Placements in college are good, but the infrastructure is average.

Placements: The placement record for the academic year 2018-19 has been better than the previous two batches. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA, and it was offered by MicroFocus for computer science branch. Major companies like IBM, Mu Sigma, Bosch, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Global Techmakers, Kirusa Tech, etc., are visiting the campus for placements. Core companies like Sprinklr and Bosch offered a salary package of 7-10 LPA for ECE students. Acce...

This college is only good for CS, IT and ECE branches.

Placements: Compared to the previous batch, the placement percentage of our college has decreased this year. TCS, which is the mass recruiter, didn't conduct any placement drive in the college this year. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA. Students can expect only IT-related jobs. Core companies rarely visit the college to offer placements. Branches like CS and IT might have 100% placements.

The college has a huge campus, fairly good placements and provides an enjoyable college life.

Placements: Mostly IT companies visit our college and a few core companies for placements. The placement cell is quite active and is now trying hard to invite core companies. The average salary package offered is about 5 to 6 LPA, and I heard that the highest salary package offered is about 21 LPA. Companies like Dell, Tata, Wipro, Accenture, HP and Amazon visit our college regularly for placements.

Sir MVIT is a good college.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good in comparison to other universities. As it's an affiliated college, it holds some value so that the companies show interest in affiliated universities. Placements are better for CS, IT and ECE branches, but they are good for other branches as well.

My two years of experience in MVIT.

Placements: Placements for the students of CSE department are decent. We get a lot of companies, but it depends on how the students perform. For other branches, the placements are very bad. Hardly, 50% of the students of other departments got placed in the college placements. Till now, the highest package offered to the CSE students was 11 LPA, and the average salary offered was 3.5 LPA. For mechanical students, the highest salary offered was 7 LPA, and the average salary offered was 3 LPA. Not many core co...

This college is known for placements.

Placements: This college is known mainly for placements. The placement record for our batch was good but was less when compared to our senior batch. The reason being, only a few companies from the IT field, have visited the campus to hire the students of our batch when compared to our senior batch. This year, the main recruiter was Accenture. Even the core companies of all branches except for the biotechnology department visit our college.

Not happy about being an alumni of my college.

Placements: This college is better known for its placements than the education. Most people were offered jobs by mass recruiters. However, better companies can visit. During my year, the highest salary offered was 12LPA, which was offered only to computer Science department. The lowest offered salary was 2.8LPA College/placement cell does not offer any assistance towards internships.

Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology is one of the good colleges in Bangalore.

Placements: Placements are amazing as almost all the students get placed on campus. There are high placement chances for CS, IT, EC and mechanical branches, but are less for civil. The highest package offered was 31 LPA, last year. Some reputed companies visited our college offering the package around 30 LPA and 16 LPA. Almost 90% of the students get placed.

Dissatisfied with my college. It's a waste of money and time. It has bad placements and faculty.

Placements: The placements were good for computer science and information science branches, but the placements were not good for other branches like EEE, civil and mechanical. Not even a single core company came to the college. If any core company comes to the college, it is for the IT sector only. Around 85% of the students got placed in the previous year. Our college started offering internships for students from this year. Around 30% of students got internships through the college. There is a placement c...

Placements in our college are above average, but most of the students get placed in IT companies.

Placements: The placements for Biotech branch were above average. 40 out of every 50 students got placed in the last few years. The average package offered ranges between 2-3 LPA. Companies like SynGen visit the campus to offer placements. Internships need to be arranged by the students themselves.

As per me our college is well-equipped, vast, highly infrastructural, high quality campus.

Placements: Maximum every student will place with maximum of (34-24)lacks and minimum of (3-4)lacks of salary. Core companies like botch, accenture, babaj, wipro etc. As we have so many clubs, vast campus, infrastructure, excellent facaulity, lots of co-culcular activities etc. Many companies will be attracted to our college. In addition to this many students will do internships, projects etc. Of course we have very efficient and effective placement cell with lot of committees.

Placements: Placements in our college is near to 100%. Students here get an average package of 6 lacs per annum. The highest package of our college from CSE and ISE is 31 lacs. Placements of ECE is also moderate and the highest package was 15 lacs. Many top rated companies visit our college every year such as Amazon, Flipkart, Dell, HP etc.

Review of Sir MVIT, Bangalore.

Placements: The placements for the CS IS and EC departments are excellent. Mechanical, Civil and other branches do not have similar results though. The average placements in the college are at 6-6.5 Lacs PA. The placement department provides extensive guidance in the whole process of getting a decent job. There are number of dream companies that visit the campus too which is a plus.

Satisfied with faculty. Good placements, good facilities and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements in our college were good. Mostly, the students from CSE, ECE and ISE got selected in placements compared to civil, mechanical and electrical departments. For our senior batch, the placements were good. The highest salary offered was 14 LPA, and the lowest will be depending on student skills and company, and it will be nearly Rs. 40,000 per month. The companies like Amazon, Wipro, Samsung, Intel and many other companies visit our college. They offer the programming skills and codin...

Placements: The average placement package is about 5-6 lacs per annum. The highest package offered was 24 lacs per annum by Amazon India. The lowest packages offered were around 5 lacs per annum by a sales-oriented company. In the previous year, the placement percentage was 85%. Some of the companies that visited our college are Dell, HP, Amazon, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, L&T and many more. Our college has a training and placement cell. Sir MVIT review from a average student.

Placements: Average. Most of the companies which come offer IT jobs. Irrespective of your branch. Good amount of people with above 60% marks without year back got placed but in IT only. Mechanical and civel people face a lot of problem. Core companies don't visit, good placements for people in computer Science.

Placements: For CSE and ISE the placements are good but for the core branches like EEE, Mechanical, civil it's worse. A few core companies comes to offer job. The core branch people generally gets selected in IT companies. For EEE only 32 out to 140 got placed that too in IT sector. The avg salary offered was around 3 lacs p. a. Placements: Placements are very good by top MNCs like wipro, cognizant, hp, Accenture, etc. Our seniors got placements in Accenture last year. The highest salary package was 8p. A and the lowest was 3.25 p. a. Most of the company's offer software developer role. There is a placement cell which provides updates and training about placements to students.

A good atmosphere, but placement is very hard.

Placements: Placements are normal, and it depends on your hard work. Teaching is good, and location of the college is outside the city; so there is no noise disturbance. There are good grounds to play, and the climate is also nice. Hostel facilities are good, but the food is not good. The fee is much less than the other colleges.

Placements: If you are looking for a good college and want a bright future, then go ahead with this college. Do not get tensed about placements, you will be recruited if you have an average academic record also. You will also get higher packages if you have good technical skills.
