Very much satisfied with the college
Placements: Here placement percentage is 90 percent that means you have more chances of getting placed in campus, however the average package is of 5.8 LPA. Also the top recruiter are Hitachi and TCS previously Mahindra group also recruited 15 students. The highest package of previous year was 13 LPA.
Infrastructure: Great infrastructure all the tools and machinery for learning are available.2 seminar halls however hostel is not available inside the campus. The main fest of the college is ignite where you can see celebrities also we have tech fest two times in a year.
Faculty: Here faculties are very supportive understanding and always help you in both exams and co circular activities. The facilities are well educated and have almost 15 patient they have good teaching strategies. The teachers are young so you can feel free to ask them about all your queries.
Other: The main fest of the college is ignite and that is so beautiful celebrities come in college. You can also get a chance to perform on a stage per year two tech fest Is conducted.

Very good crowd and staff, decent placements, decent infrastructure and good facilities.
Placements: The percent of students that were placed last year something around 60%. Mostly the students from the core branch get placed first and then from the other branches. The highest package was 7-8 LPA and lowest was 2-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are tech and startups.
Infrastructure: The college is still developing so every year. There are improvements in the college. The facilities in the college are decent all labs and library have a good wifi. Also there are two seminar halls at ground and first floor there are total seven floor in college.
Faculty: The teachers are very good and own there work very well, especially at first year. The exams are conducted under the guidance of Mumbai university at first and last year. The passing percentage of the students at first year was something around 60%.
Other: I chose the course as i am interested in computer engineering and also its an core branch. The best thing about our college is it allows every low fees for good education and facilities.

Less satisfied with the college infrastructure, faculty, placements, and facilities.
Placements: The highest package offered is 3.5 lakhs, while the lowest is 1.5 lakhs. Wipro and TCS are the top recruiting companies. Roles offered mainly include Python, Java, Frontend, and Backend for computer students, and there are placements available for electrical students as well. Nearly 50% of students get placed in their final year. No internships are provided, but there are many college clubs that conduct events and seminars for students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the library for students. The infrastructure is somewhat okay. Only computer branch students have access to the latest labs and PCs. Classrooms are large and clean, and the library is vast with a broad range of reference books. Sports events are held every year.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, but many struggle to teach the subjects assigned to them. The course curriculum is not aligned with current industry needs. The college follows the syllabus of Mumbai University. Teaching quality is average.
Other: I wanted to pursue a degree in IoT and Cybersecurity. Events and fests are great.

Satisfied with some of the faculties but not with all the staff.
Placements: I graduated from Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering (SIGCE) in 2023 with a Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering. The college had a solid placement rate, with around 75% of students in my course securing jobs. The highest package reached INR 12 LPA, while the lowest was INR 3 LPA, and the average package hovered around INR 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters included major companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, and Cognizant. Approximately 60% of students landed internships with companies such as TCS, Infosys, and various startups like Tech Mahindra and Mindtree. Common roles offered to our batch were software developer, web developer, data analyst, and quality assurance tester. Overall, the college provided good placement opportunities, and the internship support was beneficial in gaining industry experience.
Infrastructure: Moderate The facilities and infrastructure at Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering (SIGCE) are decent, especially for the Computer Science department. The campus offers well-equipped computer labs with updated systems and necessary software, high-speed Wi-Fi access across the academic areas, and spacious, air-conditioned classrooms with projectors for an enhanced learning experience. The library is well-stocked with a wide range of academic books, journals, and e-resources relevant to engineering students, allowing for productive study sessions and research. The hostel facilities are moderate, with rooms that are comfortable but fairly basic. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is average, catering to basic tastes with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Medical facilities on campus are adequate, with a first-aid room and a doctor on call for any emergencies. The college also supports students' physical development with sports facilities for games like cricket, basketball, and badminton. While some areas could benefit from improvements, overall, SIGCE provides satisfactory amenities for students.
Faculty: The faculty at Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering (SIGCE) is generally helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Most professors hold advanced degrees and bring both academic and industry experience to their teaching. They are approachable and willing to assist students with doubts and project guidance. The teaching quality is satisfactory, with some faculty members using practical examples and projects to make concepts more understandable, though teaching styles can vary. The Computer Science Engineering curriculum is reasonably relevant and covers essential topics like programming, data structures, algorithms, and database management, which are valuable for industry roles. However, there are areas where the curriculum could be updated to include more recent technologies and practices, such as advanced data analytics, machine learning, and cloud computing. While it provides a good foundation, students may need to pursue additional skills through internships or online courses to be fully industry-ready. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, testing both theoretical knowledge and practical applications. The pass percentage for the course generally hovers around 80%, reflecting a fairly supportive academic environment that encourages students to succeed with consistent effort and preparation.

Review of Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering.
Placements: 60-70 percent of students got internships. The minimum package offered is around 3 Lacs per annum, and the maximum package is around 13-14 Lacs per annum. Almost 70-80 percent of students who opted for placement get the placement by training and placement cell.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available for each and every lab in the college. The classrooms are big enough. There is no hostel affiliated with the college. But you can stay as paying guests in the nearby apartments. The canteen is decent, and the food served is better than average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. All teaching staff are highly qualified and are Masters in their field. The teaching quality is good. The difficulty of the semester is medium to hard. The semester exams are held by Mumbai University. The passing percentage is around 60-70 percent.
Other: I opted for this course because of my personal interest in this field. There are many big events arranged by college, such as cultural event, tech fests, sports events, etc. The campus crowd is very friendly.

This college was above my expectations.
Placements: For our branch of engineering at this college, there were average placement opportunities offered to the students. Average package offered in the college was between 3-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Apollo, Philips, etc. Top roles offered were that of an intern, associate, mechanical engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has an above average infrastructure for our course. The campus has all the kinds of facilities available including Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, etc. for the students. Hostel facility was also available and given on first come first serve basis. Rooms and food quality were good enough.
Faculty: The faculty of our college was supportive and helpful towards the students of our course. The teachers were well qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers were giving the best quality of teaching with both practical and theoretical knowledge. Course curriculum was relevant. Semesters were not hard to pass.
