B.Tech. Scholarships:
Assured Scholarship 100% Tuition Fee Waiver
Eligibility:
i) Candidates from Computer Engineering securing JEE (CRL) 1 - 20000 and ACPC Rank 1 - 200 are eligible.
ii) Candidates from Information & Communication Technology, Electronic & Communication Engineering securing JEE (CRL) 1 - 40000 and ACPC Rank 1 - 300 are eligible.
iii) Candidates from Biotechnology & Bioengineering/ Chemical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Petroleum Engineering securing JEE (CRL) 1 - 75000 and ACPC Rank 1 - 3500 are eligible.
Candidates can get 25% Tuition Fees waiver on admission of below mentioned courses:
a) Civil Engineering
b) Electrical Engineering
c) Petroleum Engineering.
Scholarship for B.Sc. (Hons.) for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics:
Merit based scholarship based on theory marks for the subjects Physics/Chemistry & Mathematics/ Biology in class 12th.
i) Candidates who have scored 80% and above marks in class 12th will get 75% Tuition fee waiver
ii) Candidates who have scored between 70% to 80% in class 12th will get 50% Tuition fee waiver
Special Scholarship for Defence / CAPF Persons in B.Tech. Program:
100% tuition fee waiver to wards of Gallantry Award winner or those who made supreme sacrifice for the nation i.e. fatal battle casualty. Candidate has to present proof of award from respective organization.
50% tuition fee waiver to the ward of war injured / war disabled soldier of defence force and CAPF. Candidate has to present war disability certificate from respective organization.
50% tuition fee waiver to the wards soldiers whose annual income less than 8.0 lakhs. Candidate has to present income certificate.

Placements: Almost 80% of the students were placed in the placement year 2024. The highest package offers in my course was 16.5 LPA, the lowest was around 3 LPA, and the average package was 5.5 to 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Halliburton, Reliance Industries, Shell Business Operations, S&P Global, EY, Karan Group, Sterling Oil and Gas. 100% of the students were offered internship opportunities in government and private sector companies. Placements: The college claims a placement rate of 90%. The highest placement in the Electrical Engineering branch was 9.16 LPA CTC, and the average was 6.25 LPA CTC. 1) Shell 2) Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India 3) Jubilant Ingrevia 4) Reliance Industries 5) MG Motors 6) Aditya Birla Group 7) Alstom 8) Tata Power 9) Tata AutoComp 10) Yokogawa 11) Torrent Power 12) L&T Ltd 13) iSun 14) Transformers & Rectifiers (India) This is claimed by PDEU, and it is what it is.
Placements: The placement offered at PDEU are mainly concentrate in the energy sector, it includes companies like Reliance industries, Tata group, ONGC, Adani power etc. The placements are average at best the average CTC for 2023 was 7.5LPA for the entire university whereas the branch specific average for chemical was 6.5LPA which is mediocre at best.
