Fi is very slow; no one uses it, We have hostel from college side they gave us a B.Ed. fan, RO water, hot water, charging socket, etc. Messy, separate food is not good; it is like messy food so quality is lower. college canteen is always filled with people, and food is also good.
Faculty: The best part of Sinhgad is that their teachers are more than mentors; they are like big brothers. In any failure of an interview or exam, they support us and prepare us for the upcoming situation; they are the best faculty. The MBA course is offered by Pune University, which conducts exams, decides the academic calendar and syllabus. Yes, course, make students industry-ready. Passing is not difficult if you are regular in lectures and your skills are easily passed.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2022

Best ROI, teaching, and college life.
Placements: In our 2022 batch, there are opportunities in mass numbers, and big IT firms are hiring on a large scale. 90% of the students in our batch got placed and the remaining 10% started their own businesses. They give a 3.8 lac package. Big firms like Amazon, Infocentre, Microsoft, Google, and Accenture hire many students from our institute. The average package is 4.5 lacs; internships are given but all students preferred jobs over internships. Roles offered are consultant, software developer, and analyst.
Infrastructure: The campus isn't big but there are many clubs and activities going on on campus. The campus has free Wi-Fi so students can learn online. The library is good; any student can take books by just showing their ID card. Sinhgad hostel is very big; we have to share rooms with friends. 3 students get one room with 3 beds, 1 fan, 2 tables, and 3 cupboards. Hostel food is disappointing; it is not good in quality or quantity. Canteen food is good but expensive; tea and breakfast (idli, dosa, samosas, patties) are on the menu.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and I like to thank alumni and senior students. Alumni are very helpful; they give guidance on face placement, even referring us to there organization. Teachers are Ph.D.-qualified. SPPU Pune University is deciding on our academic calendar, syllabus and exam. The best syllabus has ML, Ai and deep learning technologies that are the future of the digital world. Semester exams are hard, but 80% of students are all clear every semester.
Other: The fee is affordable at 90,000 for two years and caste students get benefits. Open panjabrao and EBS is given.

Not satisfied with placement.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities. Remember, only 6 companies conduct on-campus hiring on our campus, of which 13 students out of 60 got placed. Some are even placed in service desk roles. Cognizant, Reliance Jio, Aloha Technologies, TCS (off campus), and a few more are coming for campus drives. No internship package is from 3 lac to 6.5 lac per year.
Infrastructure: I do not like campus, like here students get frustrated by lectures and assignments; they have not organized any visits or trips. The college infrastructure is decent, but some benches are broken. Wi-Fi speed was too low no interest to use it. Library is decent; they have all the books. The hostel is bad; the rooms are small, the food is very bad, and no proper cleaning got done. The canteen food was good; they have AC. Sports ground is big, but there are no sports activities.
Faculty: Teachers schedule lectures according to their mood and do not follow the academic calendar of the university. Even management changed the class test date at the last moment. In every event, there is no coordination in management. The course teaches old technologies that are not even used today. They need to change the whole curriculum. Semester exams are held twice a year, in the summer and winter.
