Review of SCT - Sona College of Technology.

Placements: The college has decent placements. But we have to increases our quality. Many IT companies visit our campus for placements. They provide more placement training for students at the end of the 3rd year. But the drawback is that there are fewer placements for core jobs. They also support for off-campus placements.

Our college has good faculty members with motivational thoughts and a good mind.

Placements: A Japanese person teaches us about the language and culture of Japan as get placement offers from a Japanese company. The salary offered is about two lakhs. Every year, 10 students get placed in MNCs which come to our college for interviews. Other companies also conduct interviews and offered jobs. Opportunities like that in IIT are available for students.

Good college where you can enrich knowledge by yourself.

Placements: Placement for my senior batch (2015) is somewhat worse. But for our batch it is somewhat good, still it should be better. In our batch, no TOP MnC we're recruited. But after that I happy to here Infosys recruited. In my batch, placed 60 students in Infoview is achieved.

A review on Sona College of Technology.

Placements: In civil, 40% of the students got placed. The average salary offered was 15-20thousand. Placement was reduced year by year. Comparing to other departments, civil has least count of placements. Some students are interested in higher studies, and some started a business.

Better college when compared to others, but I'll prefer some other college if you need a big scale.

Placements: In my batch, the total students were 1,100 out of which 800 to 850 got placed. Most of the companies are startup companies, where my friends got placed. Many companies in Chennai came for recruitment, and most of them got placed. Some companies like Infotech, Hakuna Matata, Polaris, etc., visit the campus. In my senior batch, the same number of students in the same companies got placed. In my batch, nearly 75 to 80% of the students got placed. The highest pay offered by Zoho company is 7.5 LPA, ...

College review Sona College Of Technology Salem.

Placements: There are placement opportunities, but 100% placements are not assured. Would be having many off-campus drives rather than on campus. Nearby KIOT college has many drives, where we would be notified to attend those companies. There would be internship where you would be made into placement list.

A review about my college and my department.

Placements: Students of this college got almost placed in the good companies. The students had good training to attend the placement, and the faculty helped students to attend the interviews. Most of the companies have been involved in the process to get talented students for their reputed organisation.

Good infrastructure, but bad management and cost of education is expensive.

Placements: The placement opportunities were good in the year 2014, but later the number of MNC companies coming to our college for placements has decreased. Recently Sona got back its good olden days in the campus placements, I think. During my tenure, 50% of the students have got placed in good companies. The salary package ranges from 2LPA to 6LPA. The most notable IT companies have visited our college for placements like Accenture, Cognizant, Honeywell, Infosys, Athena, etc. Earlier most of the core com...

The Sona College of Technology is a heaven on earth.

Placements: The placements were not too good at Sona College of Technology. They filter students in various ways to reduce the placement count. They also don't take necessary steps to ensure placement, so the job opportunities for all the students are not assured. Only the placement related training is provided here.

Partly satisfied, as the placements are not good for average students. It has higher faculty.

Placements: The placements are good. The students should work hard. For hardworking students, the college is trustworthy. Many of the faculty members help students and motivate them, but some of the faculty members do not provide OD, i.e. on duty, and some think the students are not worthy and some faculty members have orthodox behaviour.

It is a good college but placement is weak now.

Placements: My senior batch has good placements at top companies like Accenture. Accenture acquired bulk students, which is around more than 400. Then Titan, JSW, CTS also recruited the students. In fashion technology department, all students were placed in their core companies. After that, in my batch, Infoview, Tech Mahindra, IBM, CTS and most of the start-up companies recruited in the campus placements.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor placements in 2016 and 2017.

Placements: After 2015, placement is little dull. Many students from seniors batch were not selected during the campus placements. Later on, in my batch also, many students didn't get placed. They are still searching for the job. Five to six companies hire for software role; remaining companies are BPOs. The highest salary offered was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest salary was 1.2 LPA. The average salary offered was 2.8 LPA. The companies visited our campus were Zoho, Information View, Tech Mahindra, and so on. The...

The college has good infrastructure and average placements.

Placements: The placements are not better because the teaching side is the worst and extracurricular activities not satisfied. The fees structure is high. Avoid our college. Many colleges have good placements so, please don't join Sona College of Technology.

Sona is the best among the nearest surrounded colleges.

Placements: It had good placements for my batch and my senior batches. Most of the students got placed in companies like Titan, JSW, Accenture and other MNCs. The highest and the lowest salaries offered were like 5 LPA and 3 LPA respectively. Around 60% of our batch students got placed, and the same case with seniors, but I am not sure about the percentage of the placement.

The Sona college- excellence in education.

Placements: The Sona College gives better placements every year in MNCs. I got placed in the Wapco company during the year 2016. In the mechanical engineering, we got 90% of the placements. Many IT companies come for the placements every year. The Sona College of Technology is the best industry connected college in Salem surrounding areas. I would thank my college.
