Great faculty but the college is not worth the money paid.
Placements: There are already very less students studying in this so placement rates might be high but the average package is very low about 1.5 lacs per annum. The highest package is about 3-4 lacs. Considering the internships, we are free to do it from any place.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. There is everything a student might need, including air conditioning, light, proper seating, and smart boards. There are two very big libraries containing every possible book for all the courses. The provided study space in the library is also very comfortable and access is given only through the ID card.
Faculty: The flow of examinations is a little too tedious and can be hectic for a master's student. First IA is taken that is internal assessment after completion of one unit or as per faculty members' convenience. Every IA is taken of 25 marks eventually covering them into 5 marks. Then mid-semester are taken of 50 marks and converted into 25 marks and final exams are taken of 100 marks covering them into 50 marks. I do not like this flow as it gives no justice to the real-time efforts of the students.

My experience at Pandit Deendayal Energy University.
Placements: Pandit Deendayal Energy University offers a very good opportunity. Chemical engineering is good and has vast future. The highest package is around 12 LPA and the average is 7 LPA. The lowest package is around 6 LPA. Recruiting companies are Reliance, ONGC, and Tata.
Infrastructure: Food of mess is not so good. Hostel has AC and rooms are fine. Mess food is not good. Sports facilities are so good. There are many clubs. So if someone is appearing for higher sports PDEU gives a very good opportunity.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified and helpful. Maximum teachers have knowledge about the course they are teaching. They are mostly Ph.D. and M.Tech qualified. They are serving PDEU for something ranging from 5 years to 12 years.
Other: I chose chemical engineering because there is vast growth in chemical engineering these days. PDEU offers a very good intellectual and helpful environment for new engineering students.

Placements are low but there are many events and workshops to develop skills.
Placements: Average placements in chemical engineering are around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. In this college, I think 30 to 40% of students get average placements. The highest package is around 7 LPA to 8 LPA. The minimum package is around 3 LPA to 4 LPA in chemical engineering.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is absolutely nice. We should not get Wi-Fi only get ethernet for laptops. But cafeteria is large and clean and also gets good food. Some special items get on events like Independence and Republic Day. Also, there is a big sports complex.
Faculty: Faculty members and curriculum are nice in the first year. Honestly, the exam system is well. Some of the faculty members are best but some faculty members read through the PPTs and go out. Our curriculum is absolutely nice. To be honest, semester exams are easy for those who study regularly.
Other: For those who choose to enjoy college life, it is a very good college.

The review of PDEU by the petroleum guy.
Placements: Placements in petroleum engineering at PDEU is 80%. Top companies are Reliance Industries, Shell, OilMax, Haliburton, and many more. The average package is 10 LPA. The highest package is 41 LPA, and the lowest salary is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Every classroom here has Wi-Fi facility, air-conditioning, comfortable seating, charging sockets, projector, whiteboards, and speakers. The laboratory here has industrial level instruments and a top-notch. The library consists of variety of books from all domains and all fields. Hostel quality is very good. The rooms have air-conditioning, bed mattress, cupboards, table, lamp, etc. The food is really good. The quality of the hostel food is really good and samples are taken every day to reassure the quality. Veg and non-veg options are available as well as Jain options are also available over here.
Faculty: Faculty members over here are highly qualified and are experts in their respective fields. The curriculum is followed by NIT and IIT. The exams are taken in two parts, the mid-semester and end-semester. The curriculum over here is very relevant. The topics taught over here are useful as well as the practicals in laboratories reflect industry-level experiences. The pattern of the paper is moderate, too hard.
Other: I chose petroleum engineering at PDPU, as I always wanted to do it on the safe side. I also applied to my university in chemical engineering. The best thing about my course is that it is relevant to industries and with the modern scenarios going on. The events and crowd over here at top-notch. The events are handled by clubs. The clubs are handled by students of PDEU. There are three major events held at PDEU, Tesserect which is held by science and technology committee, Flare which is conducted by social and culture committee, and Energy Cup held by sports committee.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Business Systems - Batch of 2028
4.4

An honest review of Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU).
Placements: As I am from the branch of computer science and business systems and it is the 1st year of this branch so placements are not there. But the placements from other branches such as computer science are good. The average salary is nearly 10 LPA, and the highest package is nearly 40 LPA. No idea of the lowest package. Top recruiting companies for my course computer science are Reliance, TCS, etc. Students in their 1st year do internships with various NGOs, and in 3rd or 4th year, they do internships with companies like TCS, Reliance, etc.
Infrastructure: In my course of CSBS we have to study in F-block so the classrooms include projector, AC, fans, whiteboards, and Wi-Fi available on whole campus. There is a library in our block. We have a reading area and computer labs for different purposes. Apple lab is also there if anyone wants to do research. There are 2 hostels, one for 1st and 2nd year named UG hostel and another high rise hostel for 3rd and 4th year students. In hostel, you will get 2 sharing rooms. Quality of the mess food is good. There is a sports complex for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers who are teaching us are very much helpful. There are separate teachers for each batch. They are highly qualified as well as experienced and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is also good. The course curriculum is relevant as it is been organized by TCS (Tata Consultancy Services). It made the students industry-ready. Mid-semester and IA are somewhat difficult but end-semester has a moderate difficulty level. Pass percentage is 40% per subject.
Other: As I wanted to do computer science and business as well that's why I chose this branch. The best thing about my course is that it includes business systems. Something I wish would be improved in my course is that if they teach us the stock market, trading, etc. There are too many fests happening in our college such as Rangtaal during Navratri, Kai Po Che during Makar Sankranti, DJ nights, and energy cup. The surroundings of the campus are good.
