Dissatisfied with the management but the way of teaching and the system is good.

Placements: Placements are in large companies like Zoho, Tech Mahindra, JSW and other big core companies. Maximum students are been placed at least in a BPO company. We also perform well in our academics and the college will recommend us for a large company. The students who are placed can go to job while studying their 7th semester.

Best place to celebrate learning.

Placements: Placements are actually a bit poor compared to last year. Major companies that visited were Zoho, Infoview, Tech Mahindra, MindTree, Renault Nissan and others are just small startups and with lower packages below 3 lpa. If you are talented, then it is the best place to study here. Learning is a kind of celebration. Placement training is very poor, just conducted for namesake.

Good environment and satisfactory teaching.

Placements: Compared to our immediate senior batch, placements were good. Many MNCs came for campus drive. Nearly 67% of students would be placed. The highest salary was Rs. 6.5 lpa. Lowest pay was Rs. 10k. Tech Mahindra, Think & Learn, Dell, Essy Solutions, Rane India, Renault Nissan, Shardha motors, Meenakshi Mills etc. Off campus drives were offered by the college. No internships were provided I think.

Sona College of Technology - The place that teaches every good habit and builds a career.

Placements: I completed B.Tech in Fashion technology. In my batch, a total of 60 students were there and among them, 40 got placed in reputed companies and IT sector. 12 went for higher studies and the remaining 8 indulged in their family businesses and own businesses. It is really true, that each year, the students from Sona Fashion Technology got their careers quickly. The placement in charge Dr Raja will help every student to get their career even after their course. If he knows any job vacancy, he will...

Good infrastructure and good facilities are available. But canteen is not good.

Placements: Placements are good. But not like previous years. Many of the students got an internship. The highest stipend offered is Rs.18000, the lowest stipend is Rs. 8000, the average stipend is Rs. 10000. 50 percent of students got internship offer from various companies. Most of the roles are programmer profiles.

College was good before 2014 , but now it has lost its power and trust in many things.

Placements: When considering placements, my college was excellent until my senior batch. They tried out a strategy of getting more students placed in a single company and almost 70% students would get placements in one company. But when it comes to my batch, they could not bring a single company until the last semester starting. And in that last semester, some companies came and the placement percentage was very low. Even though some got placed in startups, they have been not called since. And for my junior...

Good: 1.Qualified teachers - Most of the teachers have at least M.E or M.Tech qualification 2. Reachability: College is located in the heart of the city. 3. Infrastructure: College has the nice infrastructure, with all the equipment’s needed for an engineering. 4. Fees: College management is getting the actual fees as prescribed by the government, which is a rare scenario in many engineering colleges. 5. Freedom: No strict rules followed. So students are not under any pressure, so they can f...

There is freedom for students in college. But there is little politics in lab grades. The college is good if you can learn on yourself. Few staffs are so good but they have equivalently bad staffs too. Placements: They will say 115% placement, 100 % placement but, everything is a lie. May be 50% of students got placed.

It was an autonomous College and gave full freedom to students. There is no restriction and faculty is friendly. Campus atmosphere is also good. College looks like a park if you enter to college. But placements were Average and college have agreement with few MNC companies. They take bulk number of students.

The best thing I like in my college is the stone bench near the main block where time passes soon and mostly in breaks boys will be gathering there. The infrastructure of our college is really good in a small area and no one will dislike the infrastructure. The major plus is it’s situated between bus stand and railway junction making easy for our travels. And since it’s located in city we can roam around for time pass with lots of eateries and theatres around. In placements there were goo...
