Very good college in terms of placements. Around 100 companies visit campus every year for placements with salary packages offering from 3.5-12 LPA. Good environment and it does not charge extra money like other colleges, campus life is great. It has got very big grounds for cricket and football. Faculty members are good.

SMVIT is a well-known college in Bangalore and also in whole of Karnataka. It is one of the top most college under VTU, which has a pretty much good reputation as a university. I would not suggest others to take up this college because the placement is really not good when it comes to core branches like civil, mechanical and electrical. Even the labs have old machines and the readings during the survey and projects comes up to faulty numbers. Faculty was really good for my department but recentl...

Faculty: Faculty is good as most of them are highly experienced. Placement: Placements are the main USP of this college. One of the highest number of placements are done in our college in Bangalore. Campus: It is a huge campus. Lots of trees but it needs some management. Far from the city, so there are connectivity problems. You can plan only in weekends if you want to hang out in the city. A road separates the college in two section. There is a boundary wall now which increases the security. Th...

The college is spread over 130 acres of land with ample greenery. The department has experienced faculty and a very active training and placement cell. The college is known for its par excellence study environment and is one of the top engineering colleges of Karnataka. The college has seen a record year in terms of placements with more than 35 companies and more than 800 offers. Tata consultancy services and Accenture made 242 and 270 offers respectively which speaks volumes. .

Located on the outskirts of Bangalore towards airport, it is a nice place with well educated faculty and good placement records. The college faculty is very supportive. However the administration is good but little bit on the costly side. Nice and spacious campus with almost all facilities. The atmosphere is way to lighter than any other engineering colleges around. Would definitely recommend to others.

It’s a good college for the nerds. It has one of the best faculty members in whole of karnataka. The college campus is as big as you can get with 133 acres of large lustrous greenery all around the college. Its a bit far from the main city but the transport facility is really nice as it is situated near the bangalore airport. If you really want to study by taking CSE or mech or ece or biotech, I really think this is the best college for you in terms of placements and faculty.

College Review of Sir MVIT.

Placements: Placements are quite good for CS-related branches and ECE and Electrical. Companies like Tally Solutions, Bosch, Accenture, Infosys, and many other companies come to this college for on-campus placements. The highest package is around 15 lpa for the CSE branch.

The college is quite good and the study environment is also quite good.

Placements: The lowest package offered here is 4 lac per annum and the highest package is 29 LPA. Our college plays a very good role in helping and bringing out the entrepreneurial talent in the students. Many students get qualified for jobs through internships.

The college is fine regarding campus and placements. Mostly, teachers in our branch are friendly.

Placements: From our branch, around 60%-70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered in CS branch was 11 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.75 LPA. BlueOptima, Micro Focus and Aryaka are the highest salary packages offering companies. Accenture was the mass recruiter, and the role of a software engineer was offered by most of the companies.

My college review according to my experience.

Placements: Last year around 68% student got placed and in mechanical only 10% students get placed the highest percentage of students were placed from CS. Top recruiter was mindtree and the highest package offered was 12.5 lpa the lowest package was 3 lpa. Mechanical companies offered placement between 12 lpa to 2.4 lpa. Students in mechanical branch have done internships in small enterprises in peenya and few have done in Tata or BEL.

Review of Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology.

Placements: It is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. Especially the civil engineering branch is very good, and almost everyone gets jobs. Nagarjuna Constructions, Shobha Developers and L&T are few companies that offer a great salary. The highest salary package offered is around 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. Almost everyone gets internships.

Our college has a nice infrastructure and good placements. I am a bit dissatisfied.

Placements: Placements in our college are good for the mass departments like CSE, ISE, ECE but for courses, they are average. Companies like Hero, Robert Bosch, are not visiting our college now. Still, some well-recognised companies visit here. Overall, it is a good college, and you will not regret yourself after joining here.

This college provides the best placements but lacks in infrastructure as it is somewhat old college.

Placements: Placements in our college are far better than other colleges in Bangalore. Mr Khan is our placement in-charge who invites nearly about 200 companies every year for placements. Even core branches students got placed. For CS, ECE and IT branches, nearly all students get placed except some worst students.

The college has an average infrastructure with full free space.

Placements: Last year, 973 students got hired by 46 companies which visited our college for campus recruitment. Many reputed companies visit our campus during campus recruitment. But there are not many options for the civil branch. TCS hired 265 students, and Accenture hired 300 students. It is not a good college for management quota students.

The college offers good experience both for studies and other activities.

Placements: Placements for our branch are good with an average salary package of 3.5-4 LPA. A wide range of companies visits our college for placements. Our college ensures that every hardworking student gets their dream job. The highest salary package offered in our college was 56 LPA to a computer science student a few years back.
