Great infrastructure and partnerships with companies provide training.

Placements: HRD department is responsible for the placements. They give training to the students from the first year. But the actual training in aptitude is given in the 3rd year. The placements are good for CSE and ISE. The placements for other departments are still picking up. The percentage of placement is above 90%. The average package is about 4 lakhs per annum.

Nice infrastructure, good placements, no Wi-Fi.

Placements: The placement of CSE department is pretty good. Most companies require a minimum percentage of 65%. A lot of companies come to the college with an average package of 3.5 lakhs. Other departments struggle in this section. There's almost negligible placement in the mechanical and civil departments.

About good things of SJBIT, Bangalore

Placements: Nowadays, an extra 4 companies will be coming to our campus except whatever we have before. That is a great opportunity for a student to take benefit from it. The college will also provide training for development in students' behaviour and create an awareness about the present scenario.

SJB Institute of Technology has strict teachers

Placements: The placements in our college were the worst before but now the college management now concentrates on placements alone. As a result, the placements have been improving. Many multinational companies started visiting us like Robert Bosch, L&T Infotech, Adobe, Shoba Developers, Vasundara Constructions and much more

Average college with average facilities and education.

Placements: Placements are pretty average. The package provided by the companies vary between 2 lakhs PA to 5 lakhs PA. Computer science, information science and electronics & communication students get placed easily, whereas electrical & electronics, mechanical and civil branch students have to struggle a lot. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HP, Mindtree, Amazon, HCL, L&T and a few more companies visited the campus. Generally, the number of service-based companies visiting the campus is more than produ...

Good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were good but the thing is that only service-based companies visit the campus. The count of product-based companies visiting the campus is less, say below 5. Besides this, the package on average, it is 3.3-3.5 lakhsp.a. But only IT companies visit the college. So if someone from ECE, mechanical, and other branches are willing to go for a core based company, you will have to try on your own.

The best atmosphere far away from the city center.

Placements: Actually, this college has very good placements and that was the first reason why I joined here. Almost 85 % of the eligible students get placed every year. The highest salary offered was 8 lpa and the least was 1.8 lpa. Many roles were offered by the company such as software assistant, trainee, tech support and many more.

Good college with good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our batch as well as our previous batches were very good and with a lot of companies visiting our campus thanks to our college reputation. Although most of the companies offered packages in the range of 3-6 lakhs, there was 100% placement from our batch(those who were eligible). Companies visiting the campus included the names like TCS, Wipro, NTT Data, L&T Infotech etc. One or two core companies also visited but their selection criteria was strict. ...

Absolutely happy after joining to such good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: Being a civil student, placements for civil have been less which is what I have heard from seniors. But maybe, a few companies will come. About other branches, the placements are excellent and almost 100% placements if you have good academic scores. As far as I know, 2 lakhs per annum to 16 lakhs per annum has been offered till now. Last year, placements for civil was zero as only one or 2 got placed from what I know. We are not getting the internship from the college. ...

Enjoyed my college life with good placement offer and received good academic knowledge.

Placements: The placements for seniors were really good with companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, NTT Data and many other IT companies coming with an annual package salary of 3-4 lakhs for freshers. The job role given was of a Technical Trainee. Internships are not approachable by the college and students themselves have to find one

SJBIT is good for placements(service-based IT company) & management people are money hunters.

Placements: The placements were good, and most of the companies are service-based companies, but the visibility of product-based companies for recruitments is rare. Placement-record wise, most of the eligible candidates will get placed. In my batch, the placement result was 96% and in the previous batch, the result was 94%. Most of the companies will offer the Software Engineer role, and very few companies will offer support engineer role etc. The internship is not up to the mark, but from the 2016 batch, t...

My college is situated in Bangalore as mentioned above. Infrastructure is good. Our college has an agreement with TCS. Many companies visits campus for recruitment like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Ericsson, Aricent & many more. Companies like Toyota, Robert Bosch, TVS, etc. come for mechanical engineering placements. Fee structure is little expensive as the annual college fees is Rs. 1, 71,000/ per annum. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. The hostels are situated in the campus ...

The placements are good, but college is very specific about attendance. The campus is very nice. Hostel food is also good North Indians can enjoy the food too. So, I would suggest to join the college. Faculty is strict indeed whole management is strict n fee is so high.

The college is in a very good location, on the outskirts of Bangalore making it ideal for a good environment for academics. The college also emphasis on excellence in academics and provides a relaxed environment for the same. There is also a well-developed R&D department which works with students interested in research for the same. Infrastructure and facilities are good and extracurricular activities are also encouraged. Placements are very good and 100 % placements has been the benchmark for t...

The infrastructure and facilities are the USP's of S.J.B.I.T. With a large campus, Well Equipped Labs, Gyms, Music rooms, Auditorium, Library, R&D Dept., the college has good facilities to use. The Faculty is average and the teaching is traditionally one way with students imparting the knowledge. The College has one college fest called ‘Varchasva’ and is known for its vibrant nature. It is usually hosted with a lot of excitement and fervor. The Placements is among the best in engineering college...

The College has a vast encompassing campus with Infrastructure and natural beauty. The facilities are also good with equipped Laboratories, Gym, Auditorium and classrooms. The Pedagogy of teaching is traditional with little room for experimentation. Faculty is also mediocre and may not be among the strongest suits for the college. The biggest advantage of joining SJBIT is its strong corporate cell or HRD (Human resource dept.). Usually complete (100%) placements are seen with IT jobs being the m...

We have the best of renowned and dedicated faculty members. The whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to students to choose among interdisc I have mixed reviews for this college. Even though the campus facilities and exposure which it provides through its events is fabulous; the Placements are only average. The fee structure at my time of joining was very high, which I feel is not worth the money as the ROI is lowered.

It is good college for both in teaching and placements. The placement classes starts from 1st semester itself. You will get better coaching and placement. The campus is also huge. The other departments also good in teaching. From 1st semester they concentrate on placement that will help us in last year for our campus interviews.

SJBIT is awesome because the placements are awesome if you are from CSE or ISE branch. Other branches have to struggle more. The campus is awesome. Our college has one of the best infrastructures when compared to other colleges. Some factors are bad about this college. They take too much fine even if you don’t make any mistake. Attendance must be at least 85% otherwise, pay a fine. The canteen is really bad. The teachers are bad and there is o Wi-Fi.
