SIT - Sinhgad Institute of Technology Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Lonavla, Pune

Placements: The placement of sinhgad has reached maximum height this year. The recruiting company including Tata Motors Accenture Infosys Mahindra Tech and many others has came to our campus for taking the student and many other companies of entc branch which means electronic and telecommunication department many companies for that branch is also coming to take the student for placement.

Placements: The placements at SIT have touched significant heights this year. The recruiting companies include IBM, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, etc. The placement of CS department and ENTC department is good, but the mechanical department is average. The highest salary package of CS student is approximately 11 LPA, and an average is 4 LPA.

Placements: The placement on central basis is good enough, i.e., 70-80 percentage. But specifically SIT, Lonavla doesn't have good placement. Earlier it was good, but year by year, it is decreasing. SIT, Lonavla is losing its fame, and the placement is showing downfall graph.

Placements: Placements of my college is very good. 70% student is placed. Many companies are came for the placements like ibm, infosys, amazone, vodefone, jio, relaince, anncecture, and many core companies are come for the placements. The highest package is 6 lac, and average package is 3.5 lac. Many companies are come for the internship also.

Placements: The placements seem to be on average verge presently as compare to previous year placed students. The highest salary offered was a package of 4.2 lac and the lowest was 1.44 lac. There where companies mostly IT visited the campus of which only two where core companies. Role offered such as trainee engineer. There is a placement cell available in institute.

Placements: A few placements for core companies. The placements are maximum for IT-related companies. Otherwise, the placement is good. You need to clear all the subject in the 3rd-year. There is a centralised placement cell for all the Sinhgad Institutes, which is held in Vadgaon campus.

Placements: Many good companies approach the college for placements Such as, infosis, Microsoft etc. But it is important to maintain a good aggregate for placements The ratio is of 1:10 the highest salary was 10lac and the lowest is 1.5 pa Their are special clubs in the college which Provide training for placements.

Placements: The placements are good in our college. Many students placed in a company. We get placements like Accenture, Infosys, Mahindra, Kirloskar and proper guidelines were given during placement. The students are placed in their jobs with proper packages who gets the job.

Placements: My senior batch placements were great. Almost, all of my senior got placed in this year. Our TPC is very good and helps us a lot in the placements. When compared to previous year placements, this year placements are high in our department. Our TPO always gives us the information about the company which are visiting and also arrange pre-placement talks for everyone.

Placements: As far as placements are considered, circuit branches (computer engineering, IT and electronics & telecommunication) have quite good placements. Companies like accenture, zenstar, infosys, tcs, tech mahindra among others come for campus recruitment. Placements: The placements for our senior batch were quite good, and the packages offered were between 1.5 LPA to 5 LPA, but this year they are offering low packages. The placements provided for the core branches like mech and ENTC were IT-related. Only a couple of students had enrolled in the core fields.

Placements: Sinhgad Institute placement is a centralised process. Most of the companies attend their recruitment process at Sinhgad Institute. The campus is in headquarters(Vadgaon Branch). The number of company coming for recruitment is way more compared to another college in Pune. Placements: For placements we need to go to main campus at Vadgaon Pune. This year placements are very less. Less than 10% students were place this year. Most of the placed are in it companies. Placements: The placements were not good for electronics & telecommunications branch, because students were placed only in IT companies, and they are working in the companies as support engineers. Overall, the placement is okay. The staff is not good enough, and right now, the staff is on strike because of salary issue, and college lectures were off for two months.

Placements: In this college many companies are coming for the placement like amazone, IBM, infyosis, jio, vodafone. 75% student get placed into the respective company and also core companies recruit for their core department. The campus in very large and ecofriendly. The college provides a very good opportunities for the students to nourish and develop there skills.

Placements: Quite good especially for computer science and information technology and also for electronics and telecommunications engineering. A bit okay for mechanical. Good for hotel management and pharmaceutical courses. It has a peer team of placement activities which is very nice.

Placements: In the year 2015-16, the placements were good. The average package offered was 3.5 lacs per annum at that time. Now, this time, the placements are going so poor because college does not pay the teacher for some reasons, so teachers went to strike, so that's the problem why placement is going very bad. The college's image is very bad on the outside of the campus.

There is special training and placement officers which are ready to introduce many companies for the students from last year as well as third year student. Placements: The placements are good. Only a few core companies involved in the placements. Most of the recruiters are from IT sector. The average package given is 3.5 LPA. If you are having 60% or above, then you can get easily placed. You should not only maintain your percentage, but you should also manage your extra skills in different activities because only with first class marks you can't get placed in the good company.

Placements: Placements are decent for computer IT departments. But, the placements of core branches like mechanical and electrical are not satisfactory. College campus is far away from the big cities like Pune and Mumbai.
