Review of Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology.

Placements: Around 80% of the students get placed with a maximum salary package of 25 LPA. Top companies that visit college are TCS, Musigma, Mahindra. The top roles offered were nothing much. The MBA faculty is also well trained in my college. The average package in my college was around 4-5 LPA which is pretty good for any college.

Review of Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology.

Placements: I am in the third year, and until now placements for telecom are good after CS. In 2018, the highest salary package was offered to a mechanical student, i.e., 27 LPA, and that was through off-campus. This college has a good reputation in Karnataka just because of its placement, especially because of our reputed placement officer. I would rate 8.1 out of 10 for placements.

Placements in college are good, but the infrastructure is average.

Placements: The placement record for the academic year 2018-19 has been better than the previous two batches. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA, and it was offered by MicroFocus for computer science branch. Major companies like IBM, Mu Sigma, Bosch, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Global Techmakers, Kirusa Tech, etc., are visiting the campus for placements. Core companies like Sprinklr and Bosch offered a salary package of 7-10 LPA for ECE students. Acce...

The college has a huge campus, fairly good placements and provides an enjoyable college life.

Placements: Mostly IT companies visit our college and a few core companies for placements. The placement cell is quite active and is now trying hard to invite core companies. The average salary package offered is about 5 to 6 LPA, and I heard that the highest salary package offered is about 21 LPA. Companies like Dell, Tata, Wipro, Accenture, HP and Amazon visit our college regularly for placements.

Sir MVIT is a good college.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good in comparison to other universities. As it's an affiliated college, it holds some value so that the companies show interest in affiliated universities. Placements are better for CS, IT and ECE branches, but they are good for other branches as well.

This college is known for placements.

Placements: This college is known mainly for placements. The placement record for our batch was good but was less when compared to our senior batch. The reason being, only a few companies from the IT field, have visited the campus to hire the students of our batch when compared to our senior batch. This year, the main recruiter was Accenture. Even the core companies of all branches except for the biotechnology department visit our college.

Dissatisfied with my college. It's a waste of money and time. It has bad placements and faculty.

Placements: The placements were good for computer science and information science branches, but the placements were not good for other branches like EEE, civil and mechanical. Not even a single core company came to the college. If any core company comes to the college, it is for the IT sector only. Around 85% of the students got placed in the previous year. Our college started offering internships for students from this year. Around 30% of students got internships through the college. There is a placement c...

Placements in our college are above average, but most of the students get placed in IT companies.

Placements: The placements for Biotech branch were above average. 40 out of every 50 students got placed in the last few years. The average package offered ranges between 2-3 LPA. Companies like SynGen visit the campus to offer placements. Internships need to be arranged by the students themselves.

As per me our college is well-equipped, vast, highly infrastructural, high quality campus.

Placements: Maximum every student will place with maximum of (34-24)lacks and minimum of (3-4)lacks of salary. Core companies like botch, accenture, babaj, wipro etc. As we have so many clubs, vast campus, infrastructure, excellent facaulity, lots of co-culcular activities etc. Many companies will be attracted to our college. In addition to this many students will do internships, projects etc. Of course we have very efficient and effective placement cell with lot of committees.

Review of Sir MVIT, Bangalore.

Placements: The placements for the CS IS and EC departments are excellent. Mechanical, Civil and other branches do not have similar results though. The average placements in the college are at 6-6.5 Lacs PA. The placement department provides extensive guidance in the whole process of getting a decent job. There are number of dream companies that visit the campus too which is a plus.

An average college with good placements.

Placements: The average placement package is about 5-6 lacs per annum. The highest package offered was 24 lacs per annum by Amazon India. The lowest packages offered were around 5 lacs per annum by a sales-oriented company. In the previous year, the placement percentage was 85%. Some of the companies that visited our college are Dell, HP, Amazon, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, L&T and many more. Our college has a training and placement cell. It is very much useful as the training and placement team keeps us updated...

Absolutely unsatisfied from the placement offered by the college.

Placements: For CSE and ISE the placements are good but for the core branches like EEE, Mechanical, civil it's worse. A few core companies comes to offer job. The core branch people generally gets selected in IT companies. For EEE only 32 out to 140 got placed that too in IT sector. The avg salary offered was around 3 lacs p. a. Absolutely satisfied being here and got a chance to learn here.

Placements: Placements are very good by top MNCs like wipro, cognizant, hp, Accenture, etc. Our seniors got placements in Accenture last year. The highest salary package was 8p. A and the lowest was 3.25 p. a. Most of the company's offer software developer role. There is a placement cell which provides updates and training about placements to students.

Sir MVIT college is a brilliant college because of faculty, placement.

Placements: The placement of our batch was good and previous batch placement also good. Almost 90% of the students got placed and the highest salary package around 21 Lacs and minimum around 3 Lacs. So companies visited like Accenture, wipro, Tcs. They offered software engineer role.

Placements: In our branch placement is 100%. And most of people get it in same field. But in other branch like mech they don't get in core branch placement. Min salary 2.5 Lacs per annum max 14.7 Lacs per annum (Amazon). Companies like TCS, vipro, accentuate, etc. Are coming every year.

Sir MVIT is a reputed institute with decent infrastructure, good faculty good placements.

Placements: The placements for the computer Science department are very good with 100% of the students getting placed, and some of them being placed in the top companies with high packages. The placements in the ECE and IS depts are decent as well as most of the deserving candidates get placed. With regard to the mechanical and civil departments, the candidates have to struggle a lot to secure a job position. The highest package recorded was 24 Lacs by De Shaw Software.

An average college in terms of everything.

Placements: Good placements are available for those who are in CS IS, EC branches. For rest, it's average. For mechanical, it is a bit harder as core companies that visit the college are few in number. Overall, I can say that its placements are well enough. Under VTU, there is no more chance of getting placed when compared to other autonomous colleges in this level.

Placements: If you are looking for placement in core company in mechanical engineering through sir Mvit then you must give a second thought Overall placement of sir Mvit is quite famous in Bangalore because of the link of placement Coordinator head with various companies but most of them are IT companies or related to that You get avg. Package of 4-5 Lacs p. a if you are from ( CS IS, ECE) this three branch will definitely get foot package but when it comes to Mechanical Engineering about half of the stude...

Really good placements but teachers won't be useful.

Placements: We have a decent placement at SMVIT. For computer science branch, we have around 90% placement guaranteed with the highest package being around 15-16 LPA offered by Amazon. However this year Amazon didn't come, so the highest package was just 11 LPA offered by HSBC. The post offered by various companies vary greatly depending on their package and type of companies. Service-based companies like Accenture, Wipro offers technical consultant or associate software engineers whereas product based comp...

This college is the best for CS, IS, EC & civil. I prefer BMSIT to MVIT for telecommunications.

Placements: Mr Khan, the placements and training head of the college gives training to the students according to the demands of the professional world. He has maintained a good reputation for placements since a decade and known for his good relationship with recruiting companies. Telecommunications department did great in placements in the year 2017-18, with most of them in the class having an offer letter in their hands. Accenture and Wipro are the mass recruiting firms. Package ranges from 3.5 LPA to 10 L...
