Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, a comprehensive review.

Placements: Placements at PDPU are decent considering only School of Technology (SOT). Referring to the fact that SOT was established in 2010 and our batch was only the 4 batch to pass out as Mechanical Engineers from PDPU, our placements were not that great while comparing to overall placements of all departments of SOT. Petroleum Engineering (School of Petroleum Technology, SPT) had the best placements with PSUs such as ONCG and major companies such as L&T, IRM offering great packages and recruiting in gr...

Infrastructure wise and faculty wise, it is a good college and you can go for it.

Placements: In mechanical engineering, the placements are good. Around 70% of the students got placed, and the average package offered is between 3.5-4 LPA. The cooperation of faculty members and the training and placement cell is also very good. They conduct mock interviews and some personality development training.

All about Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University.

Placements: Computer Engineering course in PDPU was started first time in August 2016. As it takes four years for completing Bachelor degree for 2016 batch students, there has been no placements given to the first batch till now. The placements for the first batch of Computer Engineering will be held in 2020. But considering the reputation of the institute, we cannot neglect the possibilities of good placements. There is one placement cell in college, and under that cell, the branch wise placement cells are...

About my loving college.

Placements: The placements are very good in our college, and most of the companies have come to our college for recruiting. Our information and communication technology batch is the second batch of the college, so in our college never placements have come for us, but there are placements in our college.

Absolutely lavishing lifestyle to be indulged and a life to be lived. Absolutely satisfied.

Placements: Well talking about the placements, here we have no great preface to the placement in the past. No. Of placed students in Engineering are quite few in undergraduate programme. But for PG and SPM, it is very high. SPT gets the highest amount of placement. While in SLS they few because of the cream crowd belonging to the established businesses. Talking about my field civil engineering, they are very few and also the pay is very less compared to other branches.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is a good university for studying B.Tech and also in M.Tech.

Placements: The placement comes from the common company. As per the criteria, the companies give us the starting package of 3.5-8 Lacs. Local infrastructure companies0 from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar come here. And, other IT companies like Hi-Tech, Wipro and others also come here. If you want placement from civil engineering from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, then you should not come to this college.

One of the best colleges in Gujarat but with a few glitches.

Placements: The placement specifically in mechanical engineering department is a bit of average. Almost 50-60% students get placed, but the package ranges between 5.5-6 lacs per annum. The companies like Reliance, Milacron, Bosch, etc., come at our college. Compared to petroleum engineering department, the package was less as they get packages of about 18-19 lacs per annum form companies like ONGC, etc.

This college gives you a lot of opportunities in not only your field but also in other fields.

Placements: The placements are quite good. If you are good in studies and have knowledge in your field, you will have good placement. There are core companies which come for placements. There are also some PSUs which come to campus recruitment, for example, ONGC, BHEL, Reliance, etc.

PDPU is largely appreciated for its infrastructure and is also certified 'A' by NAAC.

Placements: The campus placements were decent 2 years ago with the civil branch, but since last two batches (2016 and 2017 batch), the number of students getting desired placements in the core fields is low. In 2017, in the civil batch, not more than ten students got placed in the core companies with the highest package of 5 LPA.

PDPU is the best for the students, who want to study and also for who don't want to study.

Placements: We are the 2nd branch of computer engineering at PDPU. So, there are no placements done yet. But in other branches, which started before, the placement percentage is nearly 90 %. Some big companies like lime ONGC, Reliance, and many others come and recruit the students at the maximum package of 18 LPA and the average package of 5 LPA.
