Review of SIOM - Sinhgad Institute of Management.

Placements: Last year placements were good but this year, poor placements. In my batch, 15 students are placed by college, 7 students secure jobs from off-campus. College adds them to the placed list. But more students remain jobless, this is very frustrating. The average package they offer is 3.5 LPA. Internships are given, but they terminate many students after completion of the period. Horrible situation.

Not satisfied with placement.

Placements: There are no placement opportunities. Remember, only 6 companies conduct on-campus hiring on our campus, of which 13 students out of 60 got placed. Some are even placed in service desk roles. Cognizant, Reliance Jio, Aloha Technologies, TCS (off campus), and a few more are coming for campus drives. No internship package is from 3 lac to 6.5 lac per year.

Reality of Sinhgad institute of management.

Placements: To be honest, my placement experience was not good. Top students in every college get placement but average students find it very difficult to be placed. Our college provides an average package of 3.5 LPA, which is very difficult. In four rounds of hiring, I give my best but am rejected in the fourth round, which is very heartbreaking for me. Later, it was realized that not one student got a job in that organization; they only conducted tests and interviews. No internship is given.

Review of SIOM - Sinhgad Institute of Management.

Placements: College should bring more companies for placement after completing Masters and still not getting a job is a very scary situation. 40% of students are placed, in which only 10 to 15 percentage of students are placed in good companies, others have very less package. Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Aloha Technologies are recruiters. Internships are useless, unpaid, and project-based internships are given. Package is 4 LPA.

Disappointing Placement Record.

Placements: The placement is just average in SIOM, vadgaon for MCA course specifically. However MBA placement ratio is good. This year merely 25-30% students got placed with an avg package of 3-4 LPA. No MNC's appeared for placements still some good small scale and startups had showed up. The internship ratio was too low, roughly 10%. The top role offered was Development associate, and Assistant Developer.

Faculty is good and supportive. They guide you properly for the placements.

Placements: My batch was 2020-2022 MBA and my specialisation was marketing and percentage of student placed in Sinhgad institute of management is 75 percent for an marketing specialisation and the highest package offer was around 8 lac and average is 4 lac and top recruiting companies are ICICI, Deloitte, PWC and HDFC, asian paint etc. And almost 90 percentage of student gets internship from marketing and companies are growth arrow, Flipkart etc.

I wish that our college should work on its placement process.

Placements: Nearly 45% of the students got placed in the year 2019, so there is a need to improve the placements. The placement cell should focus and be selective on companies visiting the campus priorly so that a huge number of students can get a chance to get placed in good organisations.

Placements are not satisfactory. All specialisations ain't provided with opportunities.

Placements: My batch was 2017-19. the lowest package offered of our batch was 1.8 Lacs per annum and the highest package To my knowledge was 4.5 Lacs (for marketing specialisation). Top recruiting companies were DHL (for operations specialisation), Deloitte (for finance specialisation) and OYO (for marketing specialisation). Many startups and small companies offered summer internships for the roles of customer service, sales and marketing interns, finance interns etc. Though placements are not as per expect...

Review of SIOM - Sinhgad Institute of Management.

Placements: In our batch, many students did not get placed. The reputation of our college was dented because of a tussle between faculty members and higher management in 2018. Before that, the highest salary package offered was 13 LPA in the marketing field in previous years.

Decent college with a great campus life.

Placements: College is providing average placement. Few top companies used to come to the campus. The average package that college is providing through placement is around 3 Lacs. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. used to come for placement. But the percentage of placement is average in college.

There are many opportunities to grab on the campus.

Placements: Placements are good in our college, but mostly marketing students get placements. The number of companies for marketing students are higher than other stream students. But overall placements are good in college. Many companies came for internship programs on the campus.

I had a good 2 years of my postgraduation in this college.

Placements: There is a special placement cell in our college named SIOM placement cell, which forwards mails related to companies which are interested in hiring students through both on-campus and off-campus placements. The salary offered by the companies was decent, but not very bad. But you should have the skills also. Everything was good and convenient inside the campus.

An average college with good infrastructure.

Placements: As the teachers were on strike for a couple of months this year, it was assumed that it would affect the placements also, but it did not affect the placements at all. The central placement cell, as well as SIOM placement cell, invited many good companies that provide good packages to students. Also, internships are offered through college as the SIP starts. Almost 75% of students in my batch got internships from the college.

Satisfied with the college as it has good faculty, placements, and infrastructure.

Placements: Every year, almost 400 companies visit the college for placements in which half of them are marketing companies, and the rest are finance, HR, IT, operations, etc. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Every year, nearly 600 students take admission in this college in which half of them go for the marketing specialisation and the rest for others. Proportionally, half of the total number of companies visit the college for marketing and offer a good salary package and the rest of the compan...

Sinhgad Institute of management Review.

Placements: Placement of SIOM is very good, as most of the students from our batch are placed. Marketing has a great scope for placements. College environment is also good. Finance, operations, IB, other placements are less compared to marketing. Various MNCs such as ITC, ROCHE, SaintGobain, etc. Comes for placements. All big brands and startups.

Anpatil review. Of Sinhgad institute of management.

Placements: Sinhagad is that college which is famous for its placements, but as I was doing MBA in operations, I got very few genuine chances. Placement are good for marketing. Very bad for IB, Finance specialised people. For operations people we get approximately 2 companies per month.

Studying in Sinhgad Institute of Management will give you good exposure and get the best out of you.

Placements: Sinhgad college has centralised placement. Placement is good especially for Marketing branch and to some extent for finance. But placements for Operations, HR and IB are comparatively very less. Avergae package is around 3 Lacs pa. Companies coming for the campus placement includes MNC's, FMCG's, medium and small scale companies. Few startups also visits the campus. For internship too the above mentioned companies come to college. Almost all the students get selected for the internship except fo...

The college is absolutely good for management.

Placements: In 2016 and 2017 at Sinhgad College, 70% of the students were placed. Now in 2018, almost 60% of the students are placed. In the college, a number of companies are visiting the campus for the placements, like Dominos, Sipla, Firstcry.com, Mahindra, Tata, TCS, Airtel, Jio, and Future Group.

Good to enjoy your college life but not for studies.

Placements: There is no any placement activity is happening for senior batch, but a little bit placement activity is done by placement cell for my batch. Only 20 to 25 percent of the students get placed. The highest salary is 4 Lacs, and the lowest salary is 1 Lac. There are only middle-scale companies visiting except Nvidia, PTS, and Accenture. The students play a vital role during the placement activity. 30% of the students get the internship. Almost every company offers free internship except three or co...
