Placements: Sir MVIT is famous for its placements only and a number of companies visited the campus. In 2015, a batch of about 90% of the students was placed in total, with a few students bagging up to 4/5 offers. But most of the students only get a package of 3 to 3.5 lakhs. The higher package companies are fewer at around 10/15, and these companies only select a few students at around 3-4 each. The highest package was offered by Amazon at around 14 lakhs, and it only 1 or 2 students who are placed in it e...
Our college is one of the top colleges in India. It has great facilities and really good teachers who are well-qualified and are dedicated. The placements set a record every year in this college with more than 50% students having more than one offer in hand which is excellent.
The college is situated far from the hustle and bustle of the city and has a huge campus. It is convenient in terms of accommodation and food options [be it Hostel or otherwise]. Lots of facilities are available in terms of sports both indoor and outdoor. The college has amazing placements and teaching standards range from average to good [changes from branch to branch]. Academic infrastructure can be improved.
As per my point of view, I see a good faculty to guide us to a good level .The faculty members are good and well prepared for the classes. We can have discussions on off-period. The building structure is average. The labs are well equipped with sufficient lab equipment needed for students( only some lab experiment we perform last because the equipment was not in good condition). Recently in this semester 5-6 new equipment have arrived such as variable resistor, one inductor, one signal generato...
Good Biggest campus within the Bangalore region, teaching staffs are good especially biotechnology branch, sports facilities are best, Last but not the least place to watch the air show. Bad Fests or any other cultural programmes stop after evening(7 pm) proper security should be provided by the managing committee to ensure programmes should run at least until 11 pm. Language barrier as it happens for most of the north Indian people. No wifi zone in campus we have to dental college to avail the ...
It provides good placement but study wise its average. It's away from city so transport problems are there. Placement is good for cs branch. Only few core companies visit the collage for campus. And for sports in collage there are big grounds so sports facilities are good. The collage conducts very less functions or programs compare tool other collages. The teachers are well supportive.
Infrastructure and placements are good. Teaching staff is okay. Tuition fee, I feel is high for students. Classes are not interactive, teachers just stick to bookish knowledge, no proper lab knowledge is being imparted, and students are not encouraged to do internship or participate in tech quizzes or hackathons.
MVIT is undoubtedly one of best college in South of Bangalore. I took up mechanical engineering and the main aspect, which pulled me here was placements. Placements are pretty decent here, where most of them would be placed, well this again depends on current market situation. IT companies do flow in a lot, but hardly core companies visit. Faculty of mechanical department are not up to mark. Cafeteria was average, not sure whether they improved it. Library facilities are good. My final say- Go i...
This college is meant only for pure focused studies. Since the campus is away from the disturbance of city traffic, it provides ambient atmosphere for studies Hostel is cheap but lacks some facilities. If you are taking CSE or ISE branch then this college is best for you as the placements in these 2 branches are really good.
1. Very good environment with lot of fun n joy. 2. Good opportunities to explore both in case of academics and talent. 3. Good placement opportunities. 4. Excellent Library and hostel facilities. 5. Very good sports and gym facilities with well-maintained indoor and outdoor stadiums.
College is really good if you want to get placed after four years then this is the college you are looking for. The college has biggest campus of all the colleges in Bangalore. The faculty is good and helpful. It has the 5th rank out of all engineering colleges of Karnataka..
Big campus but underdeveloped. Some of the faculty members are good but others are below average. Has a good cricket and football ground. Join if interested in sports but don’t expect support from the college. Lenient in terms of attendance if from CSE/ISE branch. Has no good eateries. The college is far away from the city. So forget good food in the vicinity.
It is one of the best colleges in Karnataka in terms of studies, extracurricular activities and placements. The faculty is very good. Placement is around 100%. The college infrastructure is great. It has big playgrounds, the best amenities in the hostel and well-equipped laboratories.
SMVIT, is a great college. Some of the faculty members are really good. The Placements are good in the IT sector. Few core companies come for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering streams. The Campus is quite big and the crowd is okay. You will find all kinds of people here. But the college is not so supportive if you want to do any projects. So don't really expect any monetary assistance from the college. There is a lot of options in the sports field too. Hostel is worth living. The food is go...
Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology having one of the largest campus in Bangalore of 140 acres and having 30 acres of sport complex. Good environment for study, teaching faculty are good but lack of Infrastructure and hostel food are not so good and Hostel Management Team are not friendly. Lack of campus facilities like drinking water, stationary shop, parking area. Need to improve canteen facilities and food quality, increase the number of coffee shop. Should improve the Library environ...
This college is located on the new international airport road. People commuting in BMTC bus will have to get down and walk about 1.5kms inside to reach the college campus or take an auto. BMTC Bus facility to college is very rare. If you are commuting in college bus or by your own vehicle, then no problem at all. It’s a very big campus and pretty old too. Placements are good and you get companies with a package of even 13L (only one person will be selected from CS/IS).
MVIT is an Institute of repute in the state of Karnataka. It is placed in top 10 colleges of Karnataka which is spread out in 133 acres of land. This college along with other colleges of Karnataka are for those students who are punctual i.e., those who can attend regularly. In almost all the colleges if you fall short by 75% attendance criterion-you will have to repeat the same year again. Teachers of this college are good and some are best but you have to work hard to get the best out of them....
Good in placements. Good environment. Greenery. Not tech savy. Good for joining if interested to go for work as the placement is good. Not at all a tech savy college. Entire college has full greenery. Environment around the campus is too good. Join only for placements.
Best college under VTU, stands among top 5 colleges in Karnataka. It has the biggest campus, much of study oriented rather than cultural and co-curricular. Known for placements. Hostels- Average. Worst campus selection for mechanical and civil engineering students. In terms of placement, definitely THE BEST College in Bangalore, and possibly the best in Karnataka as well. Maybe second only to NITK. Prof S.H. Khan (T&P Offr., Sir. MVIT) is one of the best people in the world, being able to bring ...
Sir MVIT for CSE is too good. Placement record is good, faculty members are good. Overall it’s pretty appropriate for an engineering aspirant. If you are interested in programming research they will provide you with platform but you should be more self-driven. I would like to recommend this college for pursuing graduation in CS and IS depts.
