As resident of Pune I don't like that college.

Placements: It has been reported that over 150 companies will be visiting the college, but the actual number is significantly lower. Even if they do come, the job offers they provide are not at high wages. Only a few students manage to secure placements with good salaries. Mechanical students, in particular, face numerous challenges in finding employment, as they are often overlooked by potential employers.

Nice faculty and great learning.

Placements: 200–300 students were placed in the previous academy year, which is an average package of INR 3LPA–6LPA. Many more companies from different sections come here to give a good package to students in this college. There are different clubs that perform extracurricular activities.

It has decent faculty members, average placements and old infrastructure. I am a bit dissatisfied.

Placements: Placements are average here. Only those students who don't have any live KT are allowed to attend placements. Moreover, if you have more than 4 KTs, you won't get placed. About 80% of the eligible students get placed mostly in mass recruiting MNCs. Internships are not offered, and the roles offered are also not very good.

Teaching wise it is okay. In 2018 there was a good placements.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed. The highest package offered was 7 LPA. The average package offered was 3 LPA. The lowest package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon Web Services, Cognizant, Persistent and Infosys. Top roles offered are full stack developer, java developer and backend developer. The highest package offered in our course was 7 LPA, the average package offered in our course was 3 LPA, and the lowest package offered in our course was 2 LPA. Almost 5% of st...

Faculty members are worthless, but the placements, campus life and crowd are good.

Placements: Placements in Sinhgad Institutes have increased lately. The mass recruiters like TCS, Cognizant and Infosys select many students from CS, IT and E&Tc departments. Usually, they offer an average package of 3- 4.5 LPA which is very decent for a fresher. There are some companies like Nvidia and others who offer packages in the range of 7-8 LPA, but they select very few students. One drawback about the placements in Sinhgad is that the placement drives are conducted for all the Sinhgad Institutes as...

This is not a good college.

Placements: The placements are good. A few core placements are available for the students of the mechanical department, but the college provides good placement opportunities in the software sector. The average salary package offered is 2.5 to 3 LPA. Students who involve in extracurricular activities are preferred by the companies.

Join the college if you want to pursue engineering and focus on your goals.

Placements: Atlas Copco and Kirloskar are the core companies which visited the college. 3 students out of 400 got placed in Atlas Copco and 3 in Kirloskar, last year. The remaining students got placed in Accenture and other IT companies. Only 21 students from the previous batch got jobs. GE and Commins offered placements only for girls this year. Mahindra and Mahindra company is offering internships.

Good at first. Rude at last.

Placements: In First year, teacher's response was quite good. Teachers helped in providing study material for exams and also made sure that students are understanding the concepts. But this trait went on declining as the years passed by. Teachers don't care about conceptual understanding. Some staff members have not developed the understanding of subjects they teach.

Satisfied with the placements, but dissatisfied with the infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: The placements are fine and satisfactory on the grounds of skills and academics. Many software companies come to recruit the students in huge numbers, but the core electronics companies that visit the campus are very less. The automobile and mechanical branches have average placements.

Reality of Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering.

Placements: The placements are actually good in this college. Plenty of the companies comes to the campus. The core companies are also there for the mechanical students. The students are also brilliant. Nearly, 60% of the students doing the internship now. There is a placement cell present in the college. The highest package offered up to now was 6-6.5 lacs per year, and the lowest was 1.5-2 lacs per year.

The facilities are not up to the mark, decent placements, and the infrastructure can be attractive.

Placements: The placements are decent but not good for all the departments. IT, computer science, and ENTC department students can get a placement if the students have some good knowledge about the field, but the placements are not at all good for the core branches. The students have to depend on off-campus placements.

I have extremely below expectations on this campus.

Placements: The placements are not good as much as they say. After the strike scandal of college, the companies are not coming as much as they used to be. The general package is around 3 LPA only, but if you try and do some hard work, you might have a chance. Otherwise, in general, there are no placements as only 20-30% of the students get the placement.

A few things about Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Engineering.

Placements: Don't expect anything from the college, you have to search on your own. The college brings mostly IT companies. If you want to join IT company after learning four years in mechanical engineering then it is good, you will get placed, but if you want core job, then it is tough.

Average college, good but not great.

Placements: Mainly the placement activity is conducted across all the Sinhgad institutes and not separately at each college. Many MNC's visits each year such as Accenture, Cognizant, and Capgemini. But for this academic year, only Accenture conducted mass placements. Many product based companies visit each year, but the only thing to worry is they have a very low intake which ultimately leads to greater competition.

Less satisfied by faculty support and lack of knowledge, but I loved the campus.

Placements: Our college says 100 percent placement which is true but upto some extent. I have seen many students still haven't got any job. I can say 80% of the "eligible" students are placed. MuSigma ( 6 lack per annum) Cognizant (3.25 lack per annum) Accenture ( 3.20) Capgemini (3.30) TCS, Amura, TataTech, Tech Mahindra, L n T, etc. Are some of the many companies, from software developer to Software tester and software associate etc. Jobs they offer. If you are eligible and technically sound then you cert...

Absolutely satisfied by faculty good placements in 2017, but infrastructure need to be Improved.

Placements: The overall placement of the Smt Kashibai Navale College of Engineering is decent. Here, 80% of the criteria is required for qualified student, i.e., who were eligible to attend the interview and 60% of graduates were placed. Mass recruiters such as Accenture, Cognizant and Infosys visited the campus whereas the average package is around Rs. 4 LPA while the highest being Rs. 11 LPA from Nvidia.

Placements are satisfactory, teaching is alright, campus is very good and upbeat.

Placements: All the colleges under Sinhgad Institutes have centralised placement which means every student is competing against 2500 students. Though this policy attracts mass recruiters, product-based companies don't prefer coming to our college as they have to choose only the limited number of students from such a vast batch. For my batch, only Accenture came as a mass recruiter and plenty of my friends aren't yet placed or have grabbed a job with very low pay (below 3LPA). The college doesn't allow the p...

The average college and they are intolerant to less attendance.

Placements: The placement for my branch is critical. From the last batch, only seven students got placed, and this year, the placements are pretty bad. Some students got placed because of their abilities. The ENTC dept and the computer department are said to have the highest placements. The placement in this institute is considered as central one.

How a college can't perform well when teachers are non cooperative

Placements: Our senior batch had a null placement at all, approximately 20-30% students got placed. The highest package offered was 11LPA, and the lowest was 3-4 LPA. Top companies do visit here like Google, Microsoft etc. 50% of the students got the internship from college. There is central placement cell for all Sinhgad campus which is a positive point. Placement cell is efficient, and mass number of students are placed through them.

My college SKNCOE, Pune. Happiness, study, events, and sports.

Placements: Placements are good for the students who are in the first class, but not good for the ordinary students. Only the mass recruitment companies will take the students as a trainee engineer. You can not except more than that. The placements process are well organised in the college.
