Review of SJCET - St. Joseph'S College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Around 20% of students were placed in companies such as Infosys and Sutherland. Department-based placements were below average. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. They provided great placements in IT companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good. The hostel was good. Wi-Fi and the library were available. Our library was well maintained, clean, and had a lot of books. It had two canteens and a medical room for students.
Faculty: Our college had sufficient teachers for each department. They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was quite good. When students fall behind in their studies, they hold extra classes.
Other: I like business, so I chose this course.

B.E. / B.TechCandidate must have secured the above-mentioned percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together with 50% marks in Mathematics separately. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science & Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. Candidates belonging to SEBC/ PD category will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. However, candidates who have passed 10+2 with 45% marks (Relaxation of marks for SEBC and PD category is not applicable) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are also eligible under Management Quota. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2019.
