A:
{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni]

St. Joseph's University has an open campus life for girls, with multiple sports grounds and coaching available. The college has a moderately busy calendar with one to three monthly events, and the mess food is of acceptable quality and hygiene. Attendance policies are strictly enforced, and there is a zero tolerance policy towards any form of ragging. The academic schedule is moderate with around 5-15 lectures per week, and teaching methodologies involve practical discussions around case studies. The college has a well-stocked library and provides ample research and reading resources. Security measures include guards and CCTV cameras present everywhere, and outsiders cannot enter the campus unchecked.

I'd be happy to assist you. Based on the reviews provided, here's an analysis of the overall infrastructure of the college:

The college has a range of infrastructural facilities, including a large library, multiple canteens, an auditorium, a football ground and indoor game areas. The reviewers generally describe the infrastructure as well-maintained, with Wi-Fi coverage throughout the campus. The hostels are also considered good, with some reviewers praising the hostel food. The laboratories are reportedly well-equipped with modern products and machinery. However, some reviewers note that the fees are high and girls' hostel is not available.

Overall, the infrastructure of the college appears to be of a moderate to high standard, with a focus on providing a comprehensive range of facilities for students. However, the absence of a girls' hostel may be a drawback for some potential students.

Summary: The college has a good range of infrastructural facilities, including a large library, multiple canteens and sporting facilities. The hostels are well-maintained and the laboratories are equipped with modern technology. However, the fees are high and there is no girls' hostel available.

Placement Cell Assistance for M.Sc. Students at St. Joseph's University, Bangalore

Unfortunately, according to student reviews, there is no mention of a dedicated Placement Cell specifically for M.Sc. students at St. Joseph's University, Bangalore. In fact, one student stated that "We don't have a placement cell for our course. It will come up soon."

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2015, & really good infrastructure.
Placements: SJU has good placements for freshers. Many top companies like EY, Accenture, Infosys, Deloitte, etc., bring in opportunities for freshers. The highest package offered for freshers is 5.5 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA for freshers. There are various roles offered, like HR manager, finance manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It is a 125-year-old institution which provides hostel facilities, food mess, stationery, a cafeteria, a library, labs, digital libraries, and digital classrooms. The cafeteria is well-maintained, and the hygiene is good.
Faculty: The teachers are very approachable and available for any queries and for helping the students to achieve their goals throughout the academic year. The non-teaching staff is quite good and well-mannered. The industry-related courses are very helpful.

Fun for all crowd and great infrastructure.
Placements: Half of the students who applied for placement got the placement, and the maximum CTC was 8 LPA and the least was 3 LPA. The top recruitment companies include EY, PWC, etc. I have also applied for the placement, but I haven't got it yet. But many of my classmates have gotten placement with a CTC of 3 to 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Labs, classes, canteen—all the infrastructure was better than any usual college. The library facility was available both online and offline. For boys, they have a hostel on campus, but not for girls at least now. But nearby there are many hostels that provide those facilities.
Faculty: The teachers will provide all the necessary book recommendations and spend extra time on you if you ask for help. Each semester you will be dealing with different subjects from the same branch as for us, and the passing mark would be 22.5 and passing attendance criteria is 75%.
Other: Not only the usual classes, our college also has the best events, activities, sports, DJ nights, etc. for different crowds.

Good infrastructure and faculty!
Placements: I don't think the placement cell does any work, at least in the undergraduate block. For undergrads, I don't think even the internship cell works. We need to really work hard to get internships by ourselves. Anyway, it's a great experience when it comes to college life.
Infrastructure: The library, classrooms, and all are very nice and lavish where people can study peacefully, and even the canteen is huge enough. The kids enjoy the food served in the canteen as there is a lot of variety and different culture food. It's a hilly place, and kids love it.
Faculty: The teachers are very nice and helpful. Some of them are very annoying, but other than that, the faculty of humanities and English both are very good. Semester exams are not very tough as the teachers help us throughout the semester. The exams are very easy comparatively.
Other: I love to write and be creative with my words, so I opted for this course.

The best college of my life.
Placements: Our campus has a well-maintained training and placement cell. It provides many opportunities to get jobs as soon as we finish our course. Every year many students are placed in many different best companies all over India and the placement package we get is so good: 16 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Everyone gets a single room along with shared washrooms (the room has a bed, mattress, cupboard, table, and bookcase provided for all students)—you get to choose your own wingmates during the 2nd year. The hostel fee is 54K per year, and along with that, you pay a mess fee of between 4-5K per month. Given the humid weather of Kolkata, it is hard to stay in rooms that aren't air-conditioned; most students get table fans for the summer season.
Faculty: I chose it because it's an ancient university and the 5th top university in India. Its culture and architecture are very nice. Every department and hostel is having unique architecture and structures. Land and gardening are well maintained. Entrance examination is very easy.

St Joseph University pros and cons.
Placements: A lot of my seniors have been placed into good companies, with an average package of 4-5 LPA. Some teachers say that the highest package was 10 LPA, but no one has confirmed that.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at St. Joseph's University is quite good. Drinking water is available everywhere on campus, and the sports facilities are actually very good. However, the teachers responsible for sports are very arrogant and have a royal attitude. The hostel has a very good atmosphere, and the food and other facilities are much better than expected.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and approachable, especially when we need them the most. The teaching quality is quite practical and understandable. The course curriculum is very relevant and up-to-date, which prepares students for real life. This semester, out of 50 students in our class, 10 failed, giving a pass percentage of 80 percent.

St Joseph's University Guide.
Placements: We have around 51 students in class. The placements aren't good, like I've heard from my seniors, and they aren't really happy or excited about the placements. There's no good internship given by the college; you need to look outside for internships if you want to have one.
Infrastructure: The college provides you with an open Wi-Fi system, which is fast, and also has a digital library for students to study. The classes are assigned a digital board so that the teachers can interact with the students in a digital way too. The hostel's facilities aren't good, and the area isn't clean too.
Faculty: The teachers are pretty good, but for some departments, they aren't as good as they should be. Like in my case, the Physics department and the Maths department aren't that good, so I would suggest looking for some other colleges if you opt for Physics and Mathematics. The semester exams are pretty hard as the papers get repeated.
Other: The campus doesn't really offer you very high-profile events, where you bring big stars, but the college events aren't really that bad. You'll have a good experience with them.
