Decent one, not so good college.

Placements: The placements are not so great. Most of the mass recruiter’s companies come for offering jobs. Good Companies come on campus very rarely. People do hard work on their own for securing good jobs from off-campus placements. Some teachers don't even allow for internships saying that internships are a wastage of time.

Good building, the worst mess.

Placements: The highest package offered in this college is around Rs 20-25 Lacs in it companies, you should have command of any language to grab this package. Mostly higher packages are grabbed by interns. The average package of CS and ECE is around Rs 5-6 lakh per annum. 98% is the placement rate.

Placement is quite good and this is the only reason to choose this college.

Placements: Placement is the only factor to choose this college. More than 95% students got placed every year. With good package. The highest package is around 12 lacs and the average package is about 3 to 4 lacks per year. Many companies came hear to select students.

Placement is average, faculty is also average and infrastructure is below average.

Placements: In SMVIT CS IT, ECE and even the core branch students got placed in IT company on an average package of 4to4.50 lack per annum. If u r coming for mechanical and civil then don't come. Amazon came last year took 2 or 3 students. Pega system, Infosys and some mass recruiter come to this college.18 lack is the highest package in this college.

Sir M Visvesvaraya is top 2 college of VTU.

It is a good college for placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. In previous years almost every student got placed in this college. But now comparatively it has become less, but college has its reputation. The highest salary package offered is around 21 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. There is a placement cell. College does not support internships as they don't give leave for 1 or 2 months which is the required time for internships.

The college is good, but the infrastructure is the worst.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good, and it depends on our talent. Good companies visit our campus for placements, and almost many students get placed. The placement officer invites awesome companies, but it depends only on our talent and academic results. Companies like IBM, Wipro, and many more visit our college for placements.

I would rate 3.4 out of 5 for college. The CS and IT departments are very good.

Placements: I don't know much about placements. Usually, Amazon offers the highest salary package that ranges between 14-16 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Most of them visit the campus are service-based or software companies. Core companies hardly visit and select some students. College is hardly bothered about internships.
