For engineering, this one is the best. For masters, it is quite okay. Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: This college is one of the most reputed colleges in Karnataka. The placements are pretty good for engineering students. Around 80-90% of the students are placed every year in reputed companies like Amazon, Accenture, Mindtree, Wipro, and many other companies. For MCA and MBA, the placements are decent. About 50-60% of the students are selected in the campus drive. It is highly recommended for engineering courses.

The worst infrastructure, placement, with no exposure.

Placements: The placements are good if you are good in rote learning (memorising without learning) or in Hindi Ratta and can score good grades (It's very hard, seriously). Don't take branches other than CSE, ISE or ECE. Don't even dream of getting placed core company (there is only 1 student I have seen getting placed in a core, and it was because of his efforts and sources, not through campus placement). Don't believe everything you see on some random site. The average salary is 3-3.5 Lacs. (the lowest you...

So, at the end of 4 years, I am satisfied with the college. But not many share the same view.

Placements: Placements vary from year to year. Placement standards - 3.5/5 Above Average. (Not everyone will surely get a job. But a few will have 3+ offers) On an average 40 odd companies come here. Average package offered is 3.5 ~ 4 LPA High package offering companies take very less / no students. EC students will be allowed to sit for almost all the companies except for pure Computer Science based companies. If you're looking for a core EC job, then chances are very less and there's high competition. Adv...

Good Faculty and Placements.

Placements: The placements were average. 90% of the companies were mass recruiters and that is not really a bad thing. But, the problem with mass recruiters is that, the candidate has to wait for the joining date for a long time. Very few core companies ( for electronics) also had conducted drives and recruited few students.

Average placements in 2018.

Placements: The placements for our batch had fallen a lot and the highest package offered was 8 LPA. The lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA (You can't cover your daily expenses with this). The companies that visited our college was mostly service-based companies, and only some were product based. The roles offered were reasonable which were a junior software developer, testing position, support position and so on, and a very little percentage (around 5%) of people got internships either from the company the...

Reputed college with average placements, but this college is heading towards its downfall.

Placements: Placements in SMVIT are average, but you are sure to be placed in mass recruiting companies. However, not many core companies visit your college or any famous tech giant. In the following years of placements in SMVIT is to go down, and the overall college ranking will also drop. The maximum package here was around 8 LPA which was offered by HP, and the lowest was 3.3 LPA which was offered by Accenture. Here companies like Accenture, Wipro, Amazon, HP, and Ernest and young were prominent. Interns...

It's quite a good college. A lot of things can be learnt from here by you.

Placements: Many companies come for placements, and it is quite good here. The average package offered here is 3 LPA to 4 LPA, and many of the seniors here in our department got placements. Here, companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, IBM, Bosch, Continental, Accenture, etc., have visited our college, and many of the seniors here have got placed in it. Our placement coordinator is also helpful for the placements here.

This is an awesome place to learn with an eco-friendly atmosphere and the best faculty.

Placements: The placements are good in MVIT. The companies those who visit this college are also very good companies. You will get an opportunity to attend any number of companies of you are meeting the criteria. In our batch, out of 630 students, 595 students got placed. The package of the companies will be from 3 LPA to 12 LPA. Some of the companies are Bosch, Amazon, Society General, E and Y, Continental for EC, and the mass recruiters like Accenture.

Do not join MVIT. It is one of the worst colleges in Bangalore.

Placements: The placements are pretty good for people with an aggregate of 65%. Many opportunities are there, and this college allows multiple Companies options. CSE gets the most companies and hence a big opportunity for them. My advice is don't focus only on placements. Go for higher studies to abroad since the chances are big and better there.

Happy with faculty members, the infrastructure is okay, and awesome placements in 2016.

Placements: The placements of our college are decent. If you have the potential, then you will get placed for sure. To be on the length of the cream student, you have to study few courses like C+ in Bangalore as it is IT hub. If you know C+, you will get placed. The placement officer of this college is very nice, and I suggest you be in contact with him. The college brings well-reputed companies. Not even a single company which give the job to a student visit the college for placements. After a few months, ...

SiMVIT, Bengaluru Engineering College.

Placements: Overall, the placements are very good, but the plants for mechanical engineering is average. The placement is mainly focused on the IT industries. A lot of companies like Amazon, Mu Sigma, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, L&T, Infotech, Intel, and many more visit the college and are hiring a good number of students.

The placements and the infrastructure of the college are good.

Placements: The placements offered are good concerning the field you choose. I am a civil engineering student, and the placement cell of my college didn't help me much. I got offered IT jobs which were not useful to me, and no core companies came to our campus for placements. The placements are good if you are going for CS, IS or any other IT branch.

I feel ashame to study here as a mechanical student. Seriously, sometimes I feel like why did I.

Placements: The placement opportunities are not that good. The mechanical department is the worst in Sir MVIT. They wouldn't give the marks if you had any personal argument with the lecturers. They simply reduce your internal marks or else they will fail you in your lab externals especially XXX sir, and XXX and all the staff are like that only. If you're getting the admission in MVIT, then make sure you don't take the mechanical, please.

Placements: This college has got the good campus placements, especially in the computer science and information science engineering. The other branches also got the good placements, and it is better than the big colleges with the bad placements. The college is good with good placements, and in case of internships, it is nice.

Overall, the college is good. The faculty is good and well-educated, and the hostel is good.

Placements: In this college, the placements are good. For the mechanical or civil branch, the placement is not good. The average package is 4.5 LPA, and the highest is 16 LPA. If you're getting 7.5 CGPA every year, then you can get approximately 7 LPA as the package. The percentage of placement in this college is 99%.

Placements: The placement is going on in the college. Lots of companies visiting our college, and I am glad to get this college. The companies like Wipro, Accenture, and the several mass companies are visiting our college. The placement is good only for computer science, information science, and electronic and telecommunication department.

Placements: There are no core companies. You can join computer science or electronics & communication engineering. I don't really know the highest salary offered, but there were students who got placed in pretty good companies like Infotech, Wipro, Accenture, Mu Sigma, Tata Consultancy Services, etc.

Very few core companies visit the college. Altogether, 65% of the batch gets placed. In my batch, the highest salary offered by HPE. The average salary was in the range of 3.2-3.5 LPA.

A good college for studying, but you will lack the environment of main Bangalore city.

Placements: The placements offered are above 90% in our branch and this year average was around 3 LPA for us while the highest was about 7 LPA. So if your scores are well throughout your four years, you can easily get placed for IT jobs in the companies such as TCS and Accenture. Also, the placement cell is very good and effective and will help you in all the possible ways.
