Satisfied with the college facilities.
Placements: 50 percent of students are getting placements. INR 3 lacs per annum is the highest package and INR 1 lacs per annum is the lowest. Sutherland Global and AutoCAD are the top recruiters. Project manager is the highest post, but no student got placed in. Work in PWD for the state service offered by this course.
Infrastructure: There is very good infrastructure; Wi-Fi is available for students with laptops; a well-maintained class, etc. Hostel services are averagely very low in sports and arts. Mess is too expensive. Hostel facilities are average. The quality of the food in the mess is too good. giving a good review except for these problems.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is impressive. The course is curriculum-relevant. No, it does not make students ready for industry. Semester exams are difficult and exams are conducted twice in a semester. Its a good option for students.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion to be a civil engineer. Events are conducted twice a year.

Best college for academics.
Placements: More than 60% of students were placed in civil engineering from SJCET. The highest package is 3.5 LPA and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys TCS and UST global. More than 90% of students got their internship. Sports and events are well planned.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for this college is perfect Free Wi-Fi, all facilities are available for Labs, classroom and good library. Hostels are near to the college and have enough facilities. And also SJCET is good in mess, canteen, medical facilities, sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality and mind of teachers to help is good. Faculty members are little strict and it reflects in your studies in a positive way. The professors are well educated and they are good at what they do.
Other: SJCET is good for events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities etc.

SJCET, Palai - The overall experience.
Placements: Around 70% of students without arrears got placed in our course in reputed organisations. The highest salary package offered for a fresher is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Top recruiting companies from our stream are Aarbee Structures, Liva Interiors, etc.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of our college is excellent and beautiful. Our classrooms have all amenities. The library is vast with a large number of books and journals. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The food quality in our college hostel is not good. Our canteen provides good food.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified enough to deal with subjects. The teaching methods vary from person to person. Some faculty members made complexity in understanding subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.

Dissatisfied with faculty members and other teachers.
Placements: 5% of students will get placement 50000 maximum and 10000 package. Sutherland Global are top recruiter. No internship available by the company. Project Manager id the top post. Infosys is also a top recruiter but they are not giving a chance to new student nowadays. Civil department have low placement compared to other departments.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available without laptops. Gadgets are not working properly. The Mess and Canteen, medical facilities are poor. Weaker in sports and games. The library is well arranged and has a lot of collections. The library is well maintained. Medical care is free for all students. But the services available are less.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified. But course and are tough. They are only focusing on the curriculum. Especially in the civil department teachers are not interested in curricular activities. Civil communities are inactive. The teaching quality is less. Because teachers are focusing on completing the portion.
Other: I chose the course Because becoming a civil engineer is my childhood dream. In my perception, the syllabus should be simplified. Events and Programmes are less in this college. Strict faculty with gender inequality and caste discrimination.

Satisfied with the management.
Placements: Above 92% students get placed every year. Infosys, Infopar, Wipro, sutherland global, Byjus, etc. are the top recruiters. Pwd worker, site engineer, project manager, etc. are the major roles offered in civil engineering. 5 LPA is the average package in this course. 85% students get internship each year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available around the campus but sometimes it has poor connection. Classrooms and labs are available for all the departments. Library is vast and rich in books. Food available is good and healthy in both mess and hostel. 2 canteens and 1 cafe are there in the campus. Medical room is available and also they encourage us in sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they all support us. They are qualified and graduated. Teaching quality is perfect. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry ready. Semester exams are mild. Pass percentage is above 55%. Teachers and faculty members make curriculum simpler to understand.
